It can be any color, or else it would be SUPER rare to have any true colored dragons, because to have a blue dragon, you would need a blue dragon and another blue dragon to produce a blue egg.

And my dragon for my RPG character is a gorgeous teal. but it doesn't have to be so.

Silver would be SOOOO sweet. It was my first idea for my RPG character, but it would make for a boring blade. So I picked a nice, light teal.

what if the "green egg" ends up being another female like saphira. and Thorn is only evil because Murtagh is.. and murtagh is because galbatorix made him say he would do what he wanted him to do in the anceint language. so if galbatorix were to die.. then murtagh could be good again and then thorn could be good. it all just depends I guess..... I just want book III to come out already... does anyone have an Idea when that might be?

the green dragon isnt a girl cause in the end of eldest galby tried 2 capture saphira b/c he said she waz the only female cause the green egg was male i no i can hardly wait 4 book 3! my guess is sometime in 2007 hopefully like may or somethin but i dnt no a specific date

He is done writing. He has been done writing for a long time. The reason it is taking so long is because the books r coming off the press. He was probly done writing in like 03 or 04. It takes 2-4 to make and print books.

waht the heck r u talking about? He has finished it. It is like JK rowling and Harry Potter. She was done writibng the seventh book before the fourth came out. It takes 2-4 years for the book to be checked by a perfessional, rewriten, and copied in the press. The longest part is the press. That can take up to 10 years if a ton of books are scheduled before it.

She has a point IMNOTCRAZY... One the varden / elfs have to get the egg and get it to arya if shes gonna be the next rider... and if galby finds another likely canidate for the 3rd dragon rider first he will make them touch the egg before eragon or the varden gets near it

and the dragon chooses who its rider is going to be - so even if the elves/varden give the egg to arya, if the dragon doesnt "approve of her" then its not gonna hatvh for her
