ok, this might be stupid, but elves don't eat meat because they don't like killing animals right? So how come it says Arya was wearing leather in Gilead? Leather comes from cows, so you have to kill them to get it. That doesn't seem right for elves.

Anyway, if you were a vegan (who doesn't use anything from animals, like the elves) then even if you waited for the cow to die, or someone else killed it, you still don't wear leather.

Thanks Firetongue! I had a great laugh. But the mental picture I had was Arya singing so terribly that the cow's insides would shrink little by little until only the skin was left. Then she would walk up to the cow and say; "Sister cow, what happened to you/" "How sad. You have fallen into the Void." "In your honor, I shall use your hide for clothing so as to remember your service to my wardrobe."
