Have you guys heard of Guitar Hero World Tour yet?

I don't think it's been mentioned in the above posts. If it has then I look like a fool XD

But it's got a drum kit, and a microphone...hmmmm, sound familiar?

Yea yea... just like another copy of rock band you say?.... Well you should read up a bit more, cause GH World Tour is gunna blow rock band Right outa the water. Stuff That GH WT will have rock Band dont includes:

1. A New Slider on the guitar
2. Complete Character Creation ( everything down to your fret board color!!!!)
3. The drum set will have symbols on it
4. Over 100 songs on the game originally!!!!
5. A song creation feature!!!!!
6. Plus everything Rock Band has, including the sound effects for the guitar, singers bass drums........

This game isnt just another rock band... its a way of Red Octane showing Harmonix Who is boss!

It does sound a lot better than Rock Band...unfortunately I just purchased Rock Band...I can't afford something that's just like it.

I guess i'll just have to stick with good 'ole rockband.

Yeah I was gonna buy rock band, then I heard about this and decided to wait for it.
I like rock band and all but its a LOT better if you have an Xbox because then you can download 100s of songs.
If i had an Xbox instead of a Wii I'd choose Rock Band before Guitar Hero for that reason.

Rock Band is kinda nice though in some aspects. I like the guitar a lot better than the guitar hero one. The art styple is pretty nice too...the scenes while you're playing are a lot different, but in a good way.

The features in Guitar Hero World Tour sound a lot better than what Rock Band has to offer.

On the Wii you can't download songs, but they are giving you the option to buy expansion packs at stores, similar to downloadable content for Xbox.

Yea but if you had an xbox , guitar hero allows you to download tons of songs... they even give out free songs on holidays

Forsworn: I got an 86% on it on Medium. Lol I don't think I've beat it on Hard yet...

Aang: I just beat Welcome To The Jungle on Expert, which was kinda a miracle. Now we can do new songs in the career! I think I'll do Black Magic Woman next- it seems kinda easy.

Hammer-ons are actually simple. You just don't strum on all the notes that are glowing. Though you don't even need to use them in the game. I don't use them since they get confusing at times. They could actually mess you up.

Forsworn (again): I just beat that song on Expert for the first time- which I said earlier- and it kinda does get stuck in your head! Lol And Arya just played Black Magic Woman, so now that's stuck in my head!

I bought some new characters today. Slash, Tom Morello, and some other guy. I can't believe we didn't get them before! Wow, I played GH a lot today... lol

gah that song is a stinker to get through. It has the fast moving fingerings and the repeating stuff at points too and it gets tiring. The best i got was like an 85 on hard. I have never tried expert (dont think i want to either lol)

But to tell you the truth i play more on guitar hero 2 than any of the other ones.

well thats the thing though i dont use hyper speed so that is probably why i do so well.

meh. i guess. im not much into it anymore but i do play it occasionally.

My best on TTFATF is beating it with 94% of the notes hit on expert

It just takes lots of practice.

BYOB is comfirmed on World tour LOL! that will be the funnest song to play in that game..... there gunna make the intro to it nuts on expert lol... i cant wait....

back to what you guys were talking about.... if you can play hard, its not gunna be much longer till your playing expert.... my advice is go through some endurance training lol..... in other words, practice the devil went down to georgia on expert a lot

I got GH3 for PS3 not too long ago. I beat it on easy and I'm working on medium. I don't think I'm gonna do that great on hard though, since you have to use the stupid orange button lol Anyways, it's a pretty fun game I suppose. I'm hoping the one coming out in October is better though

yea theres 84 songs i think? and if you dled the new matalica pack they get added into wt as well... I can wait to try out finger tapping

Yea there's a bundle set with all the stuff for like 170 i think and then there's a package with the game and guitar for 100, then just the game

Btw just curious... what difficulty do all of you play on? any1 else play expert?

The song that got me the most when playing expert was the devil went down to Georgia.... my arm was sore for a week after playing it lol

I play on medium level because using theorange button is very hard and i still need to get used to sliding my figners down the guitar

Well its on GH3 and its the final boss battle song, but the version im talking about is... Well i know for the 360 at least there was a boss track pack download for free and the one im talking about is in there

I actually dont thing gh has a foot pedal... its three drum heads and 2 symbols i believe
