Leath quistled a toon as he climbed up the Beor Mountains with his group of the ten most skilled soldiers in all of Galbatorix's vast army. They had been traveling for some time now and it was begining to get dark. Leath realized that they had better find shelter soon for the skys looked as if they would storm any second. He turned to his men and ordered them to stop before he continued to speak to them. "The first man to find shelter gets the biggest portion or meat!" Without any time passing the soldiers where scurrying to find a cave of some sort. As they where searching Leath chuckled to himself. Then walked a few paces over to where a huge boulder seemed to be imbedded into a cliff. He took off his cloak so that he only had his vest on. His muscular arms where a sine of his amazing skill with weapons. He grapped a hold of the rock with his arms and began to push it sideways. A loud noise came when the rock slowly rolled away. Leath then shouted to his soldiers who didn't seem to like the joke. As the sat around a fire warming themselves and eating away at the rich foods Galbatorix had prepared for them, Leath went outside the cave. He looked at the amazing sight stretched before him. The sun was now setting and its colors filled the air. Then without warning Leath turned his head to the east as if hearing something. He quickly entered the cave and ordered the men to pack up. "We have been followed!" he said sternly. The men started off in less then a minute again still wandering who was following them.

Leath and his men lept down the mountain not looking back. They kept on running until they came to a forest. Leath stopped and looked around, where were they? He did not know. Suddenly the ground began to shake. In desperation Leath and his men bounded into the forest.

Leath dogged the fire but the trees didn't. Soon the whole forest was on fire. Leath had to keep running.

"You heard the man," shouted Leath to his men. The men stopped turned around and each shouted, "Brisingr!" Instantly the hole forest began to burn. Leath and his men then began running again until they were sure they had lost them. When they reached the other side of the forest Leath could barely see a few dragons flying away over the mountain top. He gave a short sigh of releaf. Then they started walking again.

OOC: ooh. hope I can join. trying to get back into the swing of things. lol

IC: Rector and Draco were over the very border of the Beors, the towering giants that seemed to climb forever into that good sky. Though Draco wished he could continue to sightsee, Rector suddenly said to him, 'Look down there. The trees below are ablaze.' Draco followed Rector's gaze and saw the glowing red of the fires. "I wonder what's down there." Draco said aloud. "I sense several presences..... lets have a look." Rector faced forward and angled in toward the fires cautiously.

Phalynx had seen the chaos emerge. She had been simultaneously keeping an eye on the army in the Beors as well as checking out Crimson when he drew closer. When they mixed, everything seemed to get confusing and rushed. She wondered if they knew where each others' loyalties lay. Phal shook her head. If chaos wanted to destroy allies of Galbatorix, it wasn't her concern. However, she saw people on her side as well. Skygge she had met only on brief occasions, but she thought he was a good man. The dragon and rider took a little thinking, but she finally recognized them when she got closer.

Draco? Rector? I haven't seen you two in ages! she cried, dropping from her enormous height straight down next to them. She wondered where the two had been, and why she hadn't seen them in so long. Are you still on the side of good? she questioned, hoping that she could still be friends with them. With all the evil presences around, she was uncertain.

OOC: I hope you stick around, Pomfret. Rping's awesome!

OOC: i'll try.

IC: Draco and Rector looked over at Phalynx at the same time, surprised by the suddenness of her entrance. "Good God is that really you?" Draco asked. Rector added in, "It is good to see you again.... at least you are a familiar face. We havent seen one in a while now." Draco nodded as Rector stopped to hover so that they could talk. "And if you consider us looking for a squad of Galbatorix's soldiers being good than yes we are. But no we have not had to do any fighting for a long while now..... perhaps we are lucky in that case." Draco put in with a shrug.

OOC: Mind if I join? When they get accepted Daniel and Jynk will join with a hoard of Galby's men as well, but that's for later. For now...

IC: Wil bolted through the forest, keeping ahead of the flames. There were enemies everywhere. He sensed quite a few dragons though, and hoped they weren't in Galbatorix' army. That would be very bad. He continued to race the fire, using magic to bend the light around his body to make himself dim to the people around, and he his his consciousness as well as he could. For now, the only fight he wanted to partake in was the race against the fire. His breathing soon became ragged and labored, and he knew he would have to slow down to catch his breath soon. Something had to be done about the flames licking at his backside, though.

Ok, I'm quiting this now...too much stuff going on right now.

OOC: Bye, RoD. Pomfret, it's your turn.

OOC: roger that.

IC: As Rector hovered over the fires, he suddenly said to Draco, "What's Crimson doing here??" Draco followed Rector's gaze and could just barely see him within the fires below. He remembered how he had used to serve him until Rector had come to him that night in the city. Draco took him away only because he didnt want him serving Crimson; it wasnt a well deserved fate.

OOC: Sorry, for the wait.

IC: Crimson followed the soldiers. He could out run them, he had been known to run for 20 hours straight without rest. He raised his had and shot a lightning bolt at one of the soldiers. It was then that he noticed two dragons in the sky, and he knew both of them. Phal... and Rector. Both of them he considered enmies and should die. One a traitor, and one credited for ruining many of his plans.

OOC: pass. cant think of nothin.

OOC: Mind if I join with my new char?

OOC: The answer is a yes. I talked to Leath on the phone today and he said yes. Just wanted to let you know.

OOC: Sorry, I thought it was Pomfret's turn I forgot he passed. Sorry

IC: Crimson looked up at Phal. He gave a smirk and said, "Acutally, I am just punishing some fools from Galbatorix's army who flee me. What is it for you Phal." he said.

OOC: Sorry that its so short.

OOC: Huh... I thought I was immediately after draco. Anyway, Pomfret hadn't gone as well as draco from the last time I posted.

OOC: I'll pm Pomfret, and if he doesn't go in a few days you can skip him and me. ('Cause I'll be gone.)

OOC: oops. my bad. lol

IC: "I didnt think I'd see you again, Crimson." Draco said as Rector joined Phal above him. "I dont think you need to pester any of them without a cause. I have more of a cause than any of them because not only did I betray you, I took Rector from you."

OOC: sorry i'm out of it today.

OOC: s'okay, Pomfret.

IC: Phal smiled. That doesn't surprise me, Crimson. You hardly inspire loyalty, she taunted. She gave Crimson a large smirk when Draco added to the conversation.

Why must you burn a whole forest down, Crimson? So destructive... Hm, perhaps if these soldiers no longer follow you, they will join our cause, she said with an innocent smile. She turned and flew off, hoping to speak with them. On the way, she noticed a man on the road below them. With surprise, she recognized him. Retribution! Hello, she said, not bothering to ask why he was here. He seemed more of the secretive type, from what she could remember.

OOC: I'll just say this is after Revenge, Aeraldi, so that we don't have to go through greetings again. That okay?

OOC: Yep, that's fine.

Retribution shuddered at the contact and was about to retaliate when he remembered Phalynx.
