It was really sad, but the writing was amateur.
In my English class, we've read a lot of short stories, so I decided to just post them here.
*"The Most Dangerous Game" - 7.8/10 *"The Interlopers" - 8.2/10 *"The Necklace" - 8.3/10 *"The Scarlet Ibis" - 8.6/10 *"The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" - 8.7/10 *"The Lottery" - 8.8/10 *"The Landlady" - 9.5/10 *"Death by Scrabble" - 9.3/10 *"The Masque of the Red Death" - 8.2/10 *"The Cask of Amontillado" - 8.7/10

Evermore~7/10
It was a good book but it reminded me of Twilight a little too much and the writing was a bit distracting.

caterpillar!! Well, its a series, but the series of Percy Jackson and the Olympians bk. 1-5...
AMAZING! They're by Rick Riordan (yeah, its R-I-O-R-D-A-N) and its full of action, adventure, and a lot of traps, plots and also told in first person! Please, please, PLEASE read them. You won't be sorry. I'm serious. It can teach you so much about the Greek gods too, and its worth the read. Trust me!!
I give the series out of five stars, TWENTY!!

Lol, yeah, they were pretty bad. Except The Landlady was okay, and a bit creepy.
The Scarlet Letter - 7/10 Good concept and storyline, which allowed a variety of insights to be made about the book, but the author's style of writing destroyed any possible enjoyment to be taken out of reading it.

I read the fourth Odd Thomas book. I didn't like it that much, except for the 'Christopher Snow' hints. That would be kinda cool. Odd's still funny. 6/10

When I got it I read it in a day, then I gave it to him to read. I took it back a month later because I wanted to read it. He only got about one or two hundred pages into the book. He knows that Brom is Eragon's father and that Oromis dies because he skipped ahead. I wonder if he will read book 4.

Edmund Bertram's Diary By: Amanda Grange ~ 8/10 Captain Wentworth's Diary By: Amanda Grange ~ 8.5/ 10 A Room of One's Own By: Virginia Woolf ~ 5/10 My Antonia By: Willa Cather ~ 6/10 The Awakening By: Kate Chopin ~ 5/10
The last three I had to read for classes, which is probably the reason for the low rating. Still, they were good in their own way.

I only dislike it because the characters are shallow and flat, the plot's weak and lacking, everything's one dimensional, and it's just dull. I don't understand what everyone loves about it =/

I wonder if short stories count... Aesop's Fables 9 / 10 most were good, but some could have used a little more *pizzazz* if you know what I mean... (not good details for those that don't)

Timeline~Michael Crichton 9/10
This was a really interesting book. I liked how the author mixed adventure and suspense with science and created a unique type of novel. And the way he worked quantum technology into his story line was really impressive.

Last book I read would be Bronze dragon codex, and I would have to give it a 10/10. Really good, plan on reading the rest of the codex books, cause this one was so good!

Re: Last book you have read and rating
My last book that I read in full was The Last Hunt, by Bruce Coville, final book in The Unicorn Chronicles. 7.5/10. It was a satisfying ending, and a good book, but nothing super-special.
And to Spark: You should definitely read the rest of the Codex books! I've read (and own) Red, Brass, Bronze, Green, Black, and Gold, and I'm looking for Silver, and they are very fun reads. Bronze has so far been my favorite, though I really, really liked Red.
