I remember reading how much Eragon would like "Fists of steel", and I'v thought about whether or not he'll get them. He REALLY thought it would be cool to be able to punch anything he wanted, including Urgals(although after interrogating Nar-Garzvog his opinion may have changed about that). Of course, there is always the possibility if he got them that he would lose a finger to the drill. But aside from that, do you think he will get them or not, and why?

i actually don't think he will thogh he thought they would be cool they are permant and it sounds like the process of getting them isn't fun

Its true they said dwarf knuckles are thicker than humans', but in Eldest after hearing that, Eragon still said he wanted them. I guess it could go either way.

I dont think that CP was intending on making fists of steel any part of the story when he mentioned them, so no, he wont.

im not saying it would be a major part of the story,, but it could be an interesting addition.

Well I think they would be cool, you could remove the spikes if you thought they were annoying. You wouldnt have to carry a weapon everwhere really.

Yeah it would be really pointless not to mention having to be carefull for the ret of your life and poking holes in all of your things.

no, not really. i cant think of any situation in which they would be usefull. it would be much easier to just get a normal wepon than get spikes drilled into your hand.

YA, but it still said Eragon loved the idea, so he might get them... Although it is less likely than i thought.

Also consider that the "fists" may hinder his other skills like sword fighting.

an ordinary soldier cant use magic to block it, and a magician isnt going to specially protect a single soldier, they need to protect a large section.

Well the point of them wouldnt be against galby, a different weapon wouldnt change his skill level that much...

in my point of view it would be pretty much useless i mean he will have a sword.

But he could use the spikes on left hand and sword in right, but no spikes on right so it doest get in the way. Hed have like a double weapon then.
