remember in the haven city was just a small village he lived in so i guess he allowed the city to be founded when he saved it. just a guess. and the green sage isnt his real father so jak isnt his real name.

the ending is kinda weird...i have the 4th game, Jak X, but i never got to go far in story mode since i need to buy a new memory card lol

i like the third the best. More guns, more health, more places, more missions etc. also i hate the alarm in the second its really annoying because you cant do anything without setting it off. and theres constant fighting in haven city in the third so if you were bored and you completed the missions you could still fight. Re: does anybody like the jak games? well, kinda. i'll tell u the story. okay, so u kno how u killed krew (i hate that guy) in jak 2? well, he has a daughter named rein who has a message from krew. in it, he says that in a drink that he gave everybody to drink in honor of his death, he put sum poison in every drink. and in order to get the cure for the poison, sumbody has to win this race tournament. so jak, ashelyn, torn, and keira join the tournament to win the prize (which is the cure). and so the whole point of the game is to win the racing tournament to win the cure to survive. i'm pretty sure that's how it goes.

Re: does anybody like the jak games? there are different types of games that u do too. not only regular racing. u already know that its combat racing rite? then theres deathmatch. time race, assassin, artifact race, etc.

Re: does anybody like the jak games? well in jak 2 in hero mode once you get to the point that you would have all the guns anyways its even harder than normal because now its the same as it would normally be but now the guys have more heath, because its just the guns nothing else, you dont even have the gun upgrades.

Re: does anybody like the jak games? Jak 3 wasnt that bad. Jak 2 is the only one thats allways a challenge. Jak and Daxter is stupid though, its easy, no wepons, its extreamly corny, bad story line etc. etc. Sometimes Jak 2 is too hard though. for example the mission where you retrive the first half of the seal and when you do you get metomorphacly bombarded with guards, it toook me like a 100 tries before i relized that your sposed to jet board past the transports before they drop the troops (i actully fought my way through the whole thing the first time i beet the game though, no idea how i succeeded in that) . The blast bot mission is pretty hard also.

Re: does anybody like the jak games? yeah i beet it wihout it the first time but after dieing like 300 times the second time i relized that if you jet board you can make it past all of the transports before they dump their troops. All of the bosses in Jak 2 are really hard also, the first time you fight the baaron isn't that ard but the rest of them are.

I like the mission in Jak 2 where u have to hunt the scouts in Haven forests, and also wen u have to shoot all those invisible metal heads! Actually, I luv Haven Forest! Its so kool in there! I also luv jetboarding, its fun. And dat mission where u destroy the HellCatz is awesome, and when u save the Lurkers.

Re: does anybody like the jak games? I hate the mission were you go to the drill platform and you have to destroy those ships with all the eco in them wit the turret. destroying the ships is easy but in the beggining when you have to kill 40 flying krimzon guards is really hard.

That was disterbing anyway I don't have any Jak and Daxter games but when I go to my friends house down the street I end up playing it every time I think I'e beaten the game at least 3 times just this summer but yet because I did that over the summer it seems like a waste of my vacation but still it is a good game!

Re: does anybody like the jak games? My siblings and I are going to have Jak 2 challenges soon. Basically, you get up one day and just start playing Jak 2. By the end of the day, you see how far you got depending on the percentage of the game that you beat. Each one of us gets our own day to try to beat the game. The person who gets the highest percentage beaten wins. The people who aren't playing that day have to bring the player food and drink and stuff. Lol, crazy idea, isn't it?

So I was just thinking in the shower, the whole thing is 12 hours. And that means that we have 720 minutes. Let's just say there are 100 missions, since each mission is 1 percent. So 720 divided by 100 is 7.2, meaning we have about 7 minutes per mission. If I did that right.... _________________

Re: does anybody like the jak games? I think that's right. And if that's how it's gonna be, then it won't be THAT hard to beat. Some missions are really short and some are hard, (like the one in the forest when you have to beat all of those flying scout things.)

I think she'll probably be able to beat the whole thing before her 12 hours are up..... so we thought of something different. Re: does anybody like the jak games? Yeah I remember that one where you're in the shooting thing and then you have to destroy the ship. That one wasn't all that hard.
Actually, I don't think there are any missions that are all that hard, some are just annoying. Like the underwater Titan suit mission, that one s.ucked. Actually all the Titan suit missions are stupid. The fun ones are the racing ones and anything in Haven Forest. Also, the once called Explore the Palace is fun. And it's fun kicking the Baron's butt Well anyway I beat the whole game yesterday in 11 hours and 1 minute We'll see how these guys do. Arya's playing right now but she's like wasting so much of her time because she keeps goofing off...._________________

Anyway, today was my Jak 2 Challenge, and I finished in 10 hours and 50 minutes, putting me in the lead so far. I was only able to do it because I took like 2 breaks and I hardly slacked off in the game. I just went from one mission to the next immediately. Maybe I was just trying too hard... _________________

Re: does anybody like the jak games? You can only play them on the 80 gig ps3, and i have a 40 gig. the 80 gig was discontinued. also the guysat best buy say that evewn on an 80 gig, playing ps2 games will hurt the console.

Re: does anybody like the jak games? IT'S NOT FAIR THOUGH!!!! You guys make ME go first and then you go and change the RULES after I'm done!! That's so unfair!!! Okay so when I did it, we were supposed to finish the game within the 12 hour timeset, right? So I took the practical approach, and I planned my time accordingly. Like at 3 pm, it's been 3 of 12 hours so you should be 25% done, like that. So I just went along with that. And then when I finish, these guys look at my game and say okay you did it in 11 hours and 1 minute but that's not FAIR!! We weren't supposed to try to get the best time! We were just finishing before the deadline!! And now these guys are all trying soooo hard just to beat me, it's not fair!!! And plus they were watching me play so they probably picked up some tips or something.....grrr....>_>
