It was midnight in Helgrid, I strolled through the city wary of the temple to my back.

Zarec' followed the strange person walking away from the evil temple, it was late and he was in a large dark robe. He hoped that the darkness and his magic would prevent humans from noticing the large man who was over 8 ft tall, at least until he laerned what the strange carried that gave off such power...

OOC: Can you post some info about yourself/your character so i can stop refering to you as the person.

She was tall and thin, her hair a dark brown, straight and shimmering in the moonlight. A long robe covered her figure, but even the robe didn't hide the fact that she was muscular and yet completely graceful. Hearing footsteps behind her she silently drew her blade, thin yet strong like her, and used it as a mirror to watch the large man behind her. His magic prevented humans from seeing her but as an elf, he had not covered himself against her. Now to determine if he was friend or foe...

Zarec' saw the elf tense, he knew he had been caught. He halted his approach and streched his mind all around, there was something other than him and the elf on these dark streets. He pulled out his Urgal horn Longbow. He shot swiftly and gave it the power of lightning, aiming several inches over the elfs head at the shadowy wall and prayed she was smart enough not to or to slow to be able to parry it.

Katrina ducked quickly but was struck down by a reverberation of the lightening, she lay on the ground in agony, and did her best to croak the words to heal herself. She would not attack, to many had already been killed, praying for help, she pulled herself up and burst into a swift jog. Would he help her when he realized she was harmless, only on a quest for the Queen Islandzi?

Zarec' sighed in relief as he saw the bolt pass the elf and hit the shodows next to her. He saw a great screeching creature jump from the shadows. He took a quick look to make sure the elf was unharmed and fled into the alley's as the town watch rushed to the spot.

Katrina leapt onto a parapet, and knelt in the shadows, seeing the large man disappear (quite a feat for one his size) into an alley. Still crouching she watched the dark shadow he had seen leap into the street. It was a Ra'zacs fully grown form...turning its head, it could clearly smell her fear, "Control yourself!" she scolded mentally. Focusing all her thoughts she, directed killing words in her mind...it looked into her eyes, and she froze...a conciousness permeated her thoughts, and her body...as wise as dragons,Oromis had once said.

She was trapped...


OOC:I can't remember the name for the Ra'zacs grown form, sorry!

Zarec' watched the elf from a roof top. It was not looking good for her. Zarec' held no particular love for elves, but anything to deprive the giant ugly bird of a meal was worth it.
"Hetsui, aid the elf and break its mind then, it might give us time to escape before its mate or the gaurds arrive."
Zarec' stood with grim determination as the great spectral bear launched itself at the ugly beast.

OOC: Owell, niether do I, im just gonna call Im just gonna call it ugly lol.

A huge furry...thing? leapt out of the darkness, her hero, no matter what, hitting the lethrblaka at full force, she went to move and couldn't...the beast...no, the bear, had blocked her mind...frozen in place she whispered the words for "lessen the power on me!" in the ancient language, it slowly loosened, but it was not quite there...she could not longer hold the spell...that could only mean one thing, this was the great spectral bear she sought, but he hated elves? That why she had been chosen, as half a were cat, she had no of their power or wisdom, but was able to transform into a kitten (at her young age)...

OOC:I'm not sure if I'm allowed to reveal something like I just did as reveal something like that this late...let me know if it bothers you and I can edit it!

Zarec' concentrated very hard. He was expending a vast amount of energy giving Hetsui physical form. He normaly only sent the spirit bear to attack minds, but for this beast of the shadows, he wanted Hetsui to really tear it up. For a few brief moment the great bear was like he once was, enormous and powerfull, but now with a sharp and strong mind.

The two great beast tumbled in the alley for a minute or so, Hetsui's large claws gauging the Lethrblaka in the legs and torso, its retaliation was futile as the bears magicla flesh filled in with each deep bite it took. A few seconds later the ugly bird took off into the night screeching, and Zarek' withdrew his power from Hetsui, returning him to his spirit form. Before he turned away from the scene, he noticed the slightly feline elf and told Hetsui to release her from the spell he'd set to keep her out of the fight.

OOC: So your character is a Elf/werecat, allright cool. And just so you know, Hetsui is a giant bear of the Boers that my character defeated on his pilgrimage. The bear came back and became his spirit guide.

katrina was astonished as the bear vanished, was he dead? if so, who was the eight foot man he accompanied?

Turning into her kitten form, she leapt off the parapet knowing she'd land on her feet... running as fast as she could she headed towards the alleyway where he had disappeared. She carefully opened her mind and searched for him.

Zarec' was cornered, not the worst thing that could have happened to him in the middle of Ra'zak territory. Oh well if these humans wanted to taste his steel he would give them a feast.

Captain of the Gaurd: In the name of the Emporer, show us your face stranger and explain what you are doing here so late.

Zarek' chuckled and dropped his cloak and illsuion, the humans now saw his as the enense Kull he was, clad in white bearfur with chain mail underneath, wicked looking claw like weapons on his left fist, and and lust for battle in his eyes.

He heard the Captain call for more soldiers and was about to plunge his claws into the nearest gaurd when he felt a tickle at his mind, he did not recoil nor set up his defenses, and hoped it meant him no harm.

Katrina saw the guard in the alley, and saw the humengous kull...she drew some energy from the soldiers and lifted the pebbles around to strike the others down that she hadn't killed with the power that she pulled out. Turning into her elf form she killed the last of the soldiers near her, and watched as the Kull killed the men remaining on the other side.

Katrina: "i know an escape, but we'll have to run to get away from the guard!" she turned and ran down the alley and paused at the entrance.

"Awww, but there's more comming" exclaimed Zarec'
<I suggest you follow her...> Hetsui said in his mind.
Zarec' sighed and took off after her, collapsing part of the alley with his magic to slow the gaurds.

Katrina didn't want to wait any longer "COME!" she bellowed in the ancient language hoping the raw power she released would do something useful.

Not looking to see the result she turned and bolted away, knowing that a Kull could keep up with a horse if need be.

Zarec' followed the elf through the twists and turns of the alleys, and hoped for the best when they finaly stopped.

Coming to a halt, Katrina whispered words in the ancient language, a light grew in the wall in front of her, then the wall exploded...

Turning and grabbing the Urgals arm she pulled him through the glowing portal, darkness enveloped them, and the portal opened in the secret passage underneath the temple.

Zarec' blinked several time to adjust his eyes. He looked around the room and opened his eyes wide with surprise "What exactly am I looking at here?" he asked

Katrina turned to him, and smiled sweetly, "everyone has their secrets, I happen to know most of them. Werecats share their intelligence with few others but always amongst themselves. Solebum watched this place be built, it is the escape route for foreign sacrifices who didn't really want to find out what was in the caves." Walking to a solid wall, she dusted off a door. Opening it, she found a wine cellar inside, smiling she grabbed a bottle of very old wine, and began to walk down the path to her right. "grab on a follow, its a long trip, might as well enjoy it!"

Zarec' grabbed a small barrel of ale and followed the elf. He hoped all would turn out well, but did as she suggested and enjoyed the walk and ale. Above them he could still here shout of the town gaurd..

Katrina was enjoying her wine so much that she lost her way, the Kull could handle his liquor a lot better than she could. Knowing she was drunk, she stopped and giggled..."I think we're lost!" she sighed, and looked at the Kull, "Your actually quite good looking for a Kull, whatsur name?"

Zarec' rolled his eyes. So little it took to intoxicate the delicate creature. Zarek' chuckled feeling his own ale spike his mind "My name is Zarek'tekesh. What, may I ask, is your fair lady" Being slightly impaired made the kull use words he normaly did not, one might take an intoxicated urgal for a polite speaking nobleman!

"My name is Katrina Felina la Sussuro, if that is all you want then you are not much of a person." With a wink and a grin, Katrina morphed into a cat and rubbed his leg with her head. In his mind she said, "Zarek'tekesh, I need to rest, I have spent much of my energy on magic."

"Well then, Lady Feline, we need a nice fire, these tunnels are rather chilly." he grined broadly "Wanna see a cool trick?" He set some dry tinders he carried in the middle of the wide tunnel, took a deep swig of ale and blew it out and watched it explode before him from a fireball conjured in his hand. He soon sennt them both into a coughing fit "Right, fire makes smoke." He punched upwards making a small hole magicaly appear to the surface. He plunked heavily to the floor "Come now, take a seat beside me at the fire" he grined mescheviously

Still a kitten she climbed onto his knee and sat looking at his face, "Oh yeah, you think your so smart starting a fire...you could scratch me behind the ears, that would make you really smart."
Katrina pawed at his leg, and twitched her tail, after a few secounds she leapt onto his shoulder and licked his face, "please?" it was a long way down.

Zarek' chuckled again, and scratched the were-kitten behind the ears. He was soon hypnotized through glances at the large eyes, and warm glowing fire, and slumped to sleep, still scratching the kitten behind the ears.

Katrina purred happily and drifted off to sleep.

A loud banging noise startled her awake, cursing herself, she knew she had been stupid by not taking turns on watch. Then she noticed the Urgal was gone. Fear ran through her, were they ambushed, was he in danger...Izlandi will have her hide if he gets hurt...

"Zarek'!" She meowed, and searched for his mind...

Zarek' heard his name called. He cursed as another rock fell from the ceiling, producing a lound crack on his pounding head. He was just finished sealing up the holes he made to get some fresh air, and headed back to the fire pit.

Katrina turned into her elf form with haste, almost forgetting to form clothes around herself with magic. She just finished wrapping her Kimono when Zarek' came into view.

"We're in danger we have to leave, we've stayed too long as it is, Hurry UP! Izlandzi needs to see you!"

Katrina pulled the camp together with magic and hoisted the pack on her back.

"We've got to meet our entourage at the end of this tunnel. An old friend will be carrying us to Ellesmera."

Still rubbing his head Zarek' followed the elf- cat. They traveled at great speed, often causing him to hit his head on passage entrances. When they reached ther destination his head was pounding so hard he wasnt sure of what he saw, but it amazed him

Glaedr shifted his weight and knelt down to look into the entrance of the cave that Katrina came bounding out of.

"Can you carry both of us?" Katrina asked hurriedly attaching her pack to his saddle.
Of course, I'm only missing a leg, not a wing! He said indignantly.
"Oromis couldn't come?"
He's ill today.
"Alright...Zarek', this is Glaedr, attach your pack to the saddle on the other side."

Katrina deftly climbed atop of Glaedr and offered her hand down to Zarek'...

OOC: Did I already say who my father was? I think I'm going to make it Oromis but I hadn't decided yet. Oromis and Maud as parents.

"A bloody dragon!" Oh what have i gotten myself into, he though. He lashed his bag to the giant creatures saddle and took Katrina's hand. Once seated safely and gripping one of the massive back spike he said "I assume we go to the elves ,they are the only one who coulkd conseal a dragon from the king for so long."

"Yes to the elves, but first I must visit Father. I have some new medicines I think will help him. Don't worry, that'll be quick I promise!"

Katrina mentally told Glaedr to go up.

OOC: now that we're out of Helgrid should we start a new page?

Zarek' just leaned back and enjoyed the ride, he was already banished from all but his own adopted Dead-Eye tribe, why not just go to the elves.

OOC: I dont know, we could join one of the posts in the elf place to continue and have fun in their storyline or make our own.

Katrina turned around agiley on the dragon, "Zarek, why did the great bear go with you?"

"Let him tell you" Hetsui materialized in the air, keeping pace with them.
<In life I was limited to my brute strength. I had not more intelligence than any other wild creature. When Zarek' slew me upon the mountain, everything went black, exept for a little blue ball of light. It told me to guide the young shaman, help him through the hard times ahead, even become a companion. I was suprised that I understood it, but I soon realised I now understood many more things in the world than most beings. I chose to become his guide for the knoledge, but he soon became a friend also.>

OOC: Allright, to the elf land, last time I posted there I think Zarek' was about to go looking for his tribe amoung the hundreds of Kull. He is an exile to all other Kull though, exept those that help the Varden. Welcome back too
