I THINK I KNOW WHO THE THIRD SIBLING IS!

Okay, Eragon and Murtagh are so-called brothers, right? And they both got the first two dragon eggs. And many have been saying Arya will be the Third Rider so I thought that Arya might be the third sibling?

It is not proven and I see many laws, but I think it could be true.
Thoughts?

first of all what about the whole eragon in love with arya thing. it not like cp is going to make him say "oops i feel in love with my sister"
second of all shes a fricken elf!
third, islandi is aryas mother
forth, shes like 90 years older than eragon
fith she would now and she would tell eragon evdrything

exactly what i was thinking, even before i saw yours!!

the only thing out of that entire theory that was right was arya being the rider. oh, and that other king guy is aryas father, i don't remember his name.

yeah this belongs with the stuff like "what if arya kills eragon" or "what if this is all a dream eragon had?"

if Arya and Eragon were relate it would be incest!! Eragon couldnt fall in love with his own sister! CP isnt crazy lol if they fell in love and then found that they were related there would be public outrage, (well i think there would my little sister has read the Inheritance books)

First - thats just wrong.
Second - Arya was an Elf to start with while Eragon was human
Third - saphirabrightscale is right in his/her opinion

If CP did that I would round up a posse and raid his house

nasadua is black (not that that is a bad thing its just that eragon is not) and we know ajihad is her father. i think it will be a character we havnt been indroduced to yet.

wait, am i missing something? Who said the third rider has to be a sibling of Eragon's? Who says there has to be a third sibling? or did this ignitus person just make that up... By the way the third rider is someone we already know about, hasn't CP already said that?

i think he did, and no, the third rider does not have to be a sibling of Eragon's, thats just a theory, but a sibling being arya is impossible, short of magic. lol.

Arya seems the most likely.... but maybe CP's just trying to lead us off track?

i dont think arya is the 3rd sibling, its just a bit... creepy.

and on a side note: i also dont think arya will be the next rider. cp wouldnt put stuff in that all the fans already are gung ho about. if he is going to do that, im sure someone here could give you a detailed outline of whats going to happen the next book before it comes out.
i dont know, but to me, it would be a disappointment, because i like surprises, and arya as a rider, wouldnt surprise me.

I've been racking my brain trying to think of someone else who is skilled in magic, but no one else comes to mind! hopefully cp thought of someone that i missed, made them rider, and wont disappoint me

Peoples, the third sibling is Orik. By the rite of the Dwarves Eragon is now part of their family, hence Orik is practically Eragon's brother. This by no means will effect the chance that Arya will be the next rider.

i dont think there will be a third sibling, i think Eragon has enough to deal wiv findin out the Murtagh is his half brother, if CP adds a new character saying that it is their sibling then i feel that he would be making the book 2 complicated 4 the younger readers that have read the inheritance triology, i have already found that although my sister is an advanced reader at teh age of 11 he still does not understand some of the concepts in Eragon and Eldest.

because the varden need a rider NOW, not in a year or two. Galby's got himself and Murtagh, thier both incredibly powerful, and they have a huge army. eragon is the only Rider for his side, he took forever to get as far as he is, and the Varden's armies are far smaller

not with 2 Riders against them, 1 that never left.

Assuming Murtagh is Eragon's brother and not just a lie to trick Eragon.

They're both still friends: that's partially why Murtagh spared him last time. the fact remains that the Varden are at a considerable disadvantage, and all the time that is wasted on an untrained rider is precious time.

I dont think we are supposed to doubt that they have the same mother. They are 1/2 brothers.


there is little to suggest a third sibling. It was only a theory made by people who didn't want Arya or Roran to become the next rider and saw the (useless) pattern of the riders all having the same mother, so the next one (in their minds) should have the same mother too.

right. and while we can't COMPLETELY count a third sibling out, we don't even have the vaguest of hints towards this, so it's on of the most far-fetched theories in existence.

I think that Morzan is Eragons father, that creates enough problems so why make more!

If you remember murtagh only left once and that was when morzan went to try and kill brom and that was when she gave birth to eragon.

she did not leave again after that.

and when morzan died she was killed so it is absoloutley impossible to be a third sibling!!

Its not a likely theory, but its possible. However, Murtagh and Eragon are possibly only half-brothers, because many (including me) think Brom's Eragon's father right? So the third rider might be Roran, although I still think its Arya.

Nobody did. I was just thinking of ideas. The first two new dragonriders are related in at least one way, why not the third? But its just an idea.

i dont think there is a third sibling, not to Eragon or to Murtagh, Selena had thm both, i dont think Morzan has any other children and i think Eragon had a different father but i still dont think Eragon's father had any children so either way i dont believe there is a third sibling, the story would have to twist so much to explain it
