Actually, The 1st book is titled "The Magician's Nephew", thats OK though.
It's a commen misconception that The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe is the 1st.
The 1st movie was pretty good, I'll probly see the rest.

I would have liked it more if it was more mysterious. The way they did it was great, but it's too straight-forward, unlike the book. It all depends.

wrong. The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe is the first book, but The Magician's Nephew is the PREQUIL.

It was too....childish? That will be the word :D I seriously didn't like it. It' weird and u must not think about it because than it will be even more weird. But few questions for u: Are rebels (the good ones) in so desperate situation that they must use childs for figting?
2) Why girls get some weapons for Santa Claus (what a peaceful guy always going on walk with sword, shield and dagger) and didn't used them afterall.
3) why bad wolfs always talk so much before killing someone?
4) Why is Mr.Bad guy (in that case Mrs. Bad witch) conquering lands of good ones?
5) Why should Mr.Bad follow the negotiation rules (lion for useless boy).
6) What a glory can u take when u're sacrificing your self with know that u will be ressurected?

They were made for children. C.S. Lewis (the author) was a Christian and these are based on Christianity. His other books are all theological.

The movie was great, in my opinion. The original BBC production was great too. The books, of course have more mystery, but I think they did a good job with the film. I will be looking forward to seeing the second film.

Anyone in the mood for Turkish Delight? LOL....

Yes they are, "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" was originally going to come out in Dec. "06, but they moved the date to summer 2008 so they could work on the special effects more.

I thought the movie was somewhat childish. a Pg-13 rating would have been more appropriate.

The rating was upped because of the violence with the fighting. Graphic stuff, I guess. lol A lot of parents complained about the violence, that I heard anyway.... :?

ok well like its been said, the books are based on Christianity. number six is the representation of Christ diying and being resurected...

they didnt have to use childern for fightting, but they were prophesied to come and take over rule in Narnia...

As for number 2, they do use those eventually in the other books. Susan becomes a master archer and fights in later battles, the horn is used 2 or 3 times, Lucy's cordial is as well. I dont know if her dagger ever gets used?? any one else remember???

the other stuff is just things that happened. its the story. thats just how it was wrote,,, and honestlly thats some of what really hapens in life with the good and evil stuff...
