Carsaib was in his rented room snoozing after the long ride from Carvahall, the sun was just setting over the mountains as a loud bang arose him from his sleep from down the road. He got up and dragged himself to the window and looked towards where he saw the noise but everything looked peaceful so he trudged back to bed grumpily. It was only once he was about to get back to sleep there was another loud bang and several hoarse shouts.
Once again he dragged himself wearily to the window to see the cafufle, he saw the miller run out of the mill bearing a sword, this was a sign of trouble as Carsaib had always known him to be a peaceful man.
He grabbed his weopons and clothes and rushed off to see what was going on from a closer view. On his way down the stairs through the bar he heard a whinying of a horse and rushed out the door to see them miller fleeing on horse back with two armed men on chase. He left this be when he saw a crowd around the mill, he rushed forward and nudged his way to the front. In the doorway lay a body of a man with various stab wounds to the torso with a blank expression on his pale, bloodless face.
He stepped over him and looked in the mill where several beams had been damaged or broke and various other parts of the building were damaged, another body lay crumpled at the bottom of the stairs with a pool of blood surrounding him. Someone obviously wanted him dead, or wanted something from him, he walked out and stepped over the body again as the crowd stepped back to let him through apart from one person. He didn't make eye contact and tried to step round them unsuccesfully. He looked up at them.
"What do you want! Just let me by!" He was frustrated by this point and was spoiling for a fight.

The man whispered to carsaid "follow me and dont make a sound". He followed the man around the corner. The men who were chasing the miller they have come for something that i have brought here. The man handed a small silver stone to carsaib. He then muttered "my name is syrianna, I need your help" Carsaib stood facing the man with a wierd exspresion on his face. Carsaib scowled and asked " what could i possibly do for you?". The man then suddenly walked off. Carsaib couldn't just watch him leave so he followed.

IC- Carsaib followed the man with a bemused expression. The miller was a better fighter than he thought to have killed all those men, Carsaib had to find him quickly. He turned round a corner out of site and looked where the man had gone, his suspicion started to occur and he wondered what this mans intentions really were. He felt in his pocket at the strange silver stone, he had seen nothing like it and couldnt help but think it was some kind of dangerous magic. He looked around once more before whispering through the darkness. "Where are you?"

OOC- Okay then, is the stone a dragon egg? And please please dont go too far ahead of me in this topic. If a member hasnt posted in a while then wait for them to reply before continuing.

OOC- yes the stone is a dragon egg but magic has been used on it that must be countered

IC- Carsaib reached slowly for his pocket where a knife was, once there he held it tight and kept it hidden. "Why have you been watching me, what have I done now?" He hadn't been in Therinsford long but he knew easy ways to escape because of the erratic building of it, it would be all too easy to escape if he had to.

"I sensed your magical energy all the way from du weldenvarden. You have a great power locked within you. I beleive you are the only one who can save us."

Carsaib laughed slightly, "I have very little magical energy. I can only do the weakest of spells, the gift wasn't so kind with me and I have erratic success results at best."

Carsaib jerked his hands back, dropping the egg to the ground. "I don't want a dragon, my life is dangerous enough without the Empire or Varden or both after me!" He started rubbing his hands against his clothes, as if to get rid of the dragon's presence.

IC- Syrianna picked up the priceless dragon egg. He walked over to carsaib and spoke softly to him. "you must accept that thid dragon wants you to be its rider. This is a special gift that noone can turn away."Syrianna handed the egg back to carsaib. As he did the egg began to grow rapidly, all the time glowing in wild colours.

Carsaib tried to drop the egg again but some strange force stopped him, he kept trying untill he got so mad he threw it and it hit a wall, smashing and sending shards everywhere. From the debris, in the middle of a bustling village, crawled a squaking, smoking dragon.

IC- Syrianna stood, amazed at what had just happened. "the dragon has hachted somehow and you gave it a helping hand. You have no choice but to care for this dragon. Quickly take it and we shall run to your home. There we can conceil it for a short while."So they ran to the house.

Carsaib refused to touch the dragon with his bare hands, he didnt want a terrible mark. Once in his room, he bolted the door and threw the dragon onto the bed before turning on the man. "Why did you do this? I don't want this dragon and you can't do anything about that!"

"But what you dont realise carsaib is that you cannot get rid of this dragon. You and this dragon are now bonded and nothing you can do can break that bond. I am truly sorry but i had to do this. It is your destiny.
