The Night Angel Trilogy - Brent Weeks
The perfect killer has no friends. Only targets.
I looked, but I found nothing but a little trace of the amazing author Brent Weeks! Brent Weeks wrote the astonishing Night Angel Trilogy.
BOOK #1: The Way of Shadows BOOK #2: Shadow's Edge BOOK #3: Beyond The Shadows
For Durzo Blint, assassination is an art. And he is the city’s most accomplished artist, his talents required from alleyway to courtly boudoir.
For Azoth, survival is precarious. Something you never take for granted. As a guild rat, he’s grown up in the slums, and learned the hard way to judge people quickly — and to take risks. Risks like apprenticing himself to Durzo Blint in the assassination business; where assassins are called Wetboys and the targets are called Deaders.
But to be accepted, Azoth must turn his back on his old life and embrace a new identity and name. As Kylar Stern, he must learn to navigate the assassins’ world of dangerous politics and strange magics — and cultivate a flair for death. He'll induce perilous adventures, encountering Vürdmeisters using their Vir, Magi and Magus using their magic, Ka'karifers wielding their Ka'Kari, the Highking, the God king, and even the Sa'Kage criminal underworld of underground Midcyru.
Question is: Can he balance the world of assassins while juggling his love for Elene Cromwyll without hurting the people he cares for and himself?
It's an amazing book, with an amazing plot and astounding characters. If you haven't yet read The Night Angel Trilogy, it's a highly suggested read.
So, have you read this series? Give your comments and opinions!

I read The Way of Shadows on the plane ride back from Washington DC last month and let me just say, I LOVED it! You have no idea how many times I almost screamed in shock or almost started crying. Now.... just to get to the bookstore and make good use of that gift card.

I went so far as to theme an entire society in my RPs based around the Wetboys. This is one of my all time favourite series and definitely one of the biggest inspirations in my own writing so did you get the otherseragon+arya?

I do indeed have the others! I'm only halfway through Shadow's Edge though due to my consistently reading about ten books at a time. And school.
