Post Phantom Stallion or Wild Horse Island
I can't seem to find anyone who has read the Phantom Stallion series or has started to. The series is by Terri Farley. There is also what I call a sub-series called Phantom Stallion Wild Horse Island. I can't find anybody who is reading it either. So if you have read either of these series or currently are reading them, please tell me so we can discuss them.
I'm waitng on Phantom Stallion Wild Horse Island #12 to be published, if there is going to be one.

Post Re: Phantom Stallion or Wild Horse Island
OK. Well in the original series, Phantom Stallion, Samantha Ann Forster was kicked in the head by a galloping horse, her galloping horse Blackie a.k.a. the Phantom Stallion of Northern Nevada. She was sent away to San Francisco to live with her aunt until her dad said it was safe to come back home. Her dad let her come back home to the horses she loves and longed for. Blackie hasn't returned since the accident and no one has seen and signs of the swift two-year-old. Then the night that she retuns, a pale silver-dappled horse appears on the other side of the La Charla River, the river that River Bend Ranch got its name from. She talks to the wild horse and soon realizes it's her Blackie all grown up! So she croons to it and calls him Zanzibar, the secret name she had, has, for him. The Phantom helps Sam through many other incidents that are contained within the 24 books of the series.
The other series, subseries as I call it, Phantom Stallion Wild Horse Island begins where a girl named Darby that went to a Camp back in Nevada in the 24th book and rescued a young filly, whom she later names Hoku, whom she brings to her grandfather's ranch in Hawaii. (Her grandfather's name is Jonah and the ranch is called Iolani Ranch.) Hoku and Darby go on many adventures throught out the series, SO FAR. I don't THINK Terri is done writng the subseries but I'm not for sure.
That is as much of an explanation I can give without telling the endings and other important information that readers find out in the books.

OK, it has been at least a month since anyone has responded on this topic so I'll add this little bit to get it back on the first page.
