Would the Ra'zacs still had found him in Dras-Leona if he had not went in the Cathedral or would they have found him an other way? Would the Ra'zacs have died if Brom and Eragon had got to where they wanted?

i don't kno i've never thought of it that way but i think if the ra'zac found him @ the cathedral then they probly would find him if he were sum where eles

I don't think it turned out for the best Brom died because of it and he was awesome.

I think Eragon still would have lost Brom but he would have learned more and been more prepared. to find the Varden

well if he DIDNT go to the catherdal he and Brom might of found the Ra'zac first and THEN attacked Not run away and then get damaged

As soon as I read That Eragon was entering the cathedral, a sense of foreboding took over me.
I did not think he would encounter the Ra'zac, but I certainly felt he was walking into the lion's den.

If they would not have found him there, they have would continue to pursue him, no matter what.

In this case, it was Brom who alerted their presence in Dras-Leona with his inquiries at the castle.
