 Hatana: The city of the dead" Why have we come here?" Reb asked Star Gazer.
" I wan't to see for myself the place you live, before I let you live there any longer." Star Gazer growled. " Boy, you sure are over protective." Reb groaned. " Hush young one. I will not have you living in fear for your life every day." Star Gazer warned. " Oh and that guy dragon you live with is a sweet little thing." Reb said with sarcasm. She walked out of the bushes they had been hiding in and mounted her fire steed. His mane and tail lit to fire, and he cantered up the road. Star Gazer warned Reb, but Reb wouldn't listen. Cobalt snorted as Reb's ghostly wolves ran up beside her. It was night and the moon shone bright. Zantya took over. Red light surounded Reb and when it disapeared she had red streaks in her brown hair, blue and red eyes, and was wearing a pair of shorts with a skirt over them, and a long flowy shirt with skulls on it. Her entire wardrobe was red. Her wolves took on a redish tent. As the night went on around them, all who saw them fled. This was the city of the dead. Verna spotted someone in the distance. With curiosity she and her black wolf approached the group.
Are you sure this is a good idea? They look hostile to me with red glowing…. asked Fangoth. I’m sure that they won’t harm us. Are you now Fangoth the cowardly? taunted Verna. Verna tightened her grip on Leafagas and went towards the woman. Her fears strenghened makeing her nervous. "Ma'am, where are am I at?" Verna dared to ask the woman. A league or so away, Erelnest saw a bright red light, although small, and headed towards it. Verminard had been guiding them with glimpses of memories from birds they passed, but now they were lost. The birds had stopped coming.
What do you think? asked Erelnest. The pure white dragon convulsed with exhaustion from their flight, but it was nesercery to escape what they had come from. Putting those haunting thoughts away, Verminard Pondered the question. hmmm, I think we'd be safe. I know you are weary, but if they are hostile, I'm sure I can sort them out. With a roar, Erelnest twisted suddenly, and dived out of the clouds. Leveling off as the ground rushed up to meet them, Verminard fingered his sword handle lovingly. Urucàs had served him well. The pure white blade was an unnatural sort of metal. It had been sung together from various compounds, bringing with it the strength of the earth, air, water and fire. Just one example of it's properties from the air was, on a sunny day, any reflected light beaming towards an enemy from the sun would multiply tenfold if the user wanted it to. This was a huge advantage, as many an enemy had met it's end not knowing what had hit them. They were close now, and they could make out figures in the dark. Although he was an Elf, and could see in the dark, in this strange land the nights were as black as pitch, and it was difficult, even if he and Erelnest merged their beings, to see when there was an absence of sun. Flying up behind the wolves and the glowing red figure, Erelnest rushed overhead, being considerate enough to glide for a few seconds when he was over the newcomer, so as not to buffet them with the blasts of air from under his wings. About 100 metres further on, Verminard and Erelnest landed. Now he saw why the figure glowed red. Partly because the horse that cantered towards them, faster than any normal horse could, had eyes of fire, glowing red and crazed in the night. It's mane was lit up, and it's tail cracked like firey whip as the horse shied up and rose to it's back legs, whinying all the while, in a dreadful high pitched noise. The rider dismounted quickly, landing lithe and cat-like on the ground. It was a shade. The fabled shade Zabtya. The only shade spirit that shared a human body with a young dragon rider named Reb. This being was powerful. She was a descendatn of Illidan Himself. Treading wisely was a good option. Speak to her, tell her we do not wish her or her Dragon harm After Verminard had repeated the greetings, the Shade eyed him with contempt, then acceptance. Even as the watched, her dragon landed behind them, proud and erect, obviously putting on a show to make his presence know. Erelnest exchanged a few words with it, and then murmered deep in his throat with acceptance. "Reb. Or do I call you Zaynta? Either way, your presence here is a welcome site, and I wish you many graces from the Nine. Re: Hatana: The city of the dead The night all around, Zantya felt at home. She had to hold back a laugh at the glare Star Gazer gave the other dragon. " I suppose you don't like him?" She asked aloud, and Star snorted. Zantya kicked Cobalt and he lunged forwards.
