well, this is if your school has a uniform to begin with. Anyway, today was a non-uniform day, and you could either come in you own clothes or fancy dress.

Of course, most people came in their own clothes, but a guy in my class came in his pyjamas. Another came in a huge pepperami suit (so funny!!!) and somebody wore a pink dressing gown and shower cap. One guy even dressed as a girl...

you have the coolest school ever lol, I need to move to England so I can wear all my spikes braclets and collars! (I'm sooo Goth )

haha, I wore my pink & black wristband and my amazing bracelet which I made out of a bike chain lol. Well, technically, it's just a bike chain with a bracelet clip on it... but it works.

And, at break, this guy was in his pepperami suit, and it come nearly to his ankles, so he kind of waddled instead of walked. Someone yelled "bundle the pepperami!" so the pepperami guy runs around the field with half the boys trying to rugby tackle him. It was like something out of a weird dream rotfl

I love Rugby! I want to chase him lol.

this school year ( ive just broken up) we only had 1 non uniform day cos the head is so annoying and in love with the uniform and she makes us tuck our blouses in that look better not tucked in
and that day was at the end of the year, the last one we had before was during an injection

same here Especially the tucking in blouses thing- I don't get the point if they look better untucked lol oh well...

Pfft, the teachers always tell me that my shirts too long an I need to tuck it in. I never do it tho, it makes u look stupid.

winter : navy blazer, stripy tie, blue light sleeved blouse, navy skirt ,tights, school jumper
summer: navy blazer , open-necked short-sleeved blouse, navy skirt ,white ankle socks
im in the senior only school miles around who can't wear trousers
seriously the head is in love with the uniform and makes us wear our blazers most of the time
its terrible especailly in the summer, and worst of all the little year 7s have to come in in winter uniform, in september
its even funnier when they come in and they have bought uniform from the school, because then its the wrong size

haha- they change the uniform so now the years 7s are wearing the new one, and years 8,9,10 & 11 keep the old one. It means everyone knows who is a year 7 lol because of the blazer and tie

the funniest thing that ever happened in a non uniform day was when someone asked to open a window, and the teacher repiled that it may help to take the bear off first

lol I asked why the pepperami guy had a box of maltesers today, and my friend goes "probably because he won that fashion-show thing" and she meant fancy-dress thing lol

apart from loving the uniform, the head has a thing against denim , bare sholders and bare midriffs. <- how i laughed when i first saw that

i wish that you could wear anything that you wanted to. i would wear a stormtrooper suit to school. and if one day i felt like bieng bat man, go for it. you wank in class one day wearing a batman costume and your teacher says " who are you? " and you stand their like, " what is wrong with this woman!? she has never seen batman? " then you say, " im batman!. who are you? " as if she might be waering some sort of costume. this itch bringing me to another topic for discoution. school rules the suck! i tried the other day to go to the bathroom after a test. i wiated patiently and i asked the teacher with my bladder about to explode, " may i use the resteroom?" he took his time and said. ".....No. go sit down. " i was furious. " what? " and he says " no. go sit down" " but i realy realy realy have to go." then he says with a hint of consideration in his eye, " NO! " and so i was left their with two options. go were i stood and become humiliated, or, do ther better mans thing and walk out the door. and so i walked out the door. i was so cool. and so it has become a rule that you can only go between lunch pireods. does this make sence? i didnt think so.

at my school i can wear what ever i want. It rocks altough i hate the principal.

There's not uniforms in most places. Just here it seems- back in uniform on monday for us.

why do people insist on useing uniforms? it does absolutly nothing to improve education or behavyour.

No uniforms, but I would of had to worn one if my family had moved to Ireland.

Well, here ain't any uniforms...still if you look at some boys in our class or girls from other classes...it would be better if we would have them. If you wear an uniform you can't wear something expensive or cheap, and on some way it helps you to fit in. At least I think that (my english teacher said that on some point I have right.).

Still I don't know cause I never had to wear it.

We don't have uniforms here in Germany, but I had to wear one in Australia. At first I thought it would really really suck, but I got used to it after a while. It is not as bad as I imagined it to be. What is really bad about most uniforms is that they are extremly ugly. Why can't the school just have jeans and a jumper or a t-shirt as uniform. That would be way more comfortable.

Something to do with a smart reputation I guess. And I've just discovered my school trousers go well with my new black top lol

iv been wearin uniforms all my life, and, without being snobbish, i go 2 shrewsbury school, one of the oldest and most well know schools in the country, darwin went 2 school there. and micheal palin. thats how famous it is lol. but honestly, its a great school and... its impossible 2 put in2 words just how cool it is

plus, we make everything we wear look good (soz, got 2 go, my butler says he needs us to go and entertain the visitors)

At my old school which was public we had to wear uniforms.

my school doesn't have uniforms exept in bamd but that doesn't really count. I'm not sure if its different in different countries but is it normally privet schools that have uniformes or not.

Math, Science, History, Theory, Ethixs, Logic, Spelling,.... if i thought about im sure there are more, lol
Math and spelling arent reading of course, and i have to write with my science too (tests ect.)

As well has having your house as your classroom, PJ's and socks as your uniform, you get to do school on the computer. That is very lucky.

At my old public school we had to wear a uniform aswell. I know how you feel.
Uniforms are annoying. Only on thursdays and fridays at school are we allowed to waer our sports uniform which is a lot comfier than our normal one. on those two days we have sport. Our normal uniform is very hot and very tight around the middle.

Well at my school if any boy's hair toucjes his collar its detention. The only time when that doesn't apply is on non-uniform days.

Lol, luckily the teachers don't check us often or else a lot of my friends and me (last week, I had a haircut) would have detentions aswell.

Also at my school if you wear the wrong uniform for more than 3 days of a term you get an afternoon detention which happens after school. I have never actually had detention which is lucky.

if it has to be a detention for waering the wrong uniform, i think it should be in lunchtimes, not after school.

lol, that's silly. Why would a teacher give you detention for forgetting your homework? At my school if you forget your homework once they give you a warning, he second time its also warning - the third time its detention.

The color of my uniform is black-grey pants with a white shirt with verticle maroon and blue tiny stripes.

We also have to wear black shoes (not ones that are good for doing sport in) and on sports days we wear white running shoes, soft black shorts and a maroon and yellow shirt with three horizental black stripes in the middle. More stripes.
