 re: i do with every legend, with every story, a hero or the hero always experiences pain. some form of death passes him by. look at harry potter, he almost died to kill voldemort, he risked death, look at the legend of huma, huma died to stop the queen of darkness from ruling krynn. even look at eragon, brom died to save him from the ra'zac, and in book 2 only galbatorixs wanting saphira stoped the magicans from trying to kill him.
