Nix looked up at the knight's cold eyes. Beside him his sister,Alox, glared at the knight. Firmly Sir Lagen said,"Nix did not fight good enough to have a chance to get Dragon." "Alox, he's not going to change his mind lets go," Nix begged. Huffing, Alox stomped off. She might be 5 years older than him but, she had a sharp temper that got the better of her a lot. Nix was the only one who could clam her down. After giving Sir Lagen an apology, Nix ran off to find his sister.
"Go to the West Tower on the Wall you can see it from there,"Alox said. She was bound to get him in trouble but, she had her heart set on him watching her become a Dragon Knight.
"One problem,"Nix said,"It will be crawling with guards."
"So sneak in."
"But..."
Alox cut him off, "Your going to watch and that is it"
Nix knew that there he could change her mind. He was scared.Attacks on that side of the Wall where growing more common everyday.The Shadow Armies were coming to take the Kingdom.Goblins, orcs, and giants had already attacked. What if an attack came tonight?
Nix watch as the old Dragon Knights gather around the 12 new knights who would take the place of them as the defenders of of the Kingdom.One of the elder knight said,"Once the Chant of Dragons begins no one can move out of the circle we make."
In The middle of the chant a bone chilling cry came from nowhere. Nix looked up.What he saw made him shutter. Two huge bird like things land on the wall. They dropped off a load of goblins.
Nix drew his katana from it's sheath.Moving as quietly as possible Nix made his way to the goblins. Nix made out two mages and ten warriors. There was no way out of the tower without running in to the goblins. He took a chance. He snuck up behind the nearest goblins. He struck. The gob was dead before it hit the ground. The other eleven were watching the chant.
Nix formed a plan. There were lots of barrels in the tower. He could role one and take a couple gobs at once .
He kicked the barrel. As the as barrel thundered toward the goblins, the mages cast a spell that looked like it would shield only them . The barrel hit the goblin warriors knocking the first down. The others tumbled down like dominoes.
Nix hefted the katana. Running he slashed at the goblins on the ground. Blood covered the ground after his sweep.
Turning his focus to the closer mage, Nix jumped. Both hands on the hilt, Nix brought the katana down on the goblin mage. The mage fell.
Nix was already running to the next mage. The mage was gathering some sort of energy in front of it. As Nix jumped the ball of energy had grown almost the size of Nix. The katana hit the ball. Sending Nix flying. The last thing he saw was Alox and the 11 other Dragon Knights standing over him the Chant of Dragons still going. He realized he hit the ground in the circle of the old Dragon Knights.then everything went black.

Nix awoke with a start." Easy Nix." Nix's eye fluttered open. Alox was beside the bed he laid on. A quick look around the room told him that he was not in the troop quarters anymore.He look at Alox,"First how long have i been out and where are we."
Alox's answer stunned him " We're in the Castle of the Dragons, the Dragons Knights' new home... And you've been out for three days."
"The Castle of the Dragons so that means we are out side the borders of Flamestar(The kingdom)."
Alox nodded her head. She here self had only been out of the borders once and that was pushing back a small army of Shadow spawn imagining waking up after get thrown back off of at wall by dark magic sent shivers down her spine." Nix, I have some people I'd you to meet."
Happy to get up Nix sat up on his bed. Stiffly he got up he was in the tattered cloths he had been in the night of the fight."Yeah, but it might help if I got some better wardrobe."
"Oh yeah, there are some in the closet" Alox blushed at not noticing it sooner.
Nix examined his sister he could see that something was wrong but, he could not tell what it was." What's wrong?" He asked
"Huh. Oh,uh, nothing."
"C'mon, what's up."
Alox suddenly burst out sobbing.She got up and ran out the door.
"Wait ,Alox, Wait!"
Nix ran after her. As soon as he got in to the hall he stopped dead.
The halls were covered with dust. No one but a solder stood out in the hall.
"Get back in the room, prisoner."
Chapter 3
"What, Prisoner?"
" Yes, now get back in your cell."
" Make me." Nix was mad.
The guard drew his sword. Nix kicked him in the gut. then kicked the man's head. He push the man in to the room the he had been in. Then he grabbed the guys sword. He ran down the hall.
Two guards at the end of the dusty hall blocked Nix way. Nix lunged at them. In a whirlwind of metal the guards fell.
Nix ran down in to the main hall. Somehow he know that's what it was because Alox and all the other Dragon Knights were. Sadly with blades drawn and dragon companions Ready for him
Alox had a sad expression on her face but had her sword drawn like the rest of them.
In front of the group an old man was there. " Young one, I am sorry for your confusion and since Alox has not told you of your position here."
Nix didn't care how much real care came form the mans voice. " I Already know I'm a slave" Nix spat the word out with hate.
" I know that is what you think but....."
" Save it" Nix yelled. Storming to the palace door
"I'm afraid you can't leave" the old man said, " detain him please"
The eldest of the new Riders rushed for him blade drawn.Nix parried the blow and launched an attack in to his enemies leg the knight dodged and hit Nix in the side of his stomach. With a inner force Nix shape shifted in to a huge Timber Wolf
"Hmmm" the old knight said with interest, " That is a power not seen for many years."
Then nix change back in to a 13 year old boy and blacked out

Ok it has been a while so here's chapter 4


It was dark and cold. Oh Great Nix thought I'm somewhere deep down in the dungeon, right?. Nix got up off the cold floor. What had he done. Had that been the power of the darkness or had it been a gift from the Light? His eyes adjusted to the dark he saw a gate. Shouldn't be to hard to get out of Nix thought. He let the strange power in to him. Just a trickle. He changed it to a mouse. Nix scampered out the gate then changed back to his normal form.
Nix looked for the light of a candle.He saw light coming in thought another Gate. He changed in to a mouse again and scampered through he gate.
There was the Knight that he had slashed fully healed. Nix looked around the room he saw a weapon rack with a sword on it. He moved over to the rack, then change to him the knight jumped out of his skin when Nix showed up.
Nix grabbed the blade.He hit the knight with the broad of the blade the knight fell Nix ran up the stairs.
End of chapter 4
Alox heard a yell from further down in the prison. The other riders were on their way well at least she know her brother would have food and water
everyday while he was in prison.
Nix ran up the stairs out of the prison. The Riders had run down to the prison stairs just as he had changed to mouse form. He had run up the stairs. He was almost out then BOOM. He had run in to Alox. he got up and ran with all the fear of her and the Rider and the will to get out of the prison.
"I'm Sorry," he shouted over his shoulder
He burst out the gates of the palace and ran until he found a cave it was not deep just a small shelter. He fell asleep on the worn cold cave floor.

Nix awoke stiff as a board. Getting up to his feet he wondered if any one had found. He walked out of the hole, And really wished he hadn't. Alox sword was at his throat as soon as he came out.
" Fricai onr eka eddyr ( i am your friend). Alox removed the blade and lead him to her dragon." Her Dragon was silver . She's big enough to carry us both to the castle."
"She doesn't have to I'll fly"
Alox looked at him puzzled. then she remembered what he could do."how do I know you won't fly off ?"
"You got magic and a bow."
Nix ran and leaped off the edge of the canyon.He shifted in mid-air.
Alox saw a black bird come up out of the canyon. It flew strait toward the castle. Then realizing it was Nix she mounted Arget. They flew off after him.

Chapter 7
Upon reaching the castle, Nix landed on a hill on the outskirts. hoping they hadn't posted sentinels he morphed back to himself.Sadly the sentries had seen him and shot arrows magically imbued with fire.
Nix rushed to the next rock formation changed into a bird and flew to the nearest tower .
In the tower was a small dusty study. On the far side the was an old desk and a book shelf. On the side near the window was a bed no one had been here in year yet it was very tidy. Nix saw that there was no way to get in from out here so he wait for Alox to find him.
Alox spotted him through Arget's sight. She called out to Nix mind and whispered," Fethrblaka, eka weohnata neiat haina ono. blka eom iet lam (Bird,I will not harm you. Flap to my hand.)
Nix flew over to Alox. Arget landed in the in the back courtyard of the Dragon Castle.
Five other Knights rushed up to Alox. Two look to be twins. They had the same features lean with strong, fit builds. They both had long black hair. The only difference that Nix could see is that one carried a bow and a knife big enough to be called a short sword. The other carried a great sword, that looked like could cut an orc in half.
The other young man had a tall muscular build. He had a War hammer.
The one of the girls of the party wore a rapier on her hip. The other a Manriki Chain.
" Did you find him , Alox?" The muscly asked
" Yes, I did "
" Where is he " He asked
Nix Shifted " Right Here" Nix said
