Falayna Da'na
I've been on a couple of RPs before, and I've altered my main character to fit the Alagaesian theme. I've noticed that alot of people are lacking on personality and history, please tell me if I have enough!
Name: Falayna Da’na Age: 21 years Gender: female Skills: Assassin - swordplay, archery, deception, knowledge of poisons, magic Race: human Hair: dark brown, curly, short (ends at her chin) Eyes: jade green Home Village: Kuasta Parents: Helene (mother), who is a housewife and Quintance (father), who is a blacksmith Siblings: Leland (sister, 23), who is married in Kuasta and Wilhelmina (sister, 19), who works in Tierm at a tavern
Character Personality: Falayna is witty, strong, and intelligent. She is very sociable and enjoys human company. She is rarely sensitive, and takes nothing to heart. She does not hold grudges. She is often very serious, especially when on a job. She is very determined. She can speak very well, like a noble lady, although she was born poor. She is well read and learnt. She is very confident. She values her own life above anyone else’s, and does not mind killing or death. She loves very strongly, but not very often. She is not very trustful, but enjoys having good friends.
Character History: Helene and Quintance Da’na lived in the isolated town of Kuasta, where they were eventually married. They had three daughters, Leland, Falayna, and Wilhelmina. As Falayna grew older, she was taught archery and swordplay. Eventually she left home to seek her fortune. In the town of Gil’ead, she met an old sorceress, who taught her how to connect with the magic around her. She was a taught a few words of the Ancient Language, but was not an exceptional magician. Later, she was taught the arts of assassination. She was hired to kill key people, and eventually, King Galbatorix heard of her accuracy and swiftness in this occupation. He began to hire her to kill members of the resistances against him. She was a member of the Black Hand for some time, working in Surda, before she returned to Urû’baen. There, she honed her skills with poisons and daggers, which made her even more deadly than she had been as a member of the Black Hand. Galbatorix himself taught her several low-energy killing spells. She trained in the capital for four more years, and on her twentieth birthday, she was given a new assignment. She was to kill King Orrin of Surda. Confidant in her abilities to bewitch men with her beauty and charms, she quickly set out on her black charger, Jesmond. After traveling for weeks, she arrived in the Surdan city of Cithrí. There, she was looked upon strangely, and held under great suspicion. Then she heard the news: The Black Hand had been caught, and the Varden’s Magicians had seen her image. Worried beyond reason, Falayna fled Surda on Jesmond and traveled deep into the Hadarac Desert, where she hid for nearly a year, fearing Galbatorix’s punishment. Later, she felt confident enough to come out of hiding, and began taking small jobs once more. She worked in small villages and towns, mainly taking revenge for sullied business transactions and blood feuds.
Weapons: A bronze scimitar, engraved with a rose and a snake, which is Falayna’s personal symbol. Various knives and daggers hand at her waist. She keeps many different poisons with her. A redwood bow, and a quiver of arrows, which end in the feathers of Egyptian Geese. A staff made of redwood, which has a carved rose and snake and the top, as well as an emerald, for storing energy. Likes: flowers, nature, lakes, friendship, animals, horses, snakes, dragons, luxury Dislikes: anger, the unnecessary, brutality, savagery Animal Companions: Jesmond, a black Arabian mare, and Askavian, a red-tailed hawk
Character's Physical Description: Falayna is 5’3’’, and very slim. She had tanned skin and short, curly brown hair. Her eyes were jade green, deep, and enchanting, her best feature. She has a small nose and curved red lips. She took care of her appearance, as her deception was half of her job. She wore a short tunic of forest green, over which she draped a dark brown skirt that ended before her knees. Under these, she wore tight beige leggings and tall brown leather boots. Her tunic’s sleeves ended at her elbows, and over the rest of her arms she wore dark brown gloves. Her tunic was hooded and she also wore a short, forest green cape that ended just above her waist. Her hair is held back with a green ribbon. She also had a brown facemask which covers her entire face, save for her eyes. A thick brown belt laden with daggers, knives and jars of poison hung sideways on her waist. She carried a brown leather pack with various necessities within it.
Dreams for the Future: To go back to her job with Galbatorix and finally kill King Orrin Reason for Dreams: Galbatorix paid well and took care of her, and she’s heard Orrin is a fool. Alignment/side: Galbatorix, although she does not particularly like him. She feels no loyalty towards him and only works for him because he paid well.
This is a scimitar, much like Falayna's
