Razel saw the paper that day, she knew she woulden't get anything if she tryed but she thought of going for the fun of it she tied on her sword readied food,water and a sleeping bag and set off

it's about a dragon egg found in palancar valley and people are being optimistic and thinking they can become a rider sp they go searching for more eggs

Katrina saw the girl Razel leaving, knowing excitement would follow, she tagged along. Loping around behind her she mewed and did her best to look pretty so she could ride in the girls bag or on her shoulder.

"aren't you cute!" said razel to the cat who was mewing at her, "do you belong to anyone?" she asked hoping the cat could understand her.

I belong to myself, now pick me up! Please?
Katrina said into the girls mind, nuzzling the girls leg for good measure. She mewed again hoping it would help her case. You seem like fun!

just then a drawf called Olfgar walks up and says " Im lost"

We're going adventuring! Katrina mewed. If this girl lets me come... She looked pleadingly at her You should come!

Olfgar says "sure ill come being you are a werecat there is bound to be some action...... and i have only seen one werecat before" then he walks up to Katrina and says" i am a friend" in the ancient language.

Well, I'm half werecat, but I'm pretty young and my mother Maud, she said I needed to see the world. Is this the world? I'm safer in my kitten form, its easier to run from danger than to perform magic, and I don't have any clothes with me at the moment, mother says I talk a lot, sometimes too much, what do you think? Olfgar says" eye you do talk alot and here is some spare clothes(lol) and is your friend asleep?" then he walks to a tree stump and sits down and opens a bottle of mead and takes a swig and askes"want some?"

The girl razel seemed asleep, she had not yet responded. picking up the spare clothes she stepped behind a tree and transformed. At almost seven foot in height she had to spelled the clothes to fight her better.

"My name is Olfgar, im 45 and im a drawf, and nice to meet you." then he steps up and cast a spell on the surronding tree;s to prevent people from seeing or comeing close to katrina's friend and see's the disbeleif on katrina's faces and says " i can use some magic and she is protected, should we start this adventure?......she can catch up with us"

i guess we are going to sleep for a few days huh

A fierce wind swept through the camp were the companions wacthed over their deep sleeping friend. A moment later a huge man garbed in heavy white furs stepped out from behind a tree. "How you all doing. The names Zarek'tekesh, some one told me this was the place to get some adventure."
He looked like a very large man, but if anyone with magic looked they would see the hulking Kull he really was.

"name's Olfgar(drawf) and we are glad to have you along, as long as we can trust you, can you prove to us that you are a worthy to join our group?" who was eyeing Zarek'tekesh, with his hand on his axe.........

Zarec' grinned showing his large teeth " 'Fraid I can little friend, you'll just have to trust me as I'll just have to trust you. Cute kitten." and he sat down to join the wating group.

Olfgar sat there and smoked a pipe while he waited though his eye's never left the kull.

Zarec' just sat their and pulled out a ball, and started bouncing it against a tree whistling. "Dont suppose youd wanna play catch."

"no thankyou" said Olfgar and he sat back and started drinking his mead and smoking on his pipe.

Sraine flys over head, causing the trees to be rustled. There they are Sraine.Said Lcean. Yes but what should we do?? We need that egg for the next Rider!asked Sraine. Ask if we can join them. . Lcean lands. Sraine jumps off and walks up to the group. "Hello!!! I am Sraine. This is Lcean, My Dragon. May we join you on this quest for the Egg? If so, then we must hurry and get out of here. We saw Galbatorix's army coming this way to find the Egg also." Sraine fingers his sword and looks at Lcean. The Dragon nodded her head.

"sure"said razel simply"what a beutiful dragon!""im being silly,we must hurry if the army is on it's way!" with that she started off.

Zarek' stood "Well what are we waiting for ,Olfgar, you'll have to carry the kitten, poor thing fell asleep."

little known was that a shade was following very closly planning on ambushing them and asking them questions, the shades name is Doragin and was interested in wuts going on.

Olfgar pics up the kitten and starts to follow when he stops and says "we arnt alone" and looks off behind them.

Sraine immedietly ask Lcean if she saw, heard, or smelt something. Yes, i smell a body, although i cant make out what it is. Lcean told Sraine. Sraine probed the area with his mind and felt a mind that had strong barriers. "I found something!! It feels like the mind is powerful, I think it coul be a Rider or a Shade. Either of those could give us a hard time. If its a Shade or a Rider, we must get a move on."Said Sraine.

OOC: this is exciting

"i can handle a simple shade" said Olfgar "and i can use magic more then most drawfs, besides there be more of us then them"

"That may be, Olfgar. But you have to remember that the Rider/Shade may be working with Galbatorix's army. He may be more powerful than any of us."said Sraine. " And remember if it is a Rider, that means Sraine and I would try to battle him in the air. But if its a Shade, then all of us will have to use our powers. I suggest we find a safe clearing to camp in. there is one to the north. I can guide all of you there."said Lcean. Sraine jumped on Lcean's back and flew off to see the clearing. " Hold on ill be right back" Sraine said. And he was gone.

OOC: How are we going to find da egg??

Olfgar walked to the edge of camp and gazed into the forest behind them and waited there without saying a word but drawing his axe.......

OOC. i dont know.....

Feeling the wind in his hair, Sraine looked around. He saw The army which was at least 3 days away. Then he saw the clearing which Lcean had seen. "Is that it??" Sraine asked. "Yes it is." replied Lcean. doesnt look that safe, but it will do. even if that Rider/Shade catches up with us. lets go back. said Sraine. with that they started back.
OOC: hmmmm we need more people.

Sunddenly Razel screamed!"GET AWAY FROM ME!!!WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT KNIFE?HELP ME AHH-" and all was silent.

Sraine Heard Razel and tried to contact her. Lcean also tried. They failed. They got back to the camp. They saw Razel on the ground. Sraine ran up and tried to see whats wrong. He realized that the knife she Screamed about was right there, in her stomach. He pulled the knife out and healed her internal and external wounds. " Razel, what happened?" asked Sraine.

Razel was weak but determined in her mind to get strengh to kill the man who just well murderd her?((lol that makes no sense))"I was walkin so we could get a move on and an army man jumped out and stabbed me"

Then all of a sudden a shade jumped out from behind a tree, brandishing a sword as long as him. "drop your wepons and come here slowly, or i will have to resort to magic," the shade said in a smooth persuasive voice.

OOC- must my character kill you and my post quality shame you?

Sraine saw the Shade and pulled out his white sword. "I dont think you really want to be demolished do you?" said Sraine. " Careful Sraine, we dont want to anger him"said Lcean.
Sraine got ready to use magic and called Olfgar for help.

Sraine got on Lcean and made ready his bow. he tried contacting Olfgar again to tell him to get his butt over here to fight. He looked at the Shade.

Razel sundenly (yet silently so no one would notice) filled up with joy inside suprised at how much magic power she now had.

Sraine felt joy emanating from somewhere but didnt know where....

but yet no one knew Olfgar had already felt the Shade and was sneaking up behind him with outstanding stealth.....then Olfagr jumped onto the shades back and said" NOW! ATTACK WHILE I GOT HIM!!!!"
