After galbotorix die roran will be king because he and eragon have the blood of the kings that lived in palancar valley (eragon wont be king cuz he said he didn't want to be king)

I think that would be sweet but i was hopeing Roran would be the next dragon rider... I think (HOLY CRAP I FORGOT HER NAME) that one chick who leads the varden will be the queen because she was leading the varden when she was like 18

Roran maybe strong but he have no experience and not trained also, it still a long way before he could role alagaesia. Beside, maybe true that there will be no king because of the Riders back. After galbatorix defeated with the unity of all species strength elf human dwarf... I think they'll chose the mightiest king of them all and i just think maybe roran wont be the perfect one..

The Varden will rule over the people, Roran is going to be the next Dragon Rider. So farther all the Dragon Riders are in one family, so it will most likely be the same.

Roran has experience from leading Carvahal. And just because someone starts out as a not so impressive dude, it doesn't mean that they can't become something great. Just look at Eragon. Farm boy turned heroic dragon rider. HAIL RORAN AS KING!

Eragon was different because it's all Gedwey Ignasia did it. Roran maybe did leading Carvahal but he's knowledge was to liitle over Alagaesia! You know, Alagaesia = Palancar + Surda + Beor + Western Islands + Ellesmera + Hadarac Desert it's huge and has a very long history to understand before one could rule it.
It's all about capability, not about potential. Potential might be considered, but not when Alagaesia just about to build back their region after the Fall of the Galbatorix, they need a person who "knows it all" and "has it all". Roran... well--he'll need more time.

I don't think that Roran wants to be king. All he wants at the moment is to get his girlfriend back(sorry can't remember her name and my copy of Eldest is with a friend). Maybe if the people want to have him as king he become king, but I don't think he wants that.

...It would be cool if roran was king, i don't think he would become a dragon rider though. He might become like some kind of general in the army or he might die trying to rescue katrina. Sorry my mind was spitting out ideas like mad there for a moment.

I know you're thinking that way because you thought The Riders will thrive again, but if we give some thought... A really HUGE area as Alagaesia with it's content: Surda, Beors, and Empire (I exclude Du Weldenvarden because Elves are exclusive) must have a leader, because eventhough there will be dragon riders, they are small in amount and they can't possibly be everywhere and monitoring every place at once.

A leader is needed, at least for temporary if not for eternity...
