 Symphonic MetalIs anyone else here a fan of symphonic metal? I love the genre because it is basically a mélange of my two favourite types of music: metal and classical music.

Re: Symphonic Metal The only Symphonic Metal band I know of is Within Temptation, and they're really good in my opinion.

The main problem I have with Symphonic Metal is that (in the case of Epica and Nightwish) it lacks any amazing riffs to make it stand out. This is purely an improvement on it though... Yeah, I'm not too keen on Annette either, though if you say that, people will bite your head off and accuse you of being a Tarja fan rather than a Nightwish fan. Have to admit, I generally prefer much heavier stuff now. _________________ . . . . . .
