Wonder how Christopher Paolinin felt about the movie ?

We don't know what the author felt, we aren't him. My advise to you is go looking for interviews and reviews by him.

I don't think he is. Maybe with some but not all.

I can see no reason for him to be happy about the movie

even though it wasnt that good if i were him i would be proud of myself since my book has been made into a movie.

If i ware him i'd be proud that i have written book which is now famous everywhere on Earth but pretty angy because they screwed movie

i read an interview were he said that it was neat seeing how people saw the charactors in their minds... but thats all ive ever heard out of him...

pretned you were him and think how it would feel if your book was good enough to be made into a movie.

I would feel the same....... I liked the way they made Saphira (except for the hair), but they messed up the entire story! I think CP doesn't want to insult anyone by saying he thinks the movie is terrible, but he doesn't like it either, so he just says nothing.

That's what I think. And besides the hair on Saphira, I think they messed the IVORY spikes up. Ivory is white, and she didn't have a white spike on her. And her belly wasn't blue either. That's not a major detail, but she still looked funky because of it.

And she is supposed to look like her scales are saphires.... That is why her name is Saphira... *Hint, Hint, Cough, Cough*

They made her look washed out....
On the other hand they did come up with great pictures for us to put in our sigs and as our avvys.

Yeah, but still... They could have done better. A lot better.

Ryempas is right they did mess up the whole story. And they shoulda' paid better attention to the book.

i dont think he liked it and at times in the move a bet he was like y isnt that person in it or somethin like. so yeah lol.

I didn't see it posted here, so I thought I would share a video I found on YouTube by suvudu. It is from the release of Brisingr in Manhattan and CP answered about what he thought about the movie. The video is almost ten minutes and the questions doesn't come until closer to the end, but it is the first question he is asked. Here is the LINK to the video.

For those that might have a hard time loading the video, like I did, what he pretty much says is that he is amazed the book was turned into a movie, but that the movie is the director's idea of the story, where as the book is the author's idea of the story and he will leave it for the fans to decide which is better.

Again, that is only close to what he said, so please don't quote me, view the video if you can to be sure about what he said exactly.

If I were CP, I would probably be disappointed. They changed alot. I think one of my biggest problems with it, is they cut out alot of Eragons training, and that they had Arya awake the whole time and she couldn't do magic. What are they going to do if they make a movie of Eldest and Brisinger? She uses all kinds of magic then, all the elves do! They made a well of trouble when (and if) they make the next movie.
