Personality:
Voenth is a very distant elf; he is distant because of the many friends he has lost and his long years of torture. He is quick to anger when he or his kind is disrespected. He is kind to he needy and poor. He has some hard feelings toward humankind, mainly because in his mind it was humans who caused the downfall of dragon riders. Voenth loves dragons and elves with a passion. He is quick to defend them with all of his body. He prefers peace to violence. He loves to sing in the forests, although it has been a long time since he has been able to. Voenth has great hate toward Galbatorix and his minions, and he will stop at nothing to erase the world of Galbatorix and his evil. Voenth believes that the strong will survive and the weak will eventually fall no matter what anyone does, but that doesn’t stop him from doing what he feels is right. He is brutally honest. Voenth is a very sad character. He many times seems arrogant but it really his knowledge that seems that way, he many times acts like he is better than he really is, because he feels that he isn't whole because of the tragic death of his dragon.


Character History:
Voenth has no recollection of where he came from of whom he came from. He was found on the shores of Voengard. The rider who found him brought him to the city of Doru Areaba. He was raised ad taught there. He loved the riders and all they did, he respected the fact that they defended the land and all who were in it. When he was of age he they presented a dragon egg to him. When the dragon egg hatched it was a dark blue color, he named it Bascth. Voenth and Bascth completed one another; they loved each other with all their heart. Over time they went up the ranks of the dragon riders doing quests, and eventually got to become elders. Many years later Voenth and Bascth suspected treachery, so they hid Bascth's Heart of Hearts in the mountains of Voengard. Only a few years later Galbatorix and his forsworn came and attacked Doru Areaba in the battle Bascth was killed defending Voenth, Voenth's heart was broken.

Then Voenth was captured. Voenth was in the prison at Urû'baen for many years until one day a hawk was caught to feed Shruikan; the hawk was lucky enough to get free, and escaped to Voenth's cell. When the Guards came in Voenth attacked, he killed many but was stabbed in the leg by a stray spear; the hawk then attacked the soldier about to kill Voenth with his sword. The hawk distracted the soldier until Voenth could heal himself & kill the soldier, to thank the hawk he blessed it with the ancient language. The hawk, so thankful decided to stay with Voenth and help him escape, when they escaped Voenth went strait to the armory to get his old sword, Let’hjartha (my heart). When he got there he saw another rider's sword he took it and named it Rauthr'gata (misfortune path), it was a black blade that he thought suited himself, after he got out of Urû'baen he started his journey to Doru Areaba.

Some years after his escape, Voenth met up with Anthor again, in the great forest of Du Weldenvarden. He went with Anthor, Kit, Shyara, Shyra, Gornath, and Tialgo for a time, but when he found Braith's egg, he immediately left. He only told Anthor that he was leaving. Over the course of a few weeks, Voenth traversed the Hadarac Desert, most of the Empire, and was in the heart of the Beor Mountains. When he found that Braith was hatching, he quickly went to the isle of Sharktooth, where Anthor and Gornath were building their new home and told them the good news. Gornath agreed to tutor Braith, but as soon as it was to start, Braith was stolen by shades. Voenth searched and searched, but was unable to find Braith until some friends came and helped him. They defeated the shades and Braith resumed his training, but this time he had a friend, a beautiful purple dragon who could shape-shift.

About twenty years later, Braith and Voenth were in the Hadarac Desert relaxing. When the gazelle and other animals began to stampede away form the area, they went to investigate. Braith and Voenth got separated and they barely, with the help of Phalynx won, but they did win.

2.15 meters tall, muscled up, wears stark white robe to cover up his ears and to hide his two swords, he has many scars that are proof of his long time in captivity at the hands of Galbatorix and the forsworn, he has a gold band around his left wrist, he has the sign of the rider on his left hand, he has the sign of a friend of the queen on his back.

Dragon Name: -Braith

Age: -34

Gender: -male

Parents: -unknown

History: Braith's egg was laid about 2,000 years ago. Voenth discovered him in an old stump outside the city of Ellesmera. He didn't hatch right off though; he waited a few months before he hatched. He was born with a five-foot wingspan. He hatched for Voenth on the Isle of Sharktooth. When he hatched the first thing he saw was an older looking elf with a happy smile on his face, and he knew that they would be friends for life. He then went with Voenth and his friends to attack Galbatorix, while doing this he learned how to fly. He then went with then to Sharktooth.

When he first got there, he went through his training. But not long into it, he was kidnapped by shades; there he met his future mate, Seren. They escaped the evil shades and fled to a small island that is now their home. Braith and Seren helped each other a lot there and after a few weeks, Voenth, Anthor, Solaree, Phalynx, Andep, Danangon, Aeraldi, and Gornath rescued them.

About twenty years later, Voenth and Braith were in the Hadarac desert. They were relaxing in the heat that both of them loved, when they noticed that the gazelle and other animals native to the area. So they went to investigate. What they saw appalled them. There was a black mountain there that had been somehow created by the darkness. They called for help and who answered their call, Phalynx of course. They worked together and finally stopped the darkness, but only barely. Then, they returned home.

Personality: He is a very headstrong dragon. He works hard and gets in over his head many times. He is very brave, and bold. He loves a good fight, though he has never been in one. He has a curiosity that will astound you. He loves to play and have a good time. He is a good friend and a loving ally. He is loyal to the death, and works his hardest at all times. He is very proud, and sometimes even arrogant. He is a good dragon who always tries to do what is right. He loves to practice his flying, and like all children wants to grow up as fast as possible.

Color: - orange

Appearance: He is a large fully grown dragon that is huge for his age. He is about double the size of Gornath. He is a beautiful orange color with white claws and teeth. He has a huge wingspan, and was almost able to fly at the moment of his birth. He has beautiful white eyes and long, sharp teeth and claws. He is always with Voenth and trusts him with his life. He is normally with his mate, Seren, or his children; Valkaria, Vulcan, and Zelyts.

History: Bascth was killed in the fightign over Doru Areaba. Voenth, his rider was captured by Galbatorix anf the forsworn. Bascth's eldunari was lost for years, until Voenth found him in the blue flame that Bascth had created to protect himself. Ever since Voenth rescued him, Bascth has been with Voenth and has not been away from him. Bascth, with Voent has gotten to know many people and things, such as; Arget'fethr, Voenth's friend and protector, as well as Braith, Gornath, Anthor, and Zelyts. Bascth is always traveling with Voenth and questioning the elf about the many things in his life.

Personality: Bascth is very wise and noble. He is many times very quiet and deep in thought. He normally is thinking about a question, many times one that is extremely tough. He loves riddles and seeing new places. He is very respectful and kind. He rarely leaves Voenth's side. He is always asking questions, though he is old. He is naturally very curious and very nosy. He is very rarely rude and mean to anyone else.

Appearance: He is an eldunari. He is about the size of a large rock and weighs about ten pounds. He is always with Voenth and is either in Voenth's hand, in Voenth's pack, or in the small pouch created by Voenth specifically to hold him.
