Re: what shoes did u wear today? well maybe we should trade places then. i hate snow because its annoying to drive in its not fun to walk in with high heels (that i always wear) and it hurts my arthritis (because of how cold it becomes here) its got like a whole 15 degrees today.

Plus they like to make us tuck in our shirts and do up our top buttons, and the guys have to wear their ties long, which is stupid... We have a new head-teacher too, who is obsessed with the uniform, if you don't have your shirt tucked in he makes you go litter-picking or something equally stupid. Luckily, he's never caught me lol, i hate hate hate tucking in my shirt. Not to mention how completely hideous the uniform is...Oh well, I like to have something to complain about  _________________ . . . . . .

 I just feel extra sorry for the year 7s 8s and 9s, they brought in a new uniform a few years ago, but decided we could carry on wearing our old on. People with the new one have to wear a blazer (yuck- square shoulders XD ) and the girls have to wear a tie too. The year 10s and 11s (me being year 11) get to wear the old one, which is just a stripy shirt/blouse, ties for the boys and black trousers (or a skirt). Oh, and smart shoes... bleh, luckily I'm still getting away with my black trainers  Speaking of tests, I remember once my friend showed up to an important exam without his tie, and they didn't want to let him take the test at first because he wasn't wearing his tie- how petty is that?! _________________ . . . . . .

And we have 6 or 7 years in primary school (depending on what age you start- I did all 7) and primary school can be split up into 3-4 years infant and 3 years junior, then 5 years of secondary school. So um... in total 11 compulsory years minimum, but the government are thinking of putting that up to 13 compulsory years. Then it's off to 2 years of college, or straight to employment... or unemployment lol. At the moment, I'm in my last year of secondary school- just applied for a college last week, finally no more uniform! If I even get in... lol And on the topic of shoes, none at the moment... lol _________________ . . . . . .

I also wore my calf-length, electric-blue Tony Lamas. ...Now that I think about it, I should have went bull-rider style and put my jeans inside my boots. Those black-lights would've made them look awesome.
