Skills: Shape shifting: Ancell can change to many different types of creatures which he uses to his advantage to help him fight. He can only change shapes once every ten minutes. No matter what form he is in, Ancell never gains or loses speed, but his strength level able to change depending on what form he is in. Ancell can only change into creatures without wings.

Race: - Shape shifter. He is usually in the form of a wolf or an elf.

Character Personality:

Ancell is kind and caring to all but his enemies. Ancell tries to convince his enemies to join the Varden, but if they refuse he immediately tries to destroy or capture them. Ancell doesn't like to waste words, but he still enjoys debating topics of interest with others, or having an insult contest with someone else. Ancell is very mature for his age, as he has pretty much been both father, and brother for Anette. Ancell is very protective of his sister, and anyone she sees as a friend, and obeys her as long as he will be able to protect her. Ancell wants to marry someday, but he doesn't want anyone that flocks around him for what he looks like, and therefore he makes no comment when Anette drives women away from him in the ways that she does. Ancell gets amused when he sees others obeying Anette, as she makes them do so in a way that they don't realize they're being treated like a pet until long after. Ancell is firm with his sister, and others, not moving an inch when his sister wants something he believes is dangerous for her. Ancell doesn't have a cold personality, but his face is often hard, giving people the impression that he is. Ancell isn't easily angered or offended - a good thing since he's around his sister so much...

Character History: In a little cave in the Spine there lived a man, and his wife. They often hunted, and gave food to the nearby villages in exchange for cloth, and thread. One day the man had been out hunting, and when he returned home to his little cave he found his wife giving birth to a child. Unfortunately the child did not survive, and the man's wife went into depression. Less than a year later the man's wife died, but not before giving birth to twins. The man brought his two children to one of the villages to be raised until they were weaned, then he brought them back to the Spine where he began to teach them how to shape-shift. The man had never gotten over his wife's death though, and when the twins were three years old, he died, leaving a nameless grave he had dug himself, beside his wife. From that moment on the twins were on their own.

After his father's death, Ancell knew he had to become strong in order to protect himself, and his sister in the wild Spine. Therefore for the next decade he focused on training in fighting. On his thirteenth birthday Ancell decided it was time for him, and his sister to leave the Spine, so they began wandering around Alagaesia. In that time the twins witnessed many horrors inflicted by Galbatorix, and his servants, making them dislike him, and desire to defeat him. At the age of twenty, the twins began to try to leave a name for themselves, so as not to leave behind them a nameless grave.

For the next three years, Ancell fought against Galbatorix on the side of the Varden, in Surda, and decided to continue being their ally, even after leaving them. Ancell decided to help them in other ways, doing a lot from the shadows, hoping - like his sister - to one day to be well known. During the three years Ancell was separated from his twin - they got to see each other once a month, but to Ancell it felt closer to forever between each visit. Anette was working for the Varden in Farthen Dur, while Ancell worked with the Surdan king on behalf of the Varden. At the end of the three years Ancell and Anette resumed traveling together.

Weakness / Fear: - Ancell is afraid of being completely alone. His only weapon is shape-shifting, so fighting can be a little dangerous when he's up against magic, or long range weapon users.

Animal Companions: - none

Character's Physical Description: Ancell is five foot ten, broad shouldered with a well balanced body in elf form. Whatever his form, Ancell's hair/scales/fur is always chocolate brown, and his eyes are always light blue. Ancell is well muscled, often unwanted attention as a warrior when he's trying to hide. Since Ancell is in his wolf form almost as often as his elf form, he is ambidextrous. Ancell and his sister look identical (except for heights, and Anette's wings) when they are in the same form, causing some confusion among people who have only met one when they see the other alone from a distance.

Dreams for the Future: - To be a well known warrior. To find someone to be his special someone.

Reason for Dreams: - Because he doesn't want to die nameless like his parents. Because he wants someone to cherish, and protect besides his sister.
