Equinox flew into a strange part of the Beor Mountains. It was like a gorge, and odd mists were coming from it. He sniffed the air, it smelt odd, and it seemed as if the fumes were getting to his head. He flew a little farther and saw a dragon. He thought he recoinzed it somewhere before, but he looked as if he was going crazy. Equinox went to go see why, until a strange urge went over him, the urge to rin, the urge to tear flesh, the urge to tear Brujoles limb from limb.
Equinox let out a roar of blood thirsty madness. He flew towards Burjoles and let out another roar, blasting a plume of fire his way.

OOC: I will join with Braith or Gornath is Fang joins with Dawn, or Seren, otherwise I am going with Nidhog, for the fact that this sounds like his thing, so what you think fang?

ooc: huh? I wasn't really planning on joining so do whatever you want

OOC: hmm this looks interesting . . . I will join with my dragon character Vindico. If i may?

IC: A mysterious black fog had gotten to Vindico, drawing him in to satisfy his curiousity of what dwelled under the cloak of black. He had gone on his own throughout the desert and mountains for a long time now and traveling on his own was getting boring if not anything else. But as he drew on toward the black fog, and dared to step into it, he heard a roar; a dragon roar it was and he had the talent of picking up presences of friend or foe dragons by their roars. It wasnt long after that he saw Equinox in the sky just inside the cloud. He didnt know what he was fighting, but just as he was about to call to him, something in his mind slowly came to existance; a feeling of something he hadnt felt before. The need to kill. It had to be something and Vindico couldnt figure out what was coming over him. He thought it might be the clouds that swirled around him as he took a couple cautious steps forward. As he saw another dragon in the gorge, that urge came at him full-force, battering all other emotions in his mind to pieces leaving only that urge, that instinct, to kill.

OOC: this is interesting since i'm posting from my Keyboarding 2 class which totally s.u.cks arse. lol

OOC: I've always wanted to have a dragon fight! Anyway, I'll bring in Vulcan. And this is after he leaves his parents. Sort of a time skip for him if you will.

Vulcan glided through the gorge. He sniffed again. Something was strange about this mist. It wasn't natural, that much he knew. It dulled the glint of his brilliant orange scales. As he went deeper and deeper into the gorge a strange feeling came over him. It was the feeling he got when he was threatened. The signal that his powers where about to act up. But Vulcan was not being threatened. It was all very strange. He felt another urge as well. The urge to get out of the accursed place as fast as he could. But the first was stronger. Vulcan had to kill! It was a frenzy moving through his whole being. He not only had to kill, but he wanted to. What was it? The barbaric part of him wanting nothing but to rend flesh? Or was it something worse. Was it the mist? Now the urge drove Vulcan like nothing ever before. He had to kill! As he rounded the next bend the urge grew to a hight he could not ignore. There was a dragon before him, and even though it was much bigger than him, he had to kill it. He roared and flew as fast as he could towards it. His silver claws glowed. His eyes turned red. He had to kill!

OOC: Don't kill the little guy! lol.

OOC: who is Vulcan attacking?

OOC: @Pomfret: He doesn't know since he's never met any of you before so I'll just make him attack your guy.

oh, can I join to? with Ramoth?

OOC: Well that was very descriptive.

Equinox saw more dragons come in, but he did not pay attention to them. He focused on his target in front of him, Brujoles. A snarl came from his throat and he excepted the challenge. He let out a roar, and shot a lightning bolt at him. It missed, but he only did that for distraction. The mists went into Equinox's nostrols and he went into a blood crazy madness. It was odd though, this had never happened to him before, but he did not care, he just wanted every bit of Brujoles dead. He let out another great roar, and flew strait at him.

OOC: Here comes Nidhog!

IC:
Nidhog hd been hunting deen in the Hadarac desert, when his appetite for man left him, he wated something tougher, he wanted a dwarf. He left the hot sands and went to the mountains in search of food. The mountains reminded him of his capture, whih put him in a really bad mood. He continued flying the rest of the day, when he smelled something, it smelled like nothing h had smelled before. He left the dwarven village he had destroyed and went on in search of whatever it was. He saw a large cavern, wher ethere ware several small dragons fighting, some larger than others, but none quite as large an Nidhog himself. Suddenly, the normal bloodlust began to multiply by the thousands in his mind. He let out a huge roar and swept down upon the nearest dragon, it was a female, orange dragon, she was much smaller. He wrapped his huge claws around her and began to try to tear her to pieces.

OOC: Kit, that sounded a lot like Phalynx there, with the whole "she saw the forms with her magic vision" and everything. Could you try to make this power into something more original?

IC: Solarae laughed as she slipped out of the huge black dragon's claws and darted around to the base of his neck. She ran around on his back, hanging her tail-blade down so that it made long furrows in his large scales. His scales were thick and hard, but Solarae's tail-blade was super-sharp, and her best weapon other than fire.

She clambered up his neck and onto his head, biting at his eyes and laughing the whole time. Ha! Too fat to reach me! she taunted. She glanced around and noticed how serious everyone seemed to be about killing and ripping each other apart. Why so serious? she thought, This is fun! With more vigor than ever, she dodged the huge dragon's attempted swipes at her and stayed on his head, whipping her tail around wildly and hitting him with the tail-blade.

OOC: sorry it took me so long to reply, my internet wasnt working for a bit.

IC: Vindico felt the heat of Vulcan's flame in the air around him. But he didnt pay mind to it at all. He roared and plowed through the shifting hell around him and plowed straight into Vulcan digging his foreclaws into his shoulders, attempting to get a hold on him. If he could pin him down, he could finish him off.

By the time Nidhog finally caught the ornage dragon, she had made him bleed, a maitake non before had lived to do again. He grabbed her by the tail, leaving the green dragon a bloodied mass, still living, but at the moment, not an immediate thrat. He hurled the orange dragon and smiled when he heard a loud crack when her head his the side of the gorge. He then pounced upon her and began to draw upon the spirits he held insode of himself and used hs ability, Fire of the Forgotten upon the orange dragon. He was impressed by her speed and strength, but he would never die. He would live to see the land returnto the sea, he would live forever.... He agin attacked the orange dragon, knowing that she was not yet dead, then his left front leg went limp.

OOC: So it dosn't seem all powerful.

OOC: Dude, did I not just say Solarae was dodging his attempts to snatch her? Oh well, no need to edit; I'll work with it. Just be careful of godmodding, voenth.

IC: Solarae hissed when she was flung away. She braced herself for impact, and luckily was only a little dazed when she hit a large flat rock. The rock cracked in two, producing a sound like bone breaking. The huge black dragon towered over her, ready to pounce.

Solarae regained her senses in time to dodge right underneath his belly and under his tail. She gripped its base and climbed up onto his hips where his claws couldn't reach her. He would need to bite her off, but she was ready for that. She was a little singed from his fire, but had escaped whatever magic it had been casting.

Hmph. You think you're so tough. Well, you've got something coming to you! she said, a little annoyed now at his arrogance. She knew she had limits, but Solarae felt she had more than enough ability to work around them. She felt her scales begin to glow red-hot, a product of the adrenaline rushing through her system. She grinned, gripping the black's scales in her claws. Soon he would feel a dragonfire more powerful (compared to size) than any other. Her scales burned hotter until she was glowing nearly white with the heat. The black's scales where she gripped them were starting to burn and singe, but Solarae held still. She would leap away when he lunged at her.

OOC: I am careful, Solaree, is small, she is agile, she is fast, she can do things with fire that are unimagenable, if Nidhog can't get ahold of her, then she cannot be beaten, I have ot god-mod, because she is too powerful, not angry or anything, but letting you know, Nidhog has very well defined limits, he is slow and to an extent ungainly. he makes up for that with muscle, if he cannot get her, then she can easily kil lhim, she has a sharp tailspike that takes out his defence, just aying, I had to god-mod to give Nidhog a chance.

OOC: Oh, I'm sorry if she comes off that way. I was posting in that manner (making her seem very powerful) because she's very arrogant and she thinks she has no limits. She really can't do much actual damage to Nidhog; her tail-blade can only go about six inches into his scales. She's very good at escaping, but like I said, she can't do much damage when she escapes. Again, sorry for making her sound too powerful.

OOC: Sorry for well... you know ... anyway, I thought she was doing serious damage & suce, lolz.

When Vulcan attacked his side, he craned his neck around and sent roaring red fire to get him off. He broke away bleeding, and steaming from the fire but he did not feel much pain. This urge to kill gave him more strength than he normally would have had. "Then we will have to see what WILL take you down then wont we?" Vindico asked evil-like and then made a long leap forward to grapple onto Vulcan's back, clawing to get an equal amount of wounds onto his opponent as he had.

Vindico gritted his teeth as he felt the side of his face begin to bleed. He let it run though heedless of the irritating sting. He bolted left on the ground, running to clear the advantage Vulcan had. Then he leapt into the air, doing a half corkscrew half turn to come about. Now he was in the air with his opponent.

OOC: This is unexpectedly fun!

Vulcan laughed. "Very immpresive." The young dragon perfectly executed a double loop and half turn to end up behind his opponent. He once again breathed fire, but this time with as much force as he could muster. He hoped that it would slow down the dragon so that he could gain higher ground. Vulcan flew strait up. He looked down, saw his target, and dove. A maniacal smile was plastered on his face. His claws were coated in blood. He was happy.

OOC: indeed. there was another RPG not on here, that I was in a dragon fight. it was rather intense. lol

hmmm should we wait for others after this post or after you post again? i'm not sure myself but i thought we might.

IC: Vindico replied quickly, "You too fight well for one such as yourself . . . but your skills still wont save you." with that he leapt skyward, wings out wide to intercept Vulcan. But just as they neared the point of collision, Vindico veered a quick right and raked Vulcan's should creating only a shallow cut. He had pulled away too soon but it was still something to show that he was not one to underestimate.

Instead of crying out in pain, Vulcan laughed. He made a quick loop and once again came up behind Vindico, he took advantage of a rising wind current and rose high above the other dragon. He let Vindico see him start diving to the right, but then he unleashed an inferno and swiched to the left. Vulcan also raked against his opponents side, oppening many wounds, but he had made a big mistake. He had overestimated he distance to the ground! He didn't crash, but he pulled up so close to the surface, that he didn't have enough room or time to maneuver before his enemy was upon him.

OOC: As long as we only include our dragons I think it will be ok.
By the way...be nice to Vulcan! lol.

OOC: Okay, you know what, I'm tired of this crap I'm getting about her ability to see the rough outlines of things so I'm killing it. Individuality is important, just not when you make the person a God above Gods!!

None of the other dragons had apparently seen her as Ramoth dropped in. She looked through the thinner mist at the dragons and immediately picked out Nidhog as her target. The giant black dragon was bigger then her but not much.

She pointed herself toward him and dropped the remaining distance. She grabbed the smaller dragons and flung them into the ground so that she would be the only one fighting. She had witness Nidhog use his Fire of the Forgotten and knew from past experience that it weakened him greatly. She took her tail and drove it down through his and into the ground, locking him in place. She then proceeded to burn the ruby red spikes on his back, turning one pitch black.

OOC: Kit, kit, calm down! That's not what I meant. I just meant you should find a way to be more individual with such a power. I had assumed you would be using it to find out if magic was being used, not to look for things in general. I'm sorry to have upset you!

OOC: @Rider of Death: Oh okay. However, dont expect much mercy. lol you'll get no sympathy from me.

IC: Vindico grutned as he took the new wounds. But then, as Vulcan passed by him, he found a weak point in his flying. He could descend upon him since he had misjudged his height in the air. He dove down quick to avoid loosing his advantage. He plowed into Vulcan's back, planting his foreclaws near his shoulders and then with a heave, he tore a new pair of wounds on Vulcan's back and Vindico pulled back up into the air. But it was then that he heard a voice in his mind, a roar coming before the question. Vindico growled and looked for the one who asked it, finding him higher up on the gorge-side. "Are you looking for a challenger?" Vindico sent this thought to the unknown dragon; he had never seen him before.

OOC: Ok.

Vulcan roared in pain. The new wounds inflicted upon him were great. He suddenly heard a voice in his mind which enraged him even more. He turned his head and sank his teath into Vindico’s flesh. He maneuvered his body into such a position that he could rake his claws against the dragon’s soft belly, and did just that, then he pushed away. Just when he was about to strike again, he felt a wavering in his resolve. He didn’t want to kill Vindico. Suddenly, the wavering passed and the thirst for blood returned. What is going on? He thought. The urge pulled him to attack again, however, and he did just that.

Equinox growled at Brujole and flew up towards him. He flapped his mighty green wings, and soared right at him, and fired off mulitply bolts of lightning. He growled in great pleasure at that. He continued to shoot lightning at Brujole, so much that it seemed as if a storm was coming from Equinox. He roard in mad laughter as he watched the crackleing bolts come from his body.

OOC: @Rider of Death: i quoted from Ike if you didnt know. lol

IC: Vindico's lack of concentration on Vulcan cost him. He staggered back at the new wounds and growled at the dragon above him, arrowing in to attack again. He leapt up into the air to collide head on with Vulcan, this time actually colliding. He once again tried to get a hold on him, biting down on Vulcan's neck just below the skull. But the taste of blood suddenly made him let go before he could do any severe damage. "What am I doing??" he suddenly asked himself, looking at Vulcan. But that question was erased almost as quick as it came. Vindico's urge to kill return. He veered away to Vulcan's right side, flying in a slow circle around him to make a more clever attack next.

OOC: Lol. I just realized that.

Vulcan followed Vindico's every move waiting for an oppening to attack. However, despite this bold front, he was confused. He had never felt this bloodthirsty madness before in his life. What was going on? What was coming over them? Something in the back of his mind told him that it was this accursed gorge. Vulcan didn't like what was going on, but the urge to kill kept taking over. This wasn't right. For a split second he hoped that the mists would lift and that the fighting would cease. Then the thirst for blood overcame him once again.

OOC: Everyone is attacking Nidhog, lolz Solaree, Dzroginion, and Ramoth, lets have something different, its kinda easy to beat one dragon by himself, attack other beings please, no need to edit, but go after someone different after this.
Nidhog laughed as the large gold dragon attacked him, she may be close to his size, but his physical strength was unmatched by any except the great dragon Faefnir and Bahamut. He ripped her tail out of the ground with his owh tail, using his great might, then he attacked the gold dragon ferociously, all the while whipping his mighty tail around in an attempt to knock the orange dragon off. He finally suddeeded. His huge tail smashed into the orange dragon and did litle damage, but knocked her off of his back. He laughed again when the golden dragon attempted to burn though his iron hard scales. He rammed into her and shoved her down onto the hard ground.

Then he saw the small green draogn prepair to use fire on his eye. He jerked his head back and using his momentum, turned a flip and allowed his huge tail spike to catch the green dragon under the chin.

OOC: Actually, Solarae's already been knocked off of Nidhog, voenth, and so has Dzroginion.

IC: Solarae snorted indignantly when she was knocked away from the black dragon. A large golden dragon was attacking him now. Well, that was rude, I was having fun! she muttered to herself. Sense won out over bloodlust, though. Even Solarae wasn't reckless enough to get in between a fight of two huge dragons, especially considering her own size.

Instead, she glanced around for a new target. Ah, how about you? she said, grinning maliciously. An evil gleam flared in her blue eyes as she caught sight of the small green dragon that had also been pushed off the black. She slunk forward, her shoulders low and creeping, and then pounced.

With a snarl and a burst of flame, Solarae leapt onto the green dragon, pulling him down in a tangle of dust and limbs. She clawed as she bowled him over, and then twisted away, landing on the ground facing him. Bring it on, she snarled, her abnormally large canine teeth jutting dangerously over her lower jaw, and catching the gleam from her still red-hot scales.

OOC:I'll do it after Pomfret attacks because I don't feel right posting when Vindico hasn't made his move...

OOC: You mean like this?

Ramoth roared and used her back legs and slashed gashes into Nidhog's underbelly. When he loosened his grip just a little she kicked him hard with both her back legs and threw him off of her. She jumped to the sky and roared to all that could hear, I AM RAMOTH, QUEEN OF THE ARCTIC LANDS.

Ramoth darted back to Nidhog and swung her tail at his head. Her tail end caught him across the cheek and eye and knocked him into the valley wall. Ramoth then turned her attention to the little orange dragon that she had learned from Phalynx, was named Solarae. She was on the ground snarling at another dragon, not paying attention to Ramoth. Ramoth grabbed her by the tail and used as a weapon and threw her into the dragon she knew's name to be Equinox.

OOC: I can do that, I mean Lord of the North, no not Ramoth's north, farther north, lolz. Wow, lolz

IC:
WIth a huge roar, Nidhog told the other dragons who he was. They call me Nidhog, I am the lord of the Northern Mountains! You will pay foy yuor insolence, oh Ramoth. Nidhog roared as he spammed his great weithg into the golden dragon. He leapt upon her and clawed huge deep slashes on her all the while burning her with his fire. He shoved the small green and orange dragons out of the way and said, I shall deal with you when I am done with her! This is a fight for supreamacy!

OOC: Yea, some god-modding, but it was done to me....

Eliza began slashing back at the dragon. And I am ELIZA OF THREE COLORS! She said it as more of a battle cry, and attacked the target once more. Clawing and growling she tried to attack the stomach, blood dripping off her perfectly black scales. She looked at the dragon once again before seeing a dragon she recognized. Solarae? She looked at compassion for the powerful dragon. And then the constant need to kill came back, and she found herself falling through the air.



OOC.:: Silv, hope I wasn't godmodding but there Brujole hit Eliza while she wasn't looking =D

OOC: whoops. my bad. lol

IC: Vindico bared his fangs at Vulcan's tracing him; he was no fool like Vindico had once thought. "No matter." Vindico said to himself dismissively. Then he plowed forward to attack again, flying straight at him and pulling up and away at the last moment, leaving another shallow cut; nothing serious.

Vulcan laughed. Something burned inside of him, and power seemed to be brimming inside of him. The yound dragon grinned. The Ancient Power was about to burst forth. A roar ripped unbidden from his throat. Prepare to see the power of Vulcan son of Braith! Vulcan's claws seemed to grow. His body became as tight as a spring ready to release. The power suddenly burst forth and he attacked.

OOC: Ancient Power Strong!! lol.

Vindico snarled and pulled up and away with a quick burst of speed. He would have to trust in his maneuverability because he had no magic or powers of his own to use.

Vindico growled. He wouldnt let himself be chased about like a cat chasing a mouse. He got as far ahead of Vulcan as he could, did another mid-air turn to face him, and then unleashed his own fire. He would have to give it all he had to get past Vulcan's new power.

Vulcan opened his jaws wider and alowed his stream of fire to grow larger. He opened his claws wide in preparation for tearing at flesh. He wasn't about to lose this fight. Oh no, he would kill the dragon who dared to face him. His eyes narrowed...Vulcan was ready.

OOC: This isn't at all fair...

OOC: wait what do you mean?

OOC: I mean how my guy has powers and your guy doesn't...

OOC: oh that's okay. It makes me think of a creative way to get out of a situation.

IC: Vindico's fire was pushed back despite the effort he gave. But he came up with a last minute strategy. He kept the fire up until his jaws hurt and then, he dropped away completely, the fire passing over him. He flipped upsidedown and raked Vulcan's underside before peeling away.

Equinox continued to follow Brujole as he turned away from him and attacked another dragon. Come back you coward! Are you too afraid to fight Equinox! he roared at him, and dung his claws right into Brujole's side.

Vulcan grinned, not even noticing the new wounds. He flipped immediately after Vindico was behind him and took on an extra burst of speed. Coming upon the dragon's back, Vulcan streched out his claws and dug them into his enemy. Quickly withdrawing, he angled his way from the dragon. He hadn't done much damage, but he hoped he had given Vindico something to think about.

OOC: Nice move. By the way, Vulcan didn't notice it because he is half-crazy for blood at the moment. Vindico did in fact do some good damage.

OOC: lol Solarae does not like being flung around. She's maaad.

IC: Solarae hissed, enraged, as she was flung at the dragon she had been attacking earlier. Before she hit him, she peeled open her wings and flapped away, thoroughly annoyed. She swore very loudly at Ramoth, slashing her face as she darted in and back out again. What is wrong with you?! she screeched in fury.

Okay, that's it. Time to feel the wrath of Solarae's fire!! she screamed into everyone's minds. Her already red-hot body began burning white-hot, and suddenly the air around her burst into flame. Solarae's whole body was on fire. A huge gust of it erupted from her small jaws and engulfed Ramoth and Nidhog. Despite her size, Solarae had hugely powerful fire, a skill she had been born with and developed further in the superheated Scorched Lands to the east.

You idiotic dragons! Just because you're larger doesn't mean you can push me around! Try to touch me now and you'll get burnt! she shrieked at Ramoth and Nidhog, enraged with both of them. She blasted fire at them again and circled around, hoping to inflict damage on both of them while they fought each other.

OOC: AHHH!! CRAZY DRAGON ON THE LOOSE!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!

OOC: Solarae isn't the only angry dragon. Dzroginion is mad enough to tear apart mountains with his teeth.

Dzroginion growled angrily as he fell towards the ground. Why did giant dragons have to think that the were the greatest creatures alive, when smaller one's could wreak havoc in their lives, and escape unharmed, because of (sometimes) greater speed. Dzroginion snapped his wings open, and abruptly his downward plunge stopped. Flapping his wings, Dzroginion quickly gained altitude, and roared loudly at Ramoth, You will be sorry that you ever came here you oversized lizard! You will be sorry that I was here to challenge you. Dzroginion extended his sharp claws, and attacked Ramoth's belly, ripping, tearing, and burning. Dzroginion's thoughts were filled with those three words. Rip. Tear. Burn. Fight me unless you're a coward Dzroginion said to Ramoth.

Vindico followed Vulcan about, tracing his path after he pulled away. He was too fast to receive bodily wounds from him as of yet but to slow him down, Vindico summoned his fire from within him, concentrated it to one mass, and sent a roaring fireball after him.

OOC: short srry.

OOC: is the mist going to clear up now that it is being blocked from coming out of the ground?

IC: Ramoth shielded herself from the fire as best she, but it burnt scales that were still used to extreme opposite. The ground under her suddenly started shaking and the walls began crumbling as one of the small green dragons she had thrown earlier got under her and attacked her underbelly.

Ramoth's mind reeled in the pain from her burnt back and bleeding stomach, but she could still think through it all. She picked up her four legs and fell onto the green dragon, crushing him under her fifteen plus tons of body mass. Ramoth quickly healed herself of her major injuries while she wasn't being attacked. She jumped up after Solarae. She came up out of the mist and extended her claws to grab Solarae and rip her to pieces.

Right before she hit Solarae, her mind cleared and her blood lust ceased, she quickly did a aerobatics maneuver and avoided hitting the small orange dragon. What are we doing? she aloud for all to hear.

OOC: an average elephant weighs between 4.5-6.5 tons and Ramoth is much bigger then an elephant, I just thought you ought to know

OOC: Now Vulcan is going to loose his blood thirsty madness!

Vulcan noticed the walls of the gorge colapsing. As much as he wanted to rip Vindico to shreds he'd have to leave to avoid death. He found a rising wind current and flew upward, barely avoiding a fireball from his main enemy. Suddenly, the orange dragon broke free from the mist. As soon as he breathed the clean, untainted air, his blood-thirsty madness ceased. He heard Ramoth's voice within his head and answered the dragon directly, fear evident in his voice. "It is this cursed mist!"

Solarae didn't even notice that she no longer wanted to kill any of these dragons, but was merely annoyed with some of them. And in her usual good-natured way.

Dude, Ramoth, flinging me around is so not cool. We small dragons have rights too, she said, giving a fisted salute from her chest. She suddenly realized that the hunger for their flesh had subsided. Yo, Vulcan, you're right. That mist was turning us bloodthirsty, she proclaimed, I s'pose we've gotta find a way to get rid of it. She said the last part almost in irritation, as if it always fell on her to clean up the messes evil left.

Hey, what happened to that big-ugly Nidhog and my fellow small dragon Dzroginion? Are they alright? she said with concern, and began sniffing above the edges of the mist to try to find them.

OOC: Wow, Solarae amuses me.

Equinox sunk his claws deeper into Brujole's body. He gave a deep evil snarl of delight when it seemed the dragon did not put up any defence againt Equinox's relentless attack. Equinox bathed Brujole's side in a deep plume of fire, and snapped his jaws over his wing. Equinox let go with his jaw, and gave out a roar of pleasure. He didn't know why, it must have been the gas, but he really hated Brujole. He wanted to rip his body limb from limb and make sure no trace of the dragon remained by the time he was done with him. Equinox had never felt this strange urge before, to kill ofr killings sake, but even odder, it didn't deter him. These fumes were getting deep into his head, and he only gained the message from his brain, to kill, to murder, to rip, to shread.

Vindico followed his target up out of the mists. But when he was out of the mists just like Vulcan was, the hatred and urge to kill vanished entirely and that instinct that fueled his strength was all but spent. However, with this came the true pain of his wounds which he had not felt when inside the gorge. He landed quickly and nearly fell over. He would be able to walk, but he still hurt like crazy. However, he was mainly concerned for Vulcan. He knew that he had given him several wounds also.

Vulcan suddenly realized how badly he had been injured. He plumeted to the ground, just managing to keep from breaking his neck in the fall. He heard numerous snaps, and knew that many of his bones had been broken. The small dragon's whole body was on fire with pain, and he was completely exausted. Gasping for breath, Vulcan rolled to his side and relaxed, hoping that the horrible aching would subside.

OOC: Oh yea Pomfret; Vindico should be very concerned.

Nidhog had been slowly regaining his consciousness when he noticed he was under tons and tons of earth, only alive by the wal of stone he had erected around himself. He began to draw spirits from long dead dwarves and with them, he began to replinish his energy and dig. He dug slowly and silently, hoping to come across an unsuspecting dragon or erally anything that would be a decent meal. He was about one hundred meters from the surface when he stopped. He took the spirits into himself and began to restore and try to heal(though he can't) his wounds he began to gain more and more energy, he had heard the dragons talking abov him and heard them walking around, he silently conmtinued stopping just far down enough to keep from beign detected by the others.

OOC: Draco is right, this is just Nidhog's usual mood, lolz!

OOC: lol, he's like a cranky old man on steroids and crazy. lol, though he's not that old compared to some of the charries here, he's pretty darn old.

IC: Solarae listened to the green with interest. She had never really discussed her size with anyone; the experience was a new one. Well, when I was younger, all the dragons I knew made fun of me. But I certainly didn't come off the worse for it, no, it made me independent. Eventually, though, I just got annoyed so I moved east. When I was there, it was the same, until I showed the dragons just what I could do. I defeated enemy after enemy that even the most powerful of their warriors couldn't combat, so eventually I gained my respect, as a fierce warrior. And now that I'm here, well, no one's mocked me, but I don't think they're dumbe enough to, she said with a grin, showing her extra-long saber-like canine teeth, which were always on prominent display even with a closed mouth.

I suppose now, it'd be nice to be larger, but I'm so used to being small that I don't think it's a good idea. Besides, I like being different. You are actually the third other unusually sized dragon I've met, she said cheerfully. She finished her inspection of wounds and got into a more comfortable crouching position with her wings slightly unfurled to catch the sun.

Vindico stepped up to Vulcan quickly. He did not dare to move him because of his obvious injurries. "Looks like I did quite a number on you." he said lowly to Vulcan. "Do you know if any of these other dragons can heal . . . I have no powers of my own."

OOC: short.

Vindico was relieved to see that Vulcan was going to be fine. He didnt deserve death in that way, being taken over and killed for another purpose other than his own. "There are still others in there?" Vindico asked looking into the gorge. He wouldnt be able to hold his breath long enough to find them both. He would be retaken by the mists.

OOC: Thanks a lot.

Dzroginion jumped up in surprise as Nidhog came up from the ground, and flew out of the way as his opponent attacked. Dzroginion knew that if he couldn't reach magic then he was dead, and possibly some of the others. You shouldn't have done that. Dzroginion said in a dangerous voice. I didn't survive all these years just to be killed by someone who thinks to much of himself. Dzroginion waited for a spark, something to let him know that he was able to reach magic, but it seemed it would never come. Dzroginion prepared to use his mind trap on Nidhog, despite the other dragon's size, and his own disabilities against creatures that much larger than himself. Then it came. Dzroginion was so surprised that he almost crashed into the ground before recovering. He now had enough power to trap the large dragon, although he wouldn't be able to control him. Dzroginion cast the mind trap at Nidhog. I hope this works. He thought

OOC: Lolz, you can't stop someone like Nidhog, lolz.

IC:
Nidhog felt some sort of a net cover part of his body, luckily it didn't cover his hear or upper body. It really only covered his legs and part of his tail. He smiled, You have failed, but your ability will be useful to me. He used his breath of corruption upon th egreen dragon, though it did not work, it did casue muhc confusion and in lucky cases complete control of the victim of it. Nidhog then, began to breath his highly corrosive Fire of the Forgotten upon all that were in range.

OOC: Nidhog is outnumbered like 15 to 1 lolz.

Vulcan was angry. He didn't like the one called Nidhog at all. He had attacked an innocent dragon many times smaller than him, and for what? Vulcan was almost crazy with rage...it was time to attack. The ancient power grew inside of him, ready to be unleashed. Vulcan gave a roar and took to the air, and despite his enemy's size, he wasn't afraid in the least. He unleashed a huge torrent of flame and sank his claws into the think hide of his adversary. The dragon's only hope was that the others would help.
OOC: That was a bit rash! lol.

OOC: Lolz, yep, outnumbered like 15 to 1.

IC:
Nidhog roared in pain when the small orange dragon leapt upon him. It was on his side, so he was able to fling the small dragon from him. He turned the bulk of his flame upon the orange dragon, reveling in its screams of pain. He then hurled the draong through the air and into the rest of the dragons.

OOC: lolz, Nidhog gona have to do somethgin different, lolz.

OOC: Godmodder!!! Vulcan doesn't scream! lol.

OOC: I don'thave much choice, sunk his claws into him, thats godmodding also. Also, Nidhog was "trapped" which is also godmodding, lols, not really had a choice.

OOC: Oh...yea...

Vulcan wasn't going to give up. He was driven by rage. The dragon before him was evil and he wanted it dead. He opened his jaws and released a torrent of flames bigger than he had ever done before. The young dragon gasped in shock. The fire had been half magical! Vulcan wondered what effect it would have on the large dragon, but he didn't have to wait long to find out.

OOC: Lolz, can't believe this, lolz, Nidhog burned, lolz,

IC:
Nidhog roared in pain when his wing was burned. It would not stop him from flying, but it did greatly pain him. He knew he was outmatched. He retreated to the tunnel he had made and said, Follow me if you dare! He retreated down the tunnel into the depths of the earth where his power was greatest. His eyesight mattered not, his nose and his hearind were his weapons there, the other dragons would be next to useless. He smiled.

Even though Vulcan was enraged, he did not follow Nidhog into the tunnel. He knew that it would be suicide to fight the large dragon in so small a space. Instead, the small orange dragon blew a large torrent of flames into the hole to give the enemy something to think about. Vulcan realized he needed to land, or he was liable to fall to the ground. He made a quick spiraling decent, landing next to Vindico.

OOC: Wow...did Nidhog actually retreat from three small dragons? lol.

OOC: Well, the small dragons have him outnumbered, there are others up there and Nidhog is no idiot, he knows when he is outmatched, so he chose the next battle ground, underground, where he is most powerful and the advantage is his, if you read his hisort, lolz.
