Character Personality: Hannah is elf-like: mysterious and unrevealing. However, she has many emotions and cares that she doesn't show. She loves animals and is very cautious with people, as she knows they have many flaws that elves don't have. She will help anyone in need as much as she can and is overall a peaceful person. However, she will fight and kill if it is needed, and she can become extremely angry. When this happens, a viewer would be able to see flames in her eyes before she attacked with lightning speed.

Character History: Hannah was born in the Elven capital city of Ellesmera. She grew up learning swordfighting and other things normally taught to a young elf. She was never told who her father was, only that he was human. She was also told that he had named her Hannah, and this was why she had a human name. She also had an Elven name, but she was forbidden to tell anyone, as it was her true name. Her mother taught her how to whittle, some basic magic, and how to connect to the minds of animals. She grew up happily and peacefully, protected in Ellesmera. When she was eleven, her dragon, Star, hatched for her. She was told by her mother to go defeat Galbatorix and was also given special mother-to-daughter advice. Aelwia told her daughter to find the other Riders before she attempted to defeat Galbatorix. Hannah was then given the bow and arrow she would carry around for her whole journey. Since then, she has journeyed around Alagaesia to find the other Riders and then defeat Galbatorix.

Character's Physical Description: Hannah is four feet and eight inches tall. She has sharp features including eyes that look like they can make people full of love when they are happy and kill when they are angry. She has very straight hair which is dark brown (see Hair). She normally wears long pants and a shirt, along with a belt with a small crystal in the center which her sword is buckled onto. Her bow and a quiver of arrows are normally slung across her shoulder.
Dreams for the Future: Hannah dreams to find the other Riders and together defeat Galbatorix.
Reason for Dreams: Hannah, like most people in Alagaesia, hates Galbatorix and wants to be freed from his tyranny. She doesn't think she can defeat him alone, so she journeys around Alagaesia to find more Riders.

Alignment/side: Hannah is against Galbatorix. She isn't in the Varden, but she has the same views as them.

Dragon Name: Star

Age: four months

Gender: female

Parents: unknown

History: Star's egg was found five years ago in the depths of Du Weldenvarden, guarded by a fierce female wolf. The elves found her after being led there by a young male in the pack during one particularly crazy Agaeti Blodhren. Once a month, young elves from all over would line up to touch Star's egg, hoping that she would hatch for them. After two years of being touched by young elves, Star finally hatched for Hannah. When asked how she knew to hatch later, Star said that Hannah's fingers just felt right. Star's first months were very hard, as she didn't know her parents and had nobody to tell her what to do. Eventually, the secrets of dragonhood revealed themselves to Star, and she became a strong, reasonable young dragon, full to the tips of her wings with knowledge. In Du Weldenvarden, Star learned a lot about flying (after crashing into multiple trees) and gathered information about survival and the cycle of life from the native inhabitants of the forest. She tried to get Hannah to ride her, but after seeing her careen into a tree and accidentally pull it clean out of the ground, Hannah stubbornly refused to ride her until she could fly for ten minutes without hitting anything, which she has yet to accomplish. Star discovered that she very much liked the animals of the forest, and she would lie very still and watch them go about their lives. Lately, Star has been seeing less animals and trees, and she has concluded that she and Hannah are almost out of Du Weldenvarden and into the empire of Alagaesia.

Personality: Star is reasonable and intelligent. Sometimes, she speaks in riddles like those spoke by Saphira. She often makes good points and stops Hannah from acting before thinking. Star loves to fly (of course) and does so often, flipping and corkscrewing through the air, often careening off at a random angle and having to flap her wings ferociously to regain her balance. When she isn't flying, Star watches out for Hannah. Before Hannah left, she was told by her mother to take care of her, and she fully intends to obey the order. Star also has the annoying habit of slipping into the ancient language without noticing. "Maybe it's just natural," she once said proudly after talking in the ancient language for a full minute without noticing.

Colour: Star is dark blue, but she has a silver star on her forehead and about a half dozen of them scattered about her body.

Appearance: Star looks generally like any dragon would look. She's a bit small, as she isn't yet full grown, but her wings and body are just like those of a full-grown dragon. Her stars, oddly enough, can be "on" or "off" at her will. When "on," they shine silver, and when "off," they are a dull gray. The one on her forehead is always "on."

Armor: (if any): Star has no armor. Sometimes she puts leaves all over herself and pretends she does, though.

Dreams for future: Star dreams to find a male dragon and mate, helping up the dragon population. She wants to help dragons and the Riders rise again in full power.

Reasons for dreams: Star wants to defeat Galbatorix. She also longs for young dragons to take care of and teach, as she never had parents and was forced to learn how to be a dragon by herself.
