Okay i cant send chapters just yet because i would like to show what my story is about. Please tell me if this is interesting enough or if it needs to be worked on.

In the first age of Neviara, everything was calm and peaceful. Each race, human and half-dragon had a true ruler on their thrones. Out in the desert, it was the Firescale Legion that kept order in the land. However that order ceased to exist as an evil wanna-be king for the human throne triggered a great war. However he was no normal human. he wielded enough magic to creat his very own army consisting of many strange and repulsive creatures. With this army, he killed the first king of the human realm and took over the capital city of the humans, Marcesca and made the once glorious city into a dark poisonous Citadel. It was after this that the Firescale Legion took its turn in the war. They marched into the desert with a great force. And the king and his evergrowing army was waiting for them. When they met, there was a great battle that raged for many days, until the king emerged victorious. With the remaining Firescales dispersed and in hiding, the king found Midas, the sanctuary of the Firescales and he pillaged it until it was left with nothing. When he stole everything that was in Midas, he not only stole just artifacts and gold but stole two medallions. Each of those two controled an element. One he stole controled the air element. And the other, fire. There was two missing pieces though. The medallion of water had turned to a well-respected surviving general and the medallion of earth, was in the hands of a soldier. Though not able to grasp the medallions power, she could still bear it and was charged with the task of finding another Firescale survivor to become the earth lord. She led a small band of around thirty soldiers to protect herself. However, none would predict that the medallion would soon choose a host. One of human blood and it would play a role in the final battle for good or for evil. If the king commanded all four medallions, he could unleash the elements on the land and finally wipe out all remaining resistance and the land would officially be his. But the Firescales quest was to regain control of all of them. If they did, they could call upon the ancients for aid and forever put evil to eternal rest.

Okay before i send chapters i would like to know what everyone thinks of the plot. Thank you for taking the time to read.

Really good i can't wait to see what its like after hearing about the caracters for awhile.

Update: A list of some of the characters. Just the main ones and a little bit about them.

Elegost: A boy who is about ready to take on life as his hometown's blacksmith. He hopes to follow in his fathers footsteps in this line. However, his life is forever changed when a stranger arrives in his hometown of Sira carrying a medallion with a very valuable looking green jewel. Being quite the pickpocket, he takes the medallion from the stranger without being noticed, but when his curiosity gets him to try the medallion on himself, he cant get it off. His questions are revealed by the stranger that carried it when she says, "You are the new Earth Lord. This medallion has chosen you to be so."

And so, he is put right in the very center of conflict in the crusades because of this and he must learn to wield this power before the king strikes again.

Saharra: The "Earth Bearer". She arrives into Sira for a rest from her travels but is shocked when the medallion she carried with her is missing. She looked desprately through the village and later stumbled across it; a boy was wearing it. When she wanted to take it back however, she could not remove it.

Sensing that a new elemental lord had been chosen, she must lead Elegost to Midas to undergo training in the use of the medallion of Earth so that the odds can be evened with the king.

Draco: Saharra's best companion. They first join forces in the underground city of Arondel when Saharra and Elegost are cast into it by the betrayer Salazar. They stayed in the abandoned and dark city for almost one week before they found the only way out. Saharra however, had lost her magic abilities in the process and remained in dragon form instead of human form.

Draco is the second in command at Midas and must search for allies to join Midas in their hour of need.

Commissar: A large dragon of blue and white, he is the Lord of Water. He carries the medallion of water wherever he goes and he is also the first in command at Midas.

He must train young Elegost in the use of the Earth medallion before time runs out.

Salazar: Once one of Midas's most trusted dragons, and now one of the most hated. He is the one who cast Saharra and Elegost into Arondel and left them to die and he serves the king as a Marcescan officer. (Marcesca is the city where the king dwells)
