SaphiraForums RPG Competition

I. General Information
What is the SaphiraForums RPG Competition?
The SaphiraForums Role-Playing Game Competition (RPGC) was a project devised by the previous RPG Team to try to provide an incentive to our most dedicated role-players. Now it is to provide a means to get your most creative posts and characters out into our world. We'd also like to see many new RPers joining our RPG during the competition, which, if all goes well, may just come around again.

What events are going to be in the competition?
Best Post, Best Thread, Best Character, Most Active Role-player, Longest Post, and Most Originality. (See below for more information about each event.)

What do I get for competing in the competition?
He had originally planned to have a few changes to the people who participated but, due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot give those prizes at this moment. We are still discussing other possibilities, but for the moment we cannot give anything but our support. If you come up with possibilities, post them in the RPGC thread.

II. Categories
A. Best Post
Best post is a ranking of the most entertaining, structured, and overall "best" post.
Judged for:
- Content/Originality
- Fluency(How well it fits into the storyline)
- Grammar
- Length

B. Best Thread
The best idea for a thread, which is credited to whomever starts the topic.
Judged for:
- Thread Originality
- Popularity
- Starting In Character(IC) Post
- Entire Thread's Posts

C. Best Character
The best character bio. You may submit a previously approved bio, or a new one just for the competition, but you need to make at least one post with your character to be judged. If you are applying for this you must have <RPGC> At the front of your character.
Judged for:
- History
- Overall Effect
- Character Usage
- Personality
- Background Information (Parents, Siblings, Skills, etc.)

D. Longest Post
The longest post any role-player makes. This category is mainly for fun, but you still need to make a good post.
Judged for:
- Length
- Content/Originality
- Fluency
- Overall Content

E. Most Active Role Player
The most active Role-player throughout the duration of the competition. Will be calculated by dividing the role-player's posts per day divided by total posts per day, only in the RP section, obviously.

F. Most Originality
This is simply a category decided by the judges as to the role player whose posts sport the most originality throughout the whole competition.

III. Rules & Guidelines
1. Posts should follow all regular RPG Guidelines.

2. You must have an approved application with your character in the RPGC Application topic to be judged for any RPGC Category.

3. You must have an accepted RPG character to participate post in any RPGC Topic.

4. No judge may judge him or herself, including the RPG Team. They are required to have the others in the team to judge them. The RPG Team is trusted to make honest decisions; any controversy may be PM'd to me or Dracoaestas.

5. Only posts inside an RPGC thread count toward Best Post, Most Originality, etc.

6. There is only two(2) RPGC threads allowed in each area, they can be started by anybody

7. RPGC Threads are limited to the Normal RPing area and will not be judged within the Epic RPG Area. This is to simply allow everyone a fair chance.
