Occ: Don't mind if I do then ^^ I belive I could put a spin on a shade for ya...though he isn't connected to the king but I’ll make some sort of connection...If you don't like it then just discard it.

Ic: Rien sighed as he leaned up against the wall of the common area of the house he had been able to attain a room at for the night. He heard that the town was lavish and full of life and civilization, maybe among the towns in the desert it was but by his standards it was a waist of his time. He loved to travel to different cultural centers of the world but when he came to place such as this he was disappointed, even if it wasn’t a horrible place. He concentrated on Esthers mind, who was sleeping soundly in an upstairs bed room. He smiled to himself at her enthusiasm when the small town had come into view. Her tastes were far from his but he found it refreshing.
They had traveled with a group of soldiers from the empire. They weren't barbaric so Rien had allowed the company mostly because they knew how to get here while he lacked the knowledge. There had been a dispute where a magician requested both him and Esther to swear oaths of fealty to the king if they were to travel under the king’s banner for 'protection' before they had left. But a small display from Rien had brought all the solder and magicians in line.
He lifted his mug ale in a mock toast, "To a wonderful town." He said aloud with obvious sarcasm and drank down the ale. His attention then shifted as he heard the creak of the wooden planks outside the door. He set down his mug and frowned as he tried to make out what was out there by reaching for whom or whatever it was with his mind with curiosity and hope that something interesting was poking its head out.

Rien grinned at the bounty hunter. He had no intentions of collecting on the bounty that had been place on her by the king. He knew the soldier would grow restless soon and attack in hope of killing her and being a hero of the empire. He laughed with the woman but for his own reasons.
"I think I am taking a liking to you Reb. I'm quite curious about how you would avoid me from collecting your bounty." He leaned forward in his chair and grinned, one hand on his chin. "Not that she would let me, so don't worry too much." He was speaking about Esther of course.

Rien put up his hands as if to calm the bounty hunter down. "I refer to my Daughter. She was exhausted with the trip out here and to be frank these soldiers really were really wearing her down the whole time." Rien heard loud footsteps shuffling above but didn't take head to it as they began to head towards the stares. "Its been like this all night. I she doesn't get sleep I swear these soldiers will...." He was stopped short at the sight he saw next. One of the many magicains was carrying an unconscious Esther in his arms. He was surrounded by other magician and soldiers, who all had a look triumph upon their faces. Rien began to rise out of his seat.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you Shade." The magician hold Esther said. "You see this bracelet." He held up Esther arm to show Rien the bracelet. "It connect my life to her. I can end her at any time or if I die hers will end anyway. A gift from the king himself just for this mission." The magician smile cruly at Rien. "Now if you want your precious daughter back, kill her."
Rien looked at Reb and smiled sadly. He had taking a small liking to the bounty hunter. But now that didn't mean anything to him with Esther's life on the line.
