This was written mostly by Draco, she is allowing me to play one of her characters so I just filled in some of the minor details.

Name: Reechani

Gender: female

Skills: Venom: Reechani has a potent venomous bite, even more dangerous than her brother Kalo’s. It can kill a dragon within an hour and a human within minutes (other two-legs being in between the two). Magic only works on the poison if the magic-user is very powerful, and the only antidote is composed of several different, hard-to-find ingredients. However, she can only bite someone with her venom once a day. Her bite is not the only venomous attack, though. She has a curved barb at the tip of her tail that exudes a very acidic venom. It can be more readily cured with magic, but once injected literally eats away at the victim’s insides due to its high acidity. Reechani can use this attack once every ten minutes. Her spikes and claws also ooze a more low-acidity venom which causes wounds created by them to burn, and also makes them much harder to heal since the acid slowly eats away at the flesh (much more slowly than that of the tail-barb, but still enough to cause extra damage).

Breath: Reechani cannot breath ice like her sister Ecco and brother Kalo, but does possess Kalo’s tarry/acidic breath. At little-no energy Reechani can breathe a thick tar-like substance which stings sensitive areas like eyes, nose, ears, mouth, and open wounds and is also very sticky and heavy (so it can impede movement and impair senses). If she puts more energy into the breath attack, it becomes a very corrosive acid which can eat through the thickest armor or dragon scale (and can permanently blind opponents if too much of it gets in their eyes).

Fighting: Reechani has been training all her life to be an assassin, and is very good at what she does. She possesses an unnatural grace and agility and every physical movement is perfectly controlled and accurate (she is very aware of her body at all times). She excels at fighting which will disable her opponents in the shortest amount of time possible. As such, she cannot participate in drawn-out fights, and so prefers to end the life or cripple her enemies as quickly as she can (she is very willing to catch enemies by surprise or strike when their backs are turned, and has no honor system). She will kill or maim by any means necessary, and is very good at knowing how to do so.

Stealth: Another major aspect of being trained as an assassin is knowing how to be stealthy. Reechani is also very good at this, especially because her physical movements are so naturally careful and precise. She is exceedingly stealthy for a dragon, and can sneak to within a dragonlength of targets depending on the terrain.

Siblings: Eccoriaktana (42, alive but whereabouts unknown to Reechani, believed dead), Kalo (32, alive and also being trained by Galbatorix), two unhatched eggs

Character Personality: Reechani’s personality can best be described as nasty and venomous. She is almost never nice or even polite to others, and when she shows respect it is usually sarcastically. The only souls she does show genuine respect to are her mentors Galbatorix, Shruikan, a few other older dragons, and her brother Kalo. Her responses to others are usually snappish or insulting, and she has a quick wit and sharp tongue. She has not been on any missions yet, but she has tortured and killed prisoners for the King. She enjoys this duty greatly, and likes causing pain (physical or emotional) to others. Other than causing pain, she mostly enjoys her training, and dreams of becoming Galbatorix’s best assassin. He spent years magically altering her egg for just this end, for which she is very grateful, viewing it as an opportunity and another aspect of herself that she can hold above others. She looks down on most others, viewing them as far beneath her and other servants of the King. The only one she has ever been kind to is Kalo, her brother. She knows that he protects her and wants to see her become a successful assassin, and appreciates his training and support.

Character History: Reechani’s egg was part of a clutch of five, her parents being the mixed ice and water dragons Sriktilan and Kialana. While in her egg, her parents sent her egg dreams to train her the ways of the land, about hunting and fighting and survival in the cold northwestern islands. Her parents as well as her older sister Ecco spoke to her often, and eventually she could hear beyond the egg. She didn’t want to hatch yet, though, rather indifferent to the world beyond. She was content to wait for a more opportunistic time, and in fact found the life of her family somewhat boring. One day, her life within her egg was thrust into chaos. There was a great deal of movement and loud noises outside the egg, until eventually all was silent again. However, the sounds were different. Great spells were wrought over her egg for several decades, and Reechani could feel her body changing accordingly. Sometimes the spells hurt her greatly, but she didn’t mind. She sensed that the magic was making her stronger. At last the day came for her to hatch, when Galbatorix was finished working magic over her egg. She was confident in herself and her abilities immediately, and possessed an unnatural grace and speed right after hatching. Her first test was to kill a bound prisoner for the King only minutes after hatching, and she did so, dispatching him with a poisoned bite to the throat. After that, she spent most of her time in training to become the perfect assassin. She was trained primarily by Galbatorix and Shruikan and her brother Kalo, who was also still in training. He knew more and was of course more capable than she, but he had been almost an experiment to the King. Spells were worked over his egg for only ten years, and they had been mostly tests. Reechani always knew that her brother was the test, and she was meant to be the King’s perfect weapon. Having this knowledge constantly in mind made her very confident during training, allowing her to progress rapidly. Despite being a little smaller than a normal dragon her age, she is far more capable and skillful than even dragons decades older than her. At thirteen, she believes she has gotten enough training, and yearns to be released upon the unsuspecting world.

Weapons: Reechani has her potent venom (from her bite and tail-barb) and acidic ooze from her spikes and claws. She also has physical weapons like claws, teeth, numerous spikes along her spine and also on her shoulders, a thumb-spike on each wing as well as claws on the end of each wing-finger (her wing-fingers are more flexible than most dragons, allowing her to use these wing-claws as weapons). Her tarry/acidic breath is an oft-used weapon as well.

Likes: Darkness, dispatching Galbatorix's enemies, playing with her food

Dislikes: Being patient/waiting, losing in any way, feeling trapped/exposed

Weakness / Fear: Reechani cannot participate in drawn-out fights, as she has low endurance and low skill in that area. If she cannot kill an opponent quickly, she is at a disadvantage.

Animal Companions: none

Character’s Physical Description: Reechani is a little smaller than average for her age but is very muscular and powerful. Her scales are harder than a normal dragon’s due to Galbatorix’s tampering, and are a pale, acidic (yet somewhat icy) green streaked with very pale icy silver. She has long, narrow, razor-sharp teeth and claws, and a curved barb at the tip of her tail which she uses to inject venom into targets. She has long, sharp spikes running down her spine, which grow longer near the end of her tail. Starting about halfway down her tail she also has spikes running on its underside. She also possesses numerous spikes on her shoulders for added protection. Her wings are about normal sized for her body type and each wing-finger ends in a curved claw.

Dreams for the Future: to become Galbatorix’s best assassin, but first to be allowed to finally go on a mission

Reason for Dreams: it is what she believes her life’s purpose is, and she knows no other way (she also enjoys what she had done so far); to do this she must be allowed to go on a mission, she wants to be used as a proper weapon
