Sera fell asleep. The elves went slightly crazy when the dragons and the elf attacked, they swarmed toward the blue dragoness, hopign to kill her and avenge their comrades, as well as their leader who was just as good as dead.

OOC: Sorry, but pass, Sera is kind of in no situation to move, lol.

OOC: I am going to pass this turn, but next turn, Sera is going to regain consciousness(sp?).

Sera smiled slightly when the evil elf was killed, the remaining elves were either fled, or dead and she was finally safe. She was walkign over to the others, when her legs collapsed. She then fell into a deep slumber. She rested knowing that she was finally safe.

OOC: Pass.

Sera continued to sleep, deep in a coma-like state which seemed like sleep. She could not move, not think, not see, hear or feel, she had restrated so far into her mind, she could no longer feel the connection to teh waters of the world...

OOC: Pass, sorry nothing for the unconscious Sera to say...

OOC: Is it ok to have a timeskip?

Sera continued to sleep, that is until they came toward the mouth of the cave. She raised her head slightly and looked about. She was still giddy from her bloodloss, as well as the mental and physical strain of being tortured and said, W- Where are we? asked the dragoness in a slurred voice. She looked about at the rocks and they seemed to be moving about in circular paths. She dropped her head back on the large rock she was being carried on and said, I think I am going to be sick...

OOC: 'Tis fine.

IC: Solarae blinked and smiled gratefully at Paconio, to exhausted to give voice to her gratitude. The cloth wrapped tightly around her did help, and the injury on her side no longer trickled a constant stream of blood down her side. It was still leaking a little, but not as dangerously any more. Eh. Much less likely to die now, she thought with a tiny laugh. She limped along after her friends, still keeping her pace as smooth as possible. If she jerked her muscles too much, she could open the wound more.

Finally, they reached the entrance to the cave. Solarae was too tired by then to say anything, merely side-stepping unevenly to the wall. She leaned heavily on it, panting, and waiting to keep moving.

OOC: Fine with me

IC: "We're at the beginning of the mountain. We're going to take you to my house," Paconio said to Sera. He walked over to the blue dragoness, inspecting her. She was very badly wounded, but she would recover. It could take awhile, but she would be back on her feet eventually. Paconio patted her side gently, saying encouraging words and telling her she would live. "Now, just get some rest. When you wake up, you're going to be feeling a lot of pain, my wards can only last for awhile..." He added.

He ran over to Solarae. Since she had to walk, the elf was slightly more concerned about her. He fed her some energy from his headband. "Trust me, you're going to need it when we set up camp. You're going to be feeling a lot of pain.."

OOC: Sorry it took me so long, I forgot, sorry...

IC:
Sera nodded to William and soon curled up into a ball and fell into a deep slumber. She was tired from the battle, the torture, and was tired because she was safe, as well as healed. She was among friends, and that was something to be thankful for. She slept until late the next day and stirred only when she heard something she had not for a long time; running water. She immediately raised her head and looked about excitedly and said quietly, I- I hear water! and sorely got up and began to sniff about for the water.

OOC: It's okay, voenth. This topic only just reopened. A few days ago.

IC: Oh... oh yeah. I s'pose camp's alright to lie down... the orange mumbled rather incoherently. She moved over to a clump of rocks and stretched out, feeling very cold all of a sudden. She fell into a deep, weakened slumber the moment she laid her head down and closed her eyes, too tired to say anything more. She slept for hours, weakened by blood loss. However, Solarae eventually came away rather groggily. Ah... I need to eat something... regain my energy, she thought with exhaution, shivering and curling up tighter.

OOC: Yes, what draco said

IC: Gus nodded at everyone with tired eyes as he curled himself around the passed-out body of Paconio. The green dragon fell into sleep quite quickly, not even he himself realizing how long of a day he had. He nervously kept his mind cast out, though, just in case they were about to be attacked. His parents soon mirrored what he did.

Gus lazily woke up late into the next day, though he was the first to wake up other than his parents. The first thing he noticed was a pile of four deer laying beside him, Sera, and Solarae. He looked back at his parents. Several deer carcasses littered the area. Emma was devouring a dear leg, mumbling, This is glorious. Simply glorious I tell you. William agreed with a nod.

Gus took one of the deer from the neat pile and started eating it. He was more hungry than he had thought he was, and he ended up licking the bones clean.

Paconio woke up a bit after that. He rubbed his eyes, and stretched. By this time, everyone except for Solarae was up and moving around. He was concerned, but figured she needed her rest. Still, he had Gus drag her deer closer to her, so she wouldn't have to strain herself to get it.

Solarae grinned. Hey, maybe the elves know something. There are probably plants that can help sick dragons, right? she said, still curled up. Her mental processes weren't as sluggish as they could be, which she was grateful for. Until she fell asleep, she could still talk to her friends. She let her senses roam, wondering if there were any plants that smelled good. Maybe her instincts would enhance the scent of plants that could help? It was a possibility. Nothing caught her attention yet, but she stayed alert.

OOC: Since I don't want this to drag, I have kind of an idea. But it might take me a few more posts to work it all out.

OOC: Okay, whatever works for you

IC: Paconio sighed lazily and got up as well. "I'd better go find myself some food while I ponder, I don't want to be too bored!" He said, "Emma, and William, could you do me a favor and watch over Solarae while I'm gone? I need people to keep constant watch on them." With their consent, Paconio wandered off into the forest surrounding them and picked some fruit. He worked very slowly, as he was running over his healing spells for possible cures for Solarae's illness.

OOC: Voenth, it's your go

OOC: Sorry, didn't see, lol.

IC:
Sera soon found what she was looking for, a large winding river that wove itself through the sea of green leaves. The blue dragoness happily dove into the water and relished the feeling of the cool water on her dirty scales, and not long after that was standing on the bank shining much like a sapphire. She then went hunting. Shesoonh located a large river carp and killed it. This she ate immediately, then wend fishing for more. It took her some time, but she eventually caught a large enough sturgeon that she could bring to the others to eat. She walked back into the cave with her catch being dragged behind her. She said, Eat up, it should be good.

OOC: Oh! Oh! I got an even better idea than what I had before! Is it okay if I time-skip to night in my next post?

OOC: Tis fine I didn't have much planned.

OOC: Okey dokey. I shall make my post then.

IC: Solarae heaved out a tired sigh before sinking to sleep, deciding that rest would help her the most. She fell unconscious almost as soon as she closed her eyes.

OOC: Time Skip to night.

IC: Something tickled the back of Solarae's mind, like an itch that wouldn't go away. She grunted in her sleep, trying to ignore it. That only seemed to irritate it, however, for it got worse. She began twitching, until finally she woke up, the itch now a pressing force in her brain. Solarae opened her eyes, catching a very strong scent as it drifted past. The itch urged her to find its source. She growled low under her breath, trying to ignore it, but finding it rather impossible. The itch was turning into a burn, and finally she stood up. She looked around, confused, for the smell seemed to restore strength to her limbs. Which were already moving. How did that happen?

Solarae found herself on the edge of the clearing and in the forest before she knew she had started moving, but the burning sensation drove her onward. She had to find the source of the smell, somehow her mind was linking it to getting rid of her illness.

OOC: Do you guys mind waiting before you discover she's gone? It'll be more exciting that way.

OOC: Alright, as you wish

IC: Paconio came back with his arms full of fruit. He had been gone for several hours, and grabbed as much food as he could get. He easily dropped all of the fruit in a pile, and then sat beside it, already eating some. The rest of the day passed in a dull haze of going over spells.

IC: One time skip later..

Gus lazily and very slowly opened one of his eyes. It was very dark outside. He felt a chill. He would never admit it to Paconio, or anyone else, but he was a little scared of the dark. It wasn't the dark itself, but the shadowy figures inside of it. Sometimes they looked like giant beasts, poised to swoop down a devour him whole! He shut his eyes tightly, trying to fall back asleep, but knowing he wasn't going to.

Sera fell into a deep sleep that night.

OOC: Pass, sorry.

OOC: Cool. You guys can wake up and follow now if you want.

IC: Solarae had lost all sense of time or direction. There was only one direction: forward. She had to keep moving, find the source of the smell. It was the only thing in her mind. Finally, she knew that it was just up ahead, just behind the next tree. She raced forward, and twisted herself eagerly as she reached the tree. The smell was coming from beneath its roots. The orange dragoness dug down, sniffing into the roots. There: it was just in front of her muzzle. She lurched forward and snapped up whatever it was in her jaws. As she drew away, a thick green moss with some red parts draped from her jaws. Something was urging her to swallow it, and Solarae obeyed, gulping down the odd moss.

Immediately, all sense of weakness or illness abandoned her, and Solarae felt a moment of complete clarity and renewed strength. However, something still buzzed at the back of her mind. The buzzing was growing worse, and Solarae shook her head. The sensation increased until the dragoness felt as if something was taking over her mind. The sudden realization hit her like a boulder. A trap! Something was wrong with that plant! she thought anxiously, struggling up her mental defenses but finding that they had vanished.

"This way!" Paconio shouted, running along a barely visible trail. It wound around trees, and looked as if Solarae had been stumbling, but was headed in one general direction. He hoped she hadn't gotten herself into too much trouble.

Suddenly, Emma and William were beside Gus in the sky. He smiled as they offered their support, and took off after Paconio.

Paconio eyed Solarae suspiciously for a moment. Something was different, but he just couldn't put his finger on it. First it was her vocabulary. Then it was the tone she was using. Lastly, there just was a strange feeling he had around her. Almost like he'd never met her. He knew he was being to paranoid, though. He'd been like that for ages. Always the worry-wart, and most of the time just too cautious.

Gus, however, didn't really notice. He was too distracted by the meeting of his parents to notice anything. He was really just focused on getting to know them better and perfect their techniques.

OOC: Sorry if this is short, I'm kinda rusty lol

It did not take long for the still tired Sera to fall into a deep sleep. She was completely out, oblivious to everyone, and everything around her. All she knew was the land of dreams, the place where everything is either perfect, or the most horrible nightmare.

OOC: Pass.

OOC: Pass, nothing much to say this round, I will try something next round.

Paconio! Paconio, please, look this way! Stop me! Solarae was shouting, screaming as loudly as she could, but none of her words were leaving her mind. She was screaming to herself. She knew she was slowly getting a little more control back over her mind, but it wasn't enough. She fought with all her strength, trying everything she could think of. She tried to fight the entity within her mind, and she tried to draw attention to herself to wake the others or get Paconio to interfere. But she couldn't control herself. She almost felt the entity's sneer as her tail drew even with the green dragon's throat, poised above it. Solarae felt the muscles at the base of her tail start to work, and fought with all her being to stop them, but it was to no avail. She only hoped she would be stopped. Solarae brought down her tailblade.

OOC: Oh snap. lol You can decide what happens, Ben.

OOC: OOOH! My gawsh Draco, did I ever tell you how good you are at writing cliff-hangers???

IC: There was a blur of orange movement in the corner of Paconio's vision. His warrior-like instincts taking over, he dived over in front of the orange blur, sword conveniently not by his side. Something sliced across his chest. He screamed. Blood spewed everywhere. As Paconio's vision cleared and the dirt in the air settled, he gasped to see it was Solarae who hurt him.

"Solarae..." He coughed... "How... could... you...? We were... friends..." He looked down at his wound. There was a thick and wide wound going across his chest. It cut clean through the bone!

Gus and his parent jumped up. Rocks were held up everywhere. You're out-numbered, resist and be killed. He said in a cold tone.

Solarae saw Paconio dive in front of her... could not stop herself... saw blood flying, spraying across her face and coating one edge of her tailblade... it was Paconio's blood. The sight seemed to stir Solarae's inner strength, and she finally got a hold on whatever was taking over her mind. She could finally fight back... but it was too late. Solarae drew away from her friend in numb horror, into a patch of moonlight, and revealed herself. Her scales were covered in a web of red lines, as if she had been entangled in a spider's web of blood. Her eyes had turned from sky-blue to red, also altering her appearance dramatically. Words began emanating from her mind, words that weren't her own. We will prevail! You green dragons cannot escape so easily, she hissed, but suddenly the red of her eyes flashed back to blue as she briefly regained control. Sera, Gus, someone, please kill me! Stop it, stop it! she screamed, backing further away from her friends, her own mind erupting into chaos as she battled for control. Before... takes control again... end it! she screamed again, hoping one of them would just kill her and end it. She couldn't endanger them again with this presence... and she didn't know if she could live with what she had done. Solarae cried out in pain as the presence fought against her, trying to win back control of her body.

OOC: You know, the original title of this thread might have worked after all. lol. This is getting really dramatic.

Gus hesitated. He was really enraged by Solarae's actions, but now he realized she wasn't responsible for them! It was those damned elves at it again. He thought they had killed them all back at the mountain-cave-thing. Apparently he thought wrong. He didn't know what to do. If he killed Solarae he wouldn't have to worry about her majorly injuring and/or killing anyone else. (He couldn't exactly tell if Paconio was dead or alive, but he felt a big portion of Paconio's mental presence disappear) If he didn't kill her, those blasted elves would take her over again and kill absolutely everyone of them. Solarae was already agile enough to defeat Gus, and combined with her fire powers and elf energy supplies, she could kill Gus's parents. Paconio was as good as dead right then, so he didn't make much of a difference.

I'm sorry Solarae... Gus said, his tone filled with dread, But I have to do this. Please... Forgive me.... Several sharp boulders launched at high speed, hurdling towards Solarae...

OOC: She's not going to die! (Unless Draco wants to kill (in my opinion) her best character? lol) Either I'd like Sera to make a sudden change on events, or these elves take over again and evade the coming onslaught? Let's see how Voenth decides (I feel like I'm hosting a reality show tonight, lol)
