OOC: This is going to be real short. It is just run off from another RP that died because Star Gazer isn't on as much anymore, so this is just to finish what was started. Or to make it more clear, my charries were supposed to find something, but never got the chance. This'll pretty much be limited to Draco and Veonth if they want to join, otherwise their won't be much for anyone else to do if you join.

IC: Well, off to Faifnir's place then. Shyara jumped into the air with Kit on her back, and turned east. She didn't look back to see if any others were following her, because this little adventure concerns he the most.

Ecivres jumped up after Shyara, with Shyra on his back, but he wasn't as focused as his mate. He hovered in the air to see who'd come with before setting out east.

OOC: Go ahead with your post, Draco, I will go after you since Gornath and Anthor know nothing of this place.

OOC: Okey dokey. Though ILS never really describes it that much in detail, so it's easy enough to make stuff up as you go along.

IC: Phal walked forward, her footsteps silent in the large hall. I think Faefnir built this himself, a long time ago. He knows magic, so it would be quite possible for him to do it. He's never told me the story, though, so I don't know exactly how or how long it took, she answered Shyara, her eyes focusing in on a faraway room. The main record room would be a good enough place as any to start. It is up ahead, to the right down a hallway, and then one of the first rooms, she said, already coming to the corner. She turned and began down it, the entrance to the library of records already in sight.

Anthor followed Phalynx down the hall, his wonderment apparent at the beauty of the fortress. He observed the walls and the floor, his eyes observing almost every detail. He said, "This place was well made, but it wasn't done by human hands, nor dwarf, or even elf. This was done by magic, and magic alone."

Gornath snorted again and said, Yes, it is nice, but I wouldn't want to hide ... I mean stay here for centuries while the entire outer world crashes around them. his disgust apparent.

OOC: Just so you know, its not me with the problem its Gornath, nothing personal either, lol.

Shyara followed Phalynx to Record Hall. Do you know where the family trees would be? I'm sure that all that would be recorded for every family, since this would probably be considered the palace of dragonkind for this area.

Are you able to read the words Phal? I was never taught, and I don't think that two-leg hieroglyphics would be the same as ours.

OOC: so it is okay if I make up a special room?

OOC: Yeah, go ahead, Kit.

IC: Phal glanced at Gornath as he spoke with obvious disdain for Faefnir's time in his trance. We all have different opinions on that issue, Gornath. Didn't most of the wild dragons hide? Faefnir hid so that when the dust had cleared, he could do more good than if he had stayed out and gotten killed. And I did something similar. Do not forget, I stayed in my egg for almost fifty-thousand years, and there were many times when I felt I could be useful. But none of those were the right time. I think Faefnir felt the same way; that there was a time that would need him more, she said, hoping to share her philosophy of the issue. It was one she had thought about in the past.

The silver dragoness walked into the record rooms, listening to Shyara with a nod. Family trees? I never really looked at those, actually. They might be in the history area. And yes, I can read all of this, she replied with a smile. Though Phal had been an extremely curious hatchling, she had not had enough time to look at everything in her half-brother's libraries of information.

OOC: Umm, pass, there is not much of anything for me to say this turn, so pass. Sorry, Kit, I wil try to make a halfway decent post next turn.

Phal laughed and nodded at Shyara's comment. She began to look over a few things, but her head raised immediately at Shyra's words. She scrambled over to the elf, her footfalls sounding like stampede as curiousity took over. What?! I never knew this! Let me see! she cried, snatching up the journal and leafing through it, her eyes scanning the pages. Woah, I didn't even know I had a sister! Her name is Ramoth. What does Mother say about her? she mumbled to herself as she read.

After a few minutes, she looked up. Well, from what I've seen so far, Ramoth's egg was laid a long time after mine, but she hatched fairly quickly. It sounds like my parents weren't expecting another kid. This family tree you have looks older than that; made before she was born, she said, her voice speeding through the words so that they were almost uninteligable. She went straight back to reading through the journal without another word, her attention directed firmly on the pages.

OOC: She reminds me of myself. lol. Not wanting to get away from reading for more than two seconds.

Anthor, when he heard Shyara's excitedness ran into the room. He was very happy to hear that they were close to finding more about Phalynx's family history. He looked over Phal's shoulder and said, "Is there anything about Gornath's parents? Or maby Braith's?"

Gornath perked up when he heard something about his parents. He walked over and asked, What is this, so this Ramoth is related to Phalynx, how cool. Is there anything about my parents?

OOC: Hmm, so that make Ecrives and Shyara like bro and sis?? I thought that Shyara would be part of the royal family through mating with Ecrives. Was I wrong?

OOC: You have it the other way around, voenth. Shyara is Ramoth's daughter, and Ramoth is Phal's sister.

OOC: I understand that, but in "Into the Deep" I thought that Ecrives was the "link" to the Royal Family.

OOC: no, he never was, I don't even think I've identified his parents yet. And um, your jumping way ahead of the story, Shyara doesn't know anything about her mother, not her name or anything. Right now all she knows is that Phal had a sister she didn't no one knew about. they'll find out later that Ramoth is Shyara's mother, but that is still alittle ways away. With that information, could you please edit your post?

Anthor sat down beside Phalynx and Gornath, patiently waiting on an answer.

Gornath looked at Shyara and said, It wasn;t that far away, but it was to the North, past the chain of mountains after Du Weldenvarden, but there is no telling, they could have been from up there too for all wa know. said the white dragon.

OOC: Short, sorry...

Kit looked up at Anthor, "She just said no one knew where she went. But that gives me an idea. Phal does it say about where she laid her eggs, there might be something there, or some clue to where she went?"

OOC: whether it does or doesn't, it doesn't really matter, I've got it figured for both. if it does, remember, north above the North Sea

OOC: Okey dokey. I'll just have Phal point it out.

IC: Phal nodded. Yeah, here's a little note about where Ramoth laid the eggs, she said, pointing to and reading from the paragraph. She thought about it for a moment. Perhaps we should go there and find out, or look for other clues here about it. Anyway, I think the first thing I want to do is find information on this Xemit fellow. Maybe there's some family tree for him in the stronghold. This isn't the only thing in this room, Phal said, glancing around.

OOC: Pass, nothing to say.

Phal nodded excitedly, her energy level rising at the prospect of such interesting research. Yes, there are quite a few maps in the main room. I can't find anything on Xemit at the moment, but there are probably more family trees to look at. There might be a vague reference at least to his lineage, Phal stated.

She raced around, searching through family trees and lineage charts. She hoped she would be able to find something useful, but didn't know how likely that would be.

OOC: Did you have any plans in mind for how they find out that Xemit was the heir to the Northern Kingdom?

OOC: I was think that that would just be told to them by Ramoth, cause otherwise I got nothing for that

OOC: If you want we can do that. It might be more fun that way, actually.

IC: Phal was looking through charts and books, racing through lines of "these two dragons mated and had these kids" and so on. She didn't see anything even remotely like what they were looking for, however. None of the trees had been updated beyond having Ramoth on them. In some, Phalynx wasn't even mentioned. She paused when she found such charts. Was my egg kept a secret for a while? My name? she wondered, for some charts listed her under "unknown daughter." She was intrigued, but decided to find out more about it from her half-brother when she next saw him.

It was about that time that Anthor exclaimed something about a fairth resembling Gornath. Phal peaked her head over the bookshelf and noticed what he was talking about. She recognized the fairth; she had seen it before in her wanderings, but had taken no account of it. But now that she was seeing both the silver painted dragon and the white dragon standing before her, she saw the resemblance. Gornath, he looks exactly like you except for coloring. Here, give it to me, usually the name of the dragon or whoever's in the fairth is written underneath the backing, which I can see through, she offered, scrambling around the bookshelf and darting over to them. She snatched away the fairth, though her handling of the artifact was exceedingly gentle and careful. She stared at the back for just a moment before looking up.

Do you know the name Herensuge? Phal asked. As she was looking up, she noticed Kit, Shyra, and Shyara all staring at each other, their eyes obviously wide with surprise. What, what is it? What did you guys find? she asked immediately, staring intensely at her friends.

OOC: If you don't want Phal to find that the fairth is Herensuge, voenth I'll edit it out.

OOC: As a matter of fact, that was the whole idea of my post, lol, os thanks!

IC:
Anthor allowed Phalynx to grab the fairth. His smile widened when Gornath's head shot up. He waited for the huge roar that soon followed.

When he heard the name, Herensuge, Gornath's head shot up from where he was laying down, then with a monsterous roar that shook the fortress, he yelled, What about Herensuge! He is my father! Where is he! What about him?!

Gornath happily looked about, knowing that his father had either been here, or had been known of here. He said, One day, I will to meet him, one day soon.

OOC: Pass.

Phal nodded, grinning. Yes, we'll have to go and investigate as soon as we can. Before we leave, though, is there anything else you guys want to know? Or see? she offered. She was sure there might even be food in the Stronghold somewhere. You know, I've never met your family, Kit. I'll have to join you on that mission, she added decisively. She was very excited. Soon, she would meet her sister, Shyara would meet her potential mother, and maybe they'd even find Gornath's father while they were about.

OOC: Is this rp ending already?

Anthor said, "Well, this has been a particularly good trip, I am glad we came here, Phalynx, tell your half-brother that he has a great home." said the human rider as he re-took the fairth and placed it in Gornath's saddle. He said, "It does sort of belong to Gornath since it is his father, umm, is it ok Phalynx?"

Gornath looked at Phalynx and Shyara and said, As will I, especially since my father is likely to live somewhere up there, I hope I get to meet him.

OOC: I think so.

OOC: well I said it was going to be real short and I've got everything that I needed to get, so yeah, unless you can think of something. Usually a side trip is really short

IC: Cool, we can have a little get together.

"Yeah, you guys will have to come with us. We'll let you know when we go, or chances are, that you'll just appear there when we leave."

Phal nodded at Anthor and Gornath with a smile. Yes, of course you may keep it. Just keep it somewhere safe, she replied, nodding at the fairth. Her smile widened at the thought of another adventure with her friends. Their plans were already set in motion for another journey. Well, I'm looking forward to going on another adventure with you all. No doubt it will be filled with excitement, and probably peril; but we can handle that, she said, her green eyes sparkling brightly. Now, unless you have places you need to be, you're welcome to stay here for a few days. Or at least eat before you depart.
