 What does URL stand for? Ok I keep trying to get a picture for my Avatar and everytime I do it says the avatar filetype must be jpg, gif, or png and I switch over to those but it keeps saying it over and over again. What's the problem?

Could you post the picture here? I may be able to take a look. Don't forget, it must be less than 100x100 pixels. Are you using the browse button? It's not really a good idea to upload from a URL- better to save the picture on your computer then use browse.
