 My Chemical Romancedoes anyone agree with me in saying that "Three cheers for sweet revenge" was one of the best albums in the world, but "Life on the murder scene" (which consists solely of live songs) is pretty rubbish? And if anyone can tell me where to get their nu album "Welcome to the black parade" without downloading it, it'd be much appreciated!

I dont really listen to Metal, everyone once in awhile i will but thats it and M.C.R isn't really "emo", kinda more "Goth rock" if there is such a thing *shrugs* I really like them, thier early music is as good as thier latest music in my opinion. Thier coming here on tour with another band, Mews, i really want tickets!!!!

lol, ok, just to prove how much of a MCR nut I am (I am seriously their BIGGEST fan) here a few "off the top of my head" facts for u
1)Gerard Way is surprised that at quite a few concerts, he gets 50 year old biker dudes wanting his autograph, and also seeing moms at the back singing along to "Mama, we all go to hell!" 2)Despite the fact that all their songs are about drugs, sex, emoism, slitting wrist, and everything else that you can think of, MCR have recently said that they are "The happiest they have ever been in a long time" 3)Mikey Way is getting married! 4)Gerard has died his hair back to black, because he was losing his sense of identity. That's not who he was, and is sick of people associating him with the white hair. 5)Billy Joe Armstrong (Green Day lead singer) told Gerard (when he was going through a rough time) "It's ok to be a rock star, as long as you know when to turn it off" 6)During the "Big Day Out '07" tour in Australia, Frank Iero went home with a tooth infection, and he was replaced temporarily by Drive By's lead guitarist. 7)After the release of "Three Cheers..." Gerard was reported saying "It's us and the crowd against the rest of the world"  All of the band (mostly Ray Toro) think that, whilst touring in the UK, if they're not onstage, and you need to find them, they'll be in a comic book store.9)Gerard was brought up in New Jersey, in an area of American-Mafia mobs 10)His grandmother was his inspiration, and the one who encouraged him to pick up an instrument 11)The first band Gerard and Mikey were in together was called "Ray Gun Jones" Smashing Pumpkins meets Weezer... lol 12)At the age of 21, on his way to the cartoon studio where he worked, Gerard witnessed the act of terrorism on the Twin Towers. "I realised I was wasting my time with cartoons" He used this as inspiration to write "Skylines And Turnstiles" 13)The Song "Famous Last Words" was fueled by Gerard Ways break up with his long term 6 year partner. He realised that it was time and he really could "Walk this world alone" 14)By november 2003, thing were looking good. Then, the band was crushed. Gerard and Mikey's grandmother died. 15) The song "Helena" was written for her. (This bit is for you fronzz) Steven Jones from NME reported "Who wants to hear some guy prance about on stage, whining about his grandmommy." Needless to say, thanks to the shock of the band, a potential lawsuit, and the (literally) thousand of hate emails NME got, Steve was fired, and an apology released. I can't believe someone could be that insensitive. 16) After "Three Cheers..." was drawing to a close at the recording studio, the band was falling apart. They were popping Xanax (anti-depressant pill) and almost splitting up, thanks to their old drummer. They kicked him out eventually after a big arguement about whether he should use a metronome to keep time, and Bob Bryar was roped in. He was shocked. 17) When Bob joined, he didn't tell the band he had a broken ankle incase they kicked him out. 18)During the early years they used to accidentally leave Ray Toro at service stations. He would ring up and say "guys, have you forgotten something...?" 18 ) Both Mikey and Gerard suffered from Alcoholism, but when Gerard went into therapy, no-one realised Mikey was going through the same process, and when they did pay attention, he had to take a break from recording in hollywood, and make a 50km commute every two days from his apartment and therapist to record. 19) When recording "Vampires Will Never Hurt You", Gerard had a paralysing toothache, amking him unable to sing. He was given painkillers, but they made him slur his words. He had to go for an emergency operation on his wisdom teeth. When he came back, and was given more painkillers, the same thing happened. Their producer, Alex Saavedra, was so sick of him complaining, he went up to him, gave him a hug, and punched him in the mouth. He went straight up to the mic and they nailed the song first time. "It was just the loudest, gnarliest, darkest, most melodic song I'd ever heard. It was ladybug amazing"-Gerard Way 20) "Head First for Halos" started off as a joke song. 21)Our Lady Of Sorrows" was initially called "Bring Me More Knives" 22)"You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison" is Gerards favourite song from "Three Cheers...". He sung it naked, in front of a porn film on silent, to get him in the mood for the song. 23)"Thank You For The Venom" was an outpouring of hate for the emo scene. Kinda hypocritical, don't you think? It's a crowd favourite though, with Gerards rallying cry of "Give me a reason to believe!" 24)"Astro Zombies" is a truly lost classic. If you want to find it, look for Tony Hawk's American Wasteland 25) "Welcome To The Black Parade" was initally called "The Five Of Us Are Dying" And was originally written for the band's debut album, but was never used, until it became the centre peice for the new album 26)Going to an MCR concert is one of the best experiences you will ever have! and finally 27) If anyone says that they are metal or preppy ever again, I will HUNT YOU DOWN!!!!! _________________ Master Of Nothing Lord Of Everything In all... I just wish they would play something besides Welcome to the Black Parade on the radio. Don't get me wrong. I love that song, I just wish they play some other MCR ones. |

Here they play Famous Last Words alot but they're releasing thier next single "I don't love you" soon, such a good song!!!!! The music video is cool to! After I dont love you thier going to release Teenagers, another awesome song

I like all the songs at least a little bit, but Bury me in Black and some other dreadful songs get the taste of MCR. That's why it's just cool. Sometimes MCR's is too weird for me. And all the musicvideos I have seen, Gerard looked like a monkey. Nice music, but awful musicvideos.
