i loved the movie but the the plot was a bit off. And since this movie probably made alot of $ there will probably be movie 2 and 3. Also please give the movie a score on a scale of 1-10.

I really did not like it because it was way to compact and they left off different parts to the movie.

I think everyone thinks the movie had to be exacly like the book. The thing is there is no movie that i have ever seen that is exacly like the book they based it on. The movie isn't perfect, deal with it. im tired of people saying that it was horrible when it really was good. Sure its different but its based on the book. They have to make sure it will be interesting for people who haven't read the book as well as thoes who have and i think they did a pretty good job.

yeah its true the book is always better than the movie. if i didnt read the book id give it a 9/10 and if i did 7/10.(i read both books by the way)

sorry i'm going to sound like a complete pesimist but i thought the movie was pretty bad. 3/10. maybe it's because i love the books so much but honestly they could have done a much better job. I think some of the characters just weren't right for the part. Like Rachel Wies for example. she played Saphira and i like her as an actress but it wasn't right. and Aray. the way someone looks does actually impact their personality. i don't mean that in a superficial way, like dark hair portrays Araya the way she really is, more serious and mysterious. but she was dancing in the woods in a short dress, sorry but no. Thats not her at all. there are other things but i won't go into all of it. But i think the main problem was they tried to put a almost 500 page book into an 1 1/2 movie.

My first thought when I watched the movie at school was that Jamie Oliver was Eragon... the plot was WAY of... Arya... was ok... like the actor but she was in the wrong job, WHY ARE THE RA'ZACC GONE? WHY DID ARYA LEAVE??? BROM DIED IN A DESERT NOT IN A BUSH!

They didn't just miss large chunks of important story out they changed scenes, geography, magic, personailties and what they did have in the movie was mostly wrong.

I think it was good as a movie but I think they did a bad job copying the book into a movie.

If it had been promoted as a movie ie: if it had nothing to do with the books then it would have been really good. However it was specifically made for the books and the numerous failings I noticed ruined it for me.

I thought it was cool. I really liked Murtagh. Though, you notice, they didn't put the scar in the right place and Eragon just hardly got hit with Durza's sword.

Um Kotor, you can't judge who the best-looking guy in the movie was, because you're a guy. Only girls can judge these things properly. I say Murt Head's cuter than Ergo himself, and THAT is saying something.

I have to agree with eragon+arya. Eragon is waaaaaaay hotter than Murtagh. Don't get me wrong, Murtagh is fit but not as fit as Eragon.

3. He acts like Halt sometimes (Grim, morbid)
4. He's got an awesome scar (K k, gotta luv it)
5. Have you SEEN that grin he does near the end of the film? (Melting...melting..."
6. The film messed him up worse than they messed up Ergo (They put the scar on the front instead of back. Idiots...)
7. (There must always be seven) His eyes are the roxerness all the way. Awesome.

As a movie, it blows.....as a movie made from a book, it also wasn't very good. From any angle that i look at it, I just can't find something right about the film. The acting was bad, the plot wasn't thought out cleverly enough to really explain the book, if you didn't read the book you woulda not known what's going on most of the time.

I really am blind, then! XP From the angle at which I saw Murt-Heads' injury it looked like it was on the front lol ^?^

And you're right, they didn't get Ergos' injury right at all. To think, I wasted ten minutes screaming, "GET HIM GET HIM! C'MON DURZY!!" XP And they didn't even do it...-_;
