I have a friends o mine who moved in with me for awhile and he wants to join but it wont let him because we have the same email adress. I dont get why he cant.

Because the computer isnt that smart. It thinks your making another account in place of one thats baqnned, which yours isnt. He really shoulkd get his own e-mail tho.

One email address can be used (or required) to create ONE account. Because one member need to activated his/her account first by clicking an 'activation link' that are sent to their e-mail. Therefore, SF would have known where to contact this particular member if there are something happen, or simply to give report when one's getting a PM. That is why two members cannot possibly share one e-mail address.

If you're using outlook express as the e-mail host, it's very simple for him to create his own e-mail address on the same computer.
