OOC: i think i'll actually be the one to continue the rpg with the old 'wil and kagraign were...' line. haha.

IC:Wil was leaning against a rail.Kagraign, you set? he asked. He was nervous about this. Reb's human spell on Star wasn't supposed to last this long. Wil was wondered if she was in trouble. Yes, Wil. I'm ready to go in after them. Kag replied. Wil looked toward the castle, the setting sun blazing against his face. He anxiously began drawing places in his mind, where to dig, how far down, how far across, and so on. He and Kagraign were going to breach the castle both from the air and underground. Wil knew the perfect spell to blow the rock floor out from under Galbatorix' feet. He began excavating the land, being cautious not to let his air supply collapse as he covered his tracks. He did this by magically digging the dirt out, jumping into the hole, and magically putting the dirt back, where, from above, it didnt look like anyone had been there. He continued to take dirt from the ground below his feet and put it on the 'roof' of his tunnel until he got deep enough that he could go toward the castle. He knew he would make it. He just had to

OOC: guess i didnt start with exactly the line. Star, i'm sorry if this wasnt what you were looking for, a rescue mission, but if it wasnt then i guess Wil and Kag will be causing an unneeded scene in the castle, wont they?

Wil was worn out. He'd been tunneling for the past two hours. He was going up now, and thought he might be somewhere close to the surface. He pulled the next clumps of dirt down, and then felt the ceiling. It was smooth rock. He smiled, for he knew exactly where he was in the castle, just by the floor. The marble gleamed as if magic, even if there was no light. He was under Galbatorix' special throne. This was the only spot in the entire castle that was marble through and through. He uttered the words and the entire floor shot up. He heard the throne smash into the ceiling of the castle, hoping to hear the sickly crunch of Galbatorix' bones with it, but didn't. He blacked out from the magic pressure he'd exerted.

When Wil woke up, he wasn't in chains as he'd thought would happen. He was lying on a soft bed, probably somewhere in the city. He looked up and grabbed his sword as he heard someone walk in the room. "Who is there?" he asked, ready to strike, if neccessary.

OOC: ahh, perfect opening.

Faefnir pushed open the door with his nose and snaked his head in, keeping the rest of his body outside, seeing as how he couldn't fit through the door. It's very dangerous here in Uru'baen. You shouldn't go sneaking about in Galbatorix's castle. You are lucky to be alive. Galbatorix heard the ruckus you made. It wasn't even the right room. You took the decoy he set up, not the actual throne. Now listen carefully. Do not leave this room. We are still within easy sight of the city and the entire army is pratically looking for you.

ic: Cassiopeia was waiting by the fountain, she could tell something was happening and was pretty sure who was responsible too. She was slightly confused, instead of rushing to the castle something had made her wait. Her eyes kept looking at the balcony of a house across from her, she listened carefully and heard the careful unsheathing of a sword and a familiar voice. She waited thoughtfully a moment before muttering "what trouble have you got yourself into this time wil"

Talias walked into the house that Wil was in. "That wasn't very smart of you, Wil." Talias sat down on a chair at the other saide of the room.

OOC: for the record, Wil was not captured. I rescued him after he tried to kill Galby. so we are not in a jail cell, we are in a house just outside the main city complex.

Cassiopeia sensed Wil's mind trying to connect with hers and knew for certain he was inside.
It was an old house and she could easily climb up onto the balcony... But the house was too old in ways, preserved and possibly protected.
She smiled, Let's start simply she thought and with a small smile on her face knocked loudly on the door, using a little magic to make it echo all through the house.

Talias wanders around the house. "So what now, Reb and Star are still in there and soon they will desprety need our help.

IC: Wil jumped up. He knew Reb was in danger, something in the air told him that. He looked to Faefnir. "How do I get out of here?" he asked. Then he noticed another's presence, in a field outside of Uru'Baen. He tried to link minds with the person. He seemed to walk easily in, like the person was drained of energy. Hello, who might you be and do you know what's going on at the castle? he asked.

IC: Emrhyst growled lightly, the diamond on her head flickered lightly as if telling her something. Eriel frowned, she vaugely saw Feafnir in the distance and another dragon fighting with him. "Shruiken..." She muttered under her breath. Speed Emrhyst... Give us speed... Emrhyst roared and flapped her wing furiously.

Cassiopeia sighed at the rude people inside and decided to move on, the castle was where the action was anyway.
Wil i don't know what your doing in there but if you aren't going to communicate i should probably help. Is Reb involved she sent the message to his mind and waited to see if he'd reply.

IC: Yes, Reb is the center of it.Wil said. He again tried to contact the other person.Who are you?

"Quic, Wil, Reb is in troble, we have to go now!" Talias bolted out the door and headed for the city, he knew he had to hurry or else all might be lost.

Eriel felt someone touch her mind. She replied quickly, Nevermind my name. Just tell Feafnir a friend is coming. Emrhyst growled as she spotted the two dragons, Feanir and Shruiken, fighting with tooth and claw. Eriel spied StarGazer a distance away, desperately trying to fly away from the rocks. Emrhyst roared and knocked into Shruiken's side, sending him struggling to regain altitude.

OOC: sorry i must have a go now, the order is out.

IC: Aelir strained his wings as hard as he could, Reb and Star had very little time left. Closer and closer he flew, a doubt in his mind kept saying Why keep going? You can't make it.
Only his will for proving himself to the others as worthy kept him flying. He was almost at them when Star began transforming back into her original form. He knew that Star couldn't finish transforming then grab Reb. He kept flying putting his final reserves into speed. He caught Reb and Star five stories before they hit the ground. He angled up as hard as he could, using his speed to grab as much height as possible, but the weight of Star as she transformed back was becoming too much. If she couldn't fly on her own soon, then he wouldn't make it out of the city.

Keralin gasped at the cool air. He still didn't have enough energy to move but at least he could think clearly now. He felt a voice contact him through his mind. It said; Hello, who might you be and do you know what's going on at the castle?
Reb and Star... Falling... Not enough time... Aelir...
He sent back before losing conciousness.

Wil quickly snapped to attention at the reply. Kagraign, we gotta move. NOW. He yelled, bolting for the door. He ran out, turned to the right, and saw the balcony down the hallway. There was also a hallway leading from that one to the stairs. No time... he thought as he sprinted toward the balcony. He dove from in the room, out of Faefnir's safe house, into the air above the street. He saw Kagraign swoop through the city to catch him. He just barely grabbed onto one of Kag's ivory spikes before being impaled by the others. They flew off toward the castle to try to save the person, Aelir, as he'd called himself. He feared he wouldn't make it to the chasm in time.

OOC: rpm, can you please let this slide? he was trying to continue the rp without too much hassle. can we please just all be civil here and continue our story? maybe that's what Reb had in mind? she DID say that star was starting to transform back to her original self.

As Shruikan struggled with Faefnir, Faefnir suddenly had an idea. Using a method Star taught him, he caught on some currents and lifted up and out of Shruikan's grasp. As Shruikan angled up, Faefnir folded in his wings and started landing straight towards Shruikan. The plan worked perfectly. Shruikan was falling underneath Faefnir's weight and was soon being crushed between Faefnir and the ground. Knowing Shruikan was weakened, Faefnir showed him mercy and only tore off Shruikan's wings. He smiled as Galbatorix screamed at the pain.

ooc: lady of the lost has to go.

Cassiopeia jumped as she Wils exit down the balcony but quickly began sprinting towards the castle. Things looked like they were taking a turn for the worse, she could see a dragon trying to catch Star Gazor who was struggling to change back in time. She sprinted using her knowledge of the town to take shortcuts and arrive at the base of the cliff in time.

Talias ran to the castle where Star and Reb where. when he got to the city wall he grabbed a rope and tied it to his arrow. (ooc:*james bond music*) He took aim and shot it at the top of the wall. The arrow went into the stone wall. Talias climed up and jumped down to saftey and quietly went to the castle.

IC:Wil was glad to know that Reb was safe. He and Kagraign sped toward Shruikan and Star fighting, and couldnt help but think that something was wrong. Suddenly Kagraign barrel-rolled, dodging thousands of arrows pointed his direction. He locked his wings in and fell into a nosedive. When they were close to the ground again, and Kagraign had opened his wings, Wil looked back to see a battalion of archers taking aim once again. Damn it! he thought.

Eriel sighed as she saw a large amount of archers amassing near Wil and Kagraign. Emrhyst landed in front of the archers, sending some mud and stone flying towards them. She growled and plunged into the archers, only to be met by some swords and pikemen. Eriel dismounted and drew her blade, it flashed green as some of the light in the castle bounced off it.

Cassiopeia swore as she saw the ferocios attack on Wil and instantly set into action. Building up the wind she merged it with flames and released it on the numerous ranks of archers. Panic ensued and she headed for the tunnels this time she was going to remove Galbatorix once and for all!

OOC: I've said it before and I'll say it again. *Coughs* KAERASMAN!! HOW DARE YOU USE THE SPELL I THOUGHT OFF, ADD A WORD INTO IT, AND USE THE SAME EFFECT! *Coughs* Rant over but really Kaeras, at least ask before you use what I invented for my charrys.

IC: Eriel frowned. "Arget Evarinya Garjzla." Her sword not green but glowing with a strong silvery green light." Her eyes blackened even more as she jumped on the blade of a soldier, sliced his back and landed on her feet. She stopped her ears as he screamed in pain and continued killing man, after man.

OOC: sorry, eriel. i havent been on here in so long except on this and to finish a plan gone wrong that i kinda forgot that you created the dream fire spell... or was it dream dragon? idk. but i'm still really sorry. dream dragon fire is just my variation of your creation... well, again, and i cant say it enough...sorry... but, i mean, it's all Christopher Paolini's true creation, we as fans just think up new ways to use his words effectively.

OOC: Since it has been 6 days and noone has posted, I'll go.

IC: Eriel ran at the man who was supposedly a lieutenant of the battalion. As she swung, the man blocked her attack and punched her throat with a mail backed glove. He smirked as Eriel stepped back afew paces and knelt on the ground coughing a little blood out. "Puny elf." He laughed. Eriel frowned at him. Flames started appearing on the edge of her eyes and were licking their way to her pupils. The tiara of fire on her head was forming and her sword already had two jets of water intertwined with each other which met at the tip in a fountain of water. She frowned at him then smiled dangerously as she noticed him cringed. She ran towards him silently and plunged her blade into his chest.

Faefnir continued struggling with Shruikan. He seemed to be stronger than previous skirmishes he had.

OOC: in other words, pass.

IC: Wil was torn between choices: make sure Reb was okay and help Faefnir with Shruikan, or go back and help Eriel-who clearly didnt need help but would probably appreciate it-to destroy the troops. He decided to go with the latter. Kagraign swung around, knowing Wil's decision at the precise moment he'd thought it. Wil pulled Mor'ranr out as they approached the now-scattering battalion. Good job, Eriel. You scared them all off. he thought playfully to himself. Wil leapt off Kagraign as the dragon let forth a torrent of flame from his great maw. He rolled as he hit the ground and stabbed the soldier in front of him. Quickly pulling his blade from the man's bleeding back, Wil cut down four more before they even knew he was there. When the element of surprise was gone, Wil turned to magic. Brisingr! he shouted, and his blade was engulfed in green flame. Soldiers backed off as he lunged, cutting down a score of Galbatorix' so-called finest blades and bows. He had a count of three hundred before five minutes had passed. Meanwhile, Kagraign had some luck as well. When he first landed, he bit into one of the soldiers. Deciding he didn't like the taste of human, he incinerated the body, threw it down, and started slamming his tail into soldiers. This worked well, both as a weapon of attack and intimidation. He and Wil shared a link the whole time, both of them wondering how Faefnir was faring against Shruikan.

Why not? I'm at 300 already, by the way. he thought back. He mirrored Eriel's wink, then immediately focused on the fight. He first knelt close to the ground, knowing Eriel was keeping an eye on his progress. When he felt the soldiers surround him and prepare to attack, he yelled, Thrysta brisingr! and knocked the soldiers back with a wall of flame. He smelled the carnage before he saw the burnt out shells of armor and the smoldering carcasses. There was a cirlce at least twenty wide. Sadly for you, that makes 45 more for me. You'd better have some strong magic, although this is depressing, wasting good men like this. he thought, all of it directed at Eriel. He wasn't going to do it again though, because he felt the sadness of each soldier before they passed through the Vault. It was enough to drive a normal person mad. Wil decided to stick with the blade after that. He cut down five more, but without magic, each one took him a minute. Breathing heavily, Wil proudly announced to Eriel his 350th kill of the day. The sky was starting to turn colors, though. It had gone from a bright blue to a hazy red in the time that Wil had taken fighting. This one, he feared, would last for weeks on end.

Oh, for the love of...! Wil shouted. He'd seen Murtagh leap just before Aelir hit. He rushed toward where he figured Murtagh would go: the king. He sprinted to the castle doors. Good, the doors haven't been obliterated He thought. Kagraign chuckled inside their minds at that. He'd headed to help with Thorn. Wil couldn't worry about them though. Murtagh was coming straight up the street in front of him. Wil stood at the castle doors, not sure what to expect. He drew Mor'ranr and waited. Suddenly, he felt a blast of heat as the heavy oak doors behind him were blown off their hinges. He just barely got out of the way in time. As he landed, still facing the oncoming Murtagh, Wil looked out of the corner of his eye. His hopes sank. Galbatorix was stepping out of the new permanent hole in his castle, sword in hand. As Wil was looking, Murtagh arrived in front of him and drew his hand-and-a-half sword. Wil was in trouble. He hoped that someone would come looking for him soon. Otherwise, when they found him it would be in pieces.

Faefnir smiled at Star as she rammed into Shrukan and joined the battle.

OOC: i dunno if she's been on in the last few days, so i'll take a go before you guys swallow my turns up completely

IC: Wil was surprised at how fast the two women had reacted. He wasn't sure what else he could do to help, except kick Murtagh away from Eriel and try to help heal her wound. He isolated Murtagh and pointed Mor'ranr at his throat. Where's your pride now? Was following Galbatorix, possibly the most insane person alive, a good choice? he asked. You don't get it. I HAD no choice. Galbatorix knew my true name, and Thorn's as well. We were forced to be his slaves the boy shot back. Wil still wasn't sure.
Meanwhile, Kagraign was trying to help fight Thorn. Being seven years old, Kagraign had a bit of growth on Thorn, but the little wretch had attained power from some outside source, making him bigger, faster, and stronger than Kagraign. The dragon feared that his enemy would be corrupted.

Eriel smiled at Wil as he helped heal her wound. She quickly stood and brushed herself off then walked over to Galby.
