Predestined Genocide

Crimson watched his soldiers slaughter a group of nomads they ambushed during the night. The battle had been brief but fierce, he hadn't expected there to be three nomadic dragons, but they died just like their human counter parts. His eyes swelled with pride and determination as his soldier's stormed through the camp, he joined them in the slaughter, killing all who resisted and capturing those who did not. A ring of fire had been set up around the camp, to try and lour in more nomads to their deaths, and to make ceremony of what was about to commence. All of those that survived the attack had been rounded up in their center of the circle. First they witnessed the torching of their wagons and belongings, then forced to consume the flesh of their fallen brethren, and now they would watch as one another burned alive, Crimson made sure magic wards would keep the smoke from killing them. The nomads had caused him so much trouble, and they sought to unite against him, but no more, now he would follow and kill them where ever they went in the desert until the last of their kin were dead.
"Release the flames!" he shouted. At once his mages set fire to the wood surrounding the people tied to stakes along with the corpses of the three dragons. The men, woman, and children begun to scream as the fire bit at them, it was music to Crimson's ears.
