yes there is a reason Selina left Eragon with him uncle and aunt. She had seen Angela the which, who had told her future, and in desperate attempts to save her baby-she left him with her brother

I suppose she had to go back to Morzan, and if she didn't he might come looking for her and find Eragon too.

I think she left him with her brother because she wanted to protect him and she probably knew that if she stayed with him Morzan would find them both and do who knows what to them. I also think that what Angela told her also came into play somewhere in there.
