 OpetShinta perched on the towering behemoth of a cathedral, still and silent, watching over the city below as the frigid night breeze gently flowed over him. He saw 4 guards lumbering around a corner and into an alleyway with their swords drawn.
'It seems they are still looking for me. The death of the 'beloved' mayor has obviously made an impact. I should get away to avoid any further conflict...' He fastened his gloves, bent his legs and thrust himself off of the lofty spire and down towards the next one below, freezing cold air whooshing over him. |

Re: Opet Galedrim walked through the city, he had been ordered by Galbatorix to find someone. He wasn't sure who it was, but he knew the person's discription. Though he did follow the king's orders to hunt the person down, he couldn't help but also try to find Equinox, Quasar, Eris, and Throat Ripper. Though for them mainly thanks to dumb luck they managed to escape. Galedrim saw someone on a nearby cathedral. He followed the person and he himself used magic to jump on it.
That may be the person I'm after. Re: Opet Sid looked down. The city was a mess. The guards seemed like tiny ants, running around to find the intruder who had killed their queen. This seemed to amuse Sid a lot. The guards with their royal blue capes and shiny armour
seemed quite impressive. But there was someone who didn't seem to fit into all the chaos. Can you get lower? Sid asked Emerald. Without replying, Emerald dipped his wings and soard downwards, slowly. Thats enough, I can see clearly now. Sid told Emerald via their mental link. The hooded person, who had been watching all the chaos below from the cathedral, got up. Something about him told Sid not to reveal his presence. The got up and jumped onto another spire below him. Right at that moment, another man suddenly apeared on the spire. Magic... Si thought. "Emerald, stay high above. We cannot be seen. Let me deal with these guys, I think we have found the murderer." Sid told him. If anything happens Sid, I will rip their hearts out and feed them to the demons... Please be careful. Remember last time? You got drugged and and then were kidnapped by that scoundral whom we met in Surda...But of course you were more than a match for him, but I still want you to be careful. I will be watching.And with that, Emerald flipped up-side down. Sid fell about a thousand feet and landed on the same spire. Emerald turned upwards and flapped his massive wings. Soon he was so high that even with his spectacular eyesight, he had to squint slightly to see Sid. "So, who do we have here?" Sid asked aloud, in a cocky tone. _________________ Bonjour le monde! Re: Opet Reb rolled her eyes, "Men!" She thought to herself. They younger they were the more they thought themselves capable to take on the world. She didn't say a word as three of them apeared. One a rider, one the empire's hunter, and the other a murderer. "A lively bunch if I do say so myself." Reb muttered and then crouched low on the battlements, watching, listening. She had seen many things in her long life, but this looked to be promisingly entertaining. She would let them confront themselves before she stepped in.
She made sure to cloak herself as she crept closer, her sword in her hands. She also made sure to dim her eyes so their white irises wouldn't glow like they usually did. |

Re: Opet Shinta could have sworn he heard something, similar to a voice, but he dismissed it as being the wind and didn't stop his rapid descent towards the eastern city wall. He landed on a chimney, kicked off with one foot and landed perched on the huge stone structure of the eastern wall. he took one last look back at the confused city, then jumped down off of the wall and swiftly made his way away from the city of Opet.

Re: Opet Galedrim saw the man run toward's the city of Opet. He grabbed his sword and sprinted after him. He thought he saw two others somewhat near him, but he only focused on his main objective. He sneered as the thought of Quasar, and the others. How much of a shock it was to them, that he betrayed them.
