TRANSMISSION BEGINS:

"Babbnod thinks I'm crazy to bother keeping this log, but I say it will keep me sane. And it's a sign we're not going to be here long. Captain's got to set an example. Besides, charging the recorder -- and our weapons -- keeps the generators on the ship from overheating. The engines shouldn't be running on the ground like this, even at low power, but I can't take the chance that she'll die on us altogether. So for now, we run the engines to power the systems. It's dangerous, but the crew knew this wasn't going to be a pleasure cruise when they signed on. Running a capital ship isn't for the easily frightened."

"A few- [STATIC] -picked up a Mandalorian scouting patrol near [STATIC] -told them we had to jump whether the calculations were done or [STATIC] don't consider it running, not one bit. I made a strategic decision. We jumped."

"A few- [STATIC] -the Astromech exploded, which is when we lost Nrross. Trandoshans might be able to grow arms back, but with his- [STATIC] – ing to miss him, and I'll miss his skills as an intimidation enhancement. Wasn't bright, but he was a yes man. Janah took what was left of astronavigation. She said she put us in the Corporate Sector, which made as much sense as anything -- I'd asked the Droid for the fastest jump out of the line of fire. He's lucky he blew up."

"The starlines turned a bright red as we- [STATIC] -flew [STATIC] -fire from out of nowhere. I mean that literally. There was simply nothing on scanners, nothing to target, blast it, except their shots. And whatever they were, they weren't staying in one place long enough to draw a bead. Whatever planet this was that just popped up in front of us was heavily defended."

There was a look of fear as the captian shouted to the others, when they all told him that they hadn't heard anthing he returned to the camara.

"Babb says she found something in the library computer that might give her some idea where we are, if not who shot us down. Some ancient star charts I'd picked up at an Outer Rim junk dealer were actually the key. Until then, we've got to get the normal ship's systems back up so we can stop running the engines, or we're going to be as dead as this hunk of [STATIC] - as well go see what's out there. I think she might be right. And I don't think our mysterious friends up in orbit are going to leave us all alone down here for long.”

"By the force! [STATIC] -en fire you foo- [STATIC] -hey've got Hississ[STATIC] dark d[STATIC] Ge- [STATIC] he- [STATIC] *Inane babble* [TRANSMISSION INTURUPTED]

After a short burst of static the picture returned barley stable but it was there. Only the wounded captain remained.

[NO AUDIO]... but they won't get me, I'm going to send this to the Republic," with a few clicks the bleeding captain activated the transmitter- only to see the door to his hiding place burst open, "No!"

A scream of defiance died on his lips as a huge black dragon-like lizard suddenly leaped on him. Stepping through the hatch a black hooded figure appeared and patted the dark creature; it purred at the shadows touch and wrapped its tail around the shadow- like a cat. Two ice cold words could be heard form the shadows mouth as he activated a single scarlet bladed Lightsaber, “We’re Coming,” the only source of light in the room was the glittering of the Dragons and the blood red blade as the shadow threw the saber at the camera.

well you should write some more to it. lol its a really good start.

Well originally it was going to be the opening to a Knights Of The Old Republic fan fiction... but when I presented the rest of the chapters I got smoked and deleted all but the opening - which was all anyone could agree on as being good

and you lost all the rest? I would love to read the rest if you still have it. and if you dont want to or cant post it here then you can send it to me but if you dont have the rest of it I think you should start writing it again because it is a really good start and I have faith that the rest will be as good as the start who cares what everyone else has to say. if someone likes it its good.

lol, you know I started this story using a prompt I found on an old RP site about a pirate crew how crashed on a planet full of monsters. I used that to come up with this and it was the openning to the fiction

Since I got so many bad reviews I lost interest in the story and wiped it
