IC: Eriel felt a smile tug at her lips. She resisted for a moment then stopped and embraced him back. "I don't believe it... Just one night... and this..." Eriel trailed off, lost in thought and emotion.

OOC: Would Abdomen have been better? I just meant in that general area.

IC: Keralin simple had no words for the occasion. He was too stunned with emotions to think clearly. A burst of memories broke through his mind then, of his time with Meridel.

Keralin just recieved the news of having a child, emotions flowing through him. He had no idea of what would happen, what would need doing, how he should be helping. Keralin and Meridel looked at each other, confusion running through them both.
"Is it true?" Meridel asked.
Keralin put his hand on Meridel's abdomen and felt for life. Sure enough what the monk had said was true, she was pregnant.
"It is true." Keralin said, his hands shaking.
Meridel was about to say something back to him when an explosion rocked the ground. Both Keralin and Meridel grabbed their swords and spun their backs to each other, ready for anything that would be coming. Screams of women and children rang through the air, the battle cries of men and the clash of swords followed just a moment later. Keralin and Meridel looked at each other and ran for the opposite exit, starting just before the swarms of panicked citizens ran for the same exit. A second explosion went off in the direction they were headed for and women with their children started running in the opposite direction. Keralin lost sight of Meridel in the swarms of people, then the Draconians appeared. They slaughtered everyone in their path, laughing as they did so. Keralin drew his sword and started to do what he did best, kill. He reached out with his mind to find Meridel and found her not too far off fighting another group of Draconians. Keralin fought with all his strength and managed to get within sight of her, her slender image hacking down every draconian in her way. Keralin ran as fast as he could towards her, being stopped only meters away by fleeing citizens. All he could do was watch as five surrounded her and swung.
"Meridel!" He screamed out from the top of his lungs. The swords decended and cut through her easily, taking her life from her. Time seemed to slow at that moment as he watched her fall slowly to the ground.
"NOOO!" Keralin forced his power outwards, ridding everything in his way. He bent over Meridel, preparing a spell to heal her wounds, but as he got closer he could see the life had completely left her. He sat there staring at her face for the longest time, the features changed slightly, her face becoming more elven. Keralin saw the face of Eriel in the body of Meridel. A blinding shadow closed over his eyes, speaking with a voice of its own. You are mine!

Keralin bowed over in agony, grasping his head. He screamed in horror and pain, his eyes closed shut. Keralin's form darkened slightly, his balance wavering. His scream changed into a cry of agony and anger.

Aelir felt the pain radiating from Keralin and shut his mind from it, but he felt something else before he shut it completely. He forced his way into Keralin's mind, trying to calm him down.
Keralin! This hasn't happened, Eriel is here! Open your eyes! He felt then the force of something dark, something evil.
Eriel! He needs you now!

OOC: If you are reading carefully, you will notice a clue here of what I have planned.

OOC: *shrug*... Either N or K going nuts I suppose?

IC: Eriel looked on horrified for a second, her mind too shocked to respond when Aelir contacted her.
She walked up to her mate and forced herself into his mind.
"Keralin!" Eriel shouted out, her voice resounding off the walls of her mate's mind.
"Keralin!" Eriel shouted again, louder this time.
A chill crept up her spine slowly, forcing the elf to turn around. The elf let out a short gasp of shock and jumped into the air, a ball of electricity forming in her palm which was pointed at the figure.

OOC: I got bored and needed something to continue otherwise my post would've been a few sentances only. I figure this is a turning point for my character, whether he chooses to keep the past or live for the future.
As for Nilarek, he won't be coming till they (Keralin and Eriel) get back to Alagaesia.

IC:Keralin fought off the shadows within his mind, images of Eriel getting killed fought their way through his mind. He felt his control slipping again, his body becoming weaker by the moment and his leg burning like the fires of his soul. I will not become shadow again! Keralin screamed furiously in his mind.
Once shadow... Always shadow. An answer came.
Not this time!
She is dead because of you, what else is there to live for?
Keralin struggled with the answer when a voice interrupted his own thoughts.
"Keralin!"
Stop it! I can't take it! Keralin's mind was on the verge of fracturing. A proud, noble voice told him that she was alive while one that was smooth and angry told him that she was dead. The voice came again but louder;
"Keralin!"
Keralin knew whose voice that was and how it sounded. It sounded alive. I said before I will not be a slave to you, even if that means sacrificing my mortal shell. I know where you powers comes from and I will make sure you never are released again! Meridel, goodbye. Keralin snatched the memories of her and her demise from his mind, sealing them within magic. With that the shadows that had constantly plagued his thoughts were sealed as well. Keralin cast them off into the far reaches of his mind, never to be found again.

Keralin fell to his knees, his arms falling to his sides, he was breathing heavily. He fell forwards, his arms stopping him from hitting the ground. "I choose the now over the then." Keralin said to himself.

Aelir growled dangerously at the figure that approached.

OOC: Okay then. Here comes a little (more) trouble.

IC: Eriel released a burst of light from her other palm, leading her eyes to a certain Mudir who had his spear raised at the rider.
"You don't want to fight me Mudir." Eriel warned.
"And get out of his mind too. You're not welcome." Just then Eriel felt a sharp pain radiate from her back, causing the elf to withdraw from her mate's mind.
Eriel turned around to face the elf who had his spear through her back.
She shot out a beam of light from her eyes and sank into a battle stance, ignoring her wound.

Eriel nodded and started to heal her wound, making sure each layer of tissue was totally whole before progressively moving outwards towards the skin.

Eriel sat next to Keralin and reached into his sack, taking out a piece of food.
"So..."Eriel said softly. "We leave after this right?" She sighed and looked at the forest behind them with a faraway gaze, her mind wandering back to Ellesmera...

OOC: -I'm kinda blank atm...

Eriel mentally nudged her mate. Leo??
"My name is Audrey." Eriel replied, enchanting her voice to make it seem higher, like a girl's. "I'm his apprentice." She said, guessing what the next question would be.

OOC: Okay... not too sure what's happening...

OOC: Basically, they're gaining entrace to the city. After all this land is in a constant state of war..... as you're going to find out soon enough

I'll tell you later. He said back.
"Very well, I'm sure you can find your way to the docks. Anything that we decide is endagering our city will be met with by force." With that the attendant walked inside the walls beckoning to them. Keralin took one last look outside acknowledging the pillar of smoke before entering. Eriel followed behind. When they were through Keralin led Eriel towards the docks, speaking along the way.
"Leo was my first actual friend here in this land, even though he was human. If I had more time I would visit his grave. I met him after I recieved this wound," Keralin patted his leg slightly. "and after I was brought to Unfrecia he brought me back from death. He was also the one that gave me the courage to fight for what I believe in, if not for him I would not be the same person I am now." As Keralin finished his story both warriors noticed they had reached the docks. "I don't see the boat here, it must be late."

Eriel looked at her mate, wondering if she should blow their cover now.

OOC:-Pass

Eriel groaned. 'Oh yeah put me in a dilemma too!' She said in frustration and climbed up a tower, kneeling below the parapet. She clenched her bow tightly then notched and fired it at the draconians, waving aside a javelin hurling at her with ease, thrusting it back through the soldier.

OOC:-Err.. Okay...

OOC: Are you blank? Caus I have an idea for this RP...

OOC: It was going to be the last battle before the end of this little adventure, but yeah I did kinda run out of ideas.

OOC: Ahh lol. Explains. Err. I was thinking of our dear fugitive's ship coming in right about... now. And he happens to have hired some draconian mercenaries to kill our charries?

Keralin clashed with the draconian army, cutting and slashing his way through. He tried his hardest to save every elf he could, using magic in rare cases.

OOC: Well... This Rp is approaching it's end quite soon...

OOC: Ya, me too. As a moderator I have an open door policy, in which anyone is free to join my threads. Just read the past page or two to know what has happened. I'll make another thread soon.
Also, I think it's cute how you call me Keralin sometimes

Keralin saw the blade coming towards the both of them and, in a lapse of judgement, dove in front of it with swords to block. Keralin's voice spoke with an usual edge to it, "You'll have to go through me to get to her!" The only problem was now his statement was true as he couldn't move without the blade he was blocking getting through him and going to Eriel. Keralin pulled a very risky move, he lifted his leg and kicked the draconian in the stomach. The draconian staggered back and tried to grab his breath while Keralin hopped on his foot and attempted to regain his balance. Keralin felt a strange sensation then, something he had not felt in a very long time. The cold bite of steel.
He looked down and saw the sword of an elven mercenary had pierced through his side and there was blood pouring down his side. Time seemed to stop then where Keralin couldn't move or say anything. All he felt was the pain. He brought his swords up and turned with the sword still sticking into his side. Both of his swords hit the elf, one stabbing his heart and the other lopping off his head. He coughed from the effort and spurted up blood then with a great deal of pain he pulled the sword from his side and uttered the words, "Weise Heil."
The wound closed and Keralin felt the magic take more effect than it should have. It didn't have the spirit poison, but it did have something on it.
"Careful, their tips are poisoned with something!" Keralin called out to Eriel.

OOC: xD Whoops. lawl I err... Hm... I type what I think most of the time... err... Ok, I am officially embarrassed now. xD I'll edit it, and if you dare edit it back... Err... I'll find a way to get back at you...


IC: Eriel's eyes went wide as the blade passed into Keralin's flesh. So shocked was she that it took her a second or two to answer him. "I know. I can smell it." Eriel frowned and placed a powerful ward that guarded her mate's body from internal harm.
"Be careful. I don't want you to risk your life just so that I may keep mine." The elf let out a wry smile and pushed her spear tip into the side of an elf, her eyes gleaming with tears of regret though her lips were curved up in a smile of blood lust.
He lunged fiercely at the dragon rider and used his weight to his advantage and forced Eriel to remove her spear as he swung. Sparks flew as blade met shaft. The elf grinned and pressed forward, drawing a little blood before Eriel's boot met his sensitive spot. The elf staggered backwards, cursing in pain. Eriel took a few seconds to laugh as the elf staggered backwards then fell onto his back. He jerked one final time as Eriel's spear found it's mark in his neck.

Also, I was re-reading the first few pages and I saw something that I could use right now.

Keralin kept fighting and for each enemy that fell, another took it's place. As he cut down yet another draconian a glimmer of luck seemed to shine on him as he saw an elf with a particular tattoo. The tattoo of a scar on his cheek. It was his target, the elf that had started the whole mess.
"There he is!" Keralin called to Eriel. He brought his swords to bear and cleared the way as best he could attempting to get to the man before he disappeared from his sight. It was then that Keralin noticed the sky growing dark, extremely fast.
Careful Keralin, the flying-metal-balloons are back! Aelir warned.
Keralin dared a look upwards and finally understood the escape plan for the fugitive.
"He's going to climb aboard the Zeppelin, we have to move NOW!"

OOC:O..kay........I'll take that as a yes.

IC:
Felecia was walking through the large city looking for a place for her to rest, she had been traveling for days, if not weeks, to get to this place, when all hell broke loose. She drew her long blade and warned Ebony, Felecia noticed that the creatures were Draconian. She muttered under her breath,"I wonder if the Dark Queen is behind this attack." she grabbed a dagger from her clothes and threw it toward a draconian. The dagger hit his chest and stabbed his heart. She wielded her sword dangerously and looped off a head, then she saw Keralin and Eriel. She started making a path towards them. She smiled at them,"Well hello there." she said.

Ebony killed a small doe and took it to a place for him to feed, he hated being away from Felecia for a long amount of time, but he realized that she couldn't always sleep on the ground like he could. He sighed, then settled down to eat his kill. Ebony lifted his head slightly when Felecia warned him of a fight in the city, but he didn't think it was to severe, so he decided not to jump up and go to her aide just yet, but he kept himself alert for her call, just in case she did need him.

OOC: Would have been nice if there was a sentence of two explaining why they were there in the first place. It's something I notice now that I've taken a writing class, it makes it very annoying because I can't just ignore it when I want to write something here now. Also knowing where Ebony is would be helpful.

Keralin continued to hack his way through the soldiers, the numbers finally thinning as the elven protectors became organized. That didn't mean that he could rest though, it meant that he had to fight harder in order to finally regain the peace. The appearance of Felecia was a great relief as well as he knew that with three riders the draconians didn't stand a chance, not the mention that he could capture the criminal with the spell he had devised many days ago. His swords blazed, seeming to thrive in the fountains of blood they were creating. Keralin's steps were precise and deadly, each one bringing him closer to his target and each one end the life of another draconian. If there was one thing that Keralin had kept engrained into his mind when he was training it was this; always make your enemy fear you. By not slowing down with all the enemies that suddenly charged him, Keralin showed that he would get to him no matter what. His tactic worked for the moment, the man's eyes widened and he took a step back. He chanced a look upwards to the zepplin, which was slowly making it's way over, and looked for the rope that would be his salvation.
Almost there. Keralin thought.

OOC: Erm... Eriel's 'Injury' was all an illusion...

OOC:I'm sorry if I'm being harsh and all but Eriel isn't injured...
What happened was that guy cast an illusion and in it whatever harm is done upon him is reflected back to the attacker. But it's just an illusion, so when he 'kills' them in it, they escape from the illusion and find that all thier injuries were fake and that they havn't moved a spot from the time he casted the illusion on them.

IC: "Yeah. I'm fine..." Eriel said softly and glanced at Keralin then released the spell and rushed for the fugitive.
He grinned and started mouthing a spell when Eriel cast her own, shutting the man's mouth shut with ice. Eriel grinned then charged forward and impaled a draconian that stood in her way.

Felecia looked at Eriel uncertainly,"Okay, if you say so." she said. She glanced over at the man that they were pursuing, she bounded past Eriel and Keralin, stopping in front of the man. She turned around and faced her friends,"Why are you chasing this man?" she asked, weaving a spell in her mind and casting it, making the ice over the mans mouth melt. Thanks... he muttered in her mind. Felecia's eyes flashed black.

Zana watched from Felecia's mind, getting quite curious as to why Felecia was protecting, or seeming to protect, this man. Even she didn't know all her hosts secrets.

Ebony roared in pain as a spear, directed by magic, punctured his left back leg, he grunted and pulled it out with magic, then healed it. He dove down toward the small-annoying-Draconian army, killing at least ten soldiers. Ebony spotted Aelir, but didn't fly towards him. Why are Eriel and Keralin chasing that man? he asked, perplexed.

Out of know where, Felena came soaring down from the sky in dragon form, her wings beating effortlessly. She scaned the city with her eyes, she saw tough-elf-Keralin, pregnant-elf-Eriel, and hurt-host to Zana-Felecia. Felena looked to her left and saw black-wise-Ebony, then to her right and saw blue-mate to Emrhyst-Aelir. She contacted them both. Okay, what by the first dragon is going on here? she asked. Ebony looked at her, surprised to see her there. You would have to ask Aelir, he said, before returning his attention back to the city.

"Move!" Keralin shouted, ending the casting of his spell. "Jierda!" He cast against the other Draconians to keep them away. The spell fatigued him but he knew he couldn't back down.
"I am chasing this man because he has found out the secret to dark magic! If he continues then he will become a terror to this land as I was!" Keralin's knuckles whent white from his grip around the sword. "I have to take that memory from him before..." He shuddered at the memory. "Before the shadows take control."

What? Aelir said perplexed. He looked up from the ocean and saw Ebony. Keralin is going after another pointy-eared-elf. He dabbled in forbidden magic, the type that corrupted my rider years ago before I hatched. You'll have to ask him about it later.

OOC: Sorry, I get confused. You have too many characters for me to keep a hold of. I edited it.
Also, since you have made the character yours I'll have you control it. I also have to say that if you do have another character like this you cannot use them in another thread. Otherwise I'll have to get you to make another application.

"Your brother." Keralin said slowly. He turned to the brother then. "So how much did you use?" He asked him. "Or don't you know?"
"Know what?" He asked.
Keralin didn't know whether to smile or be sad then. "The price of Dark magic. It's forbidden for a reason. Dark magic used the energy from your soul, your essence, your entire being. Use too much and you're entire spirit will dissapate into nothingness. If you're asking how I survived from using so much, I won't tell. That is a secret that none deserve to know, nor should anyone use. I will say though that your spirit will recover, it just takes time. No amount of energy can change that."

OOC: Just explaining what it is to use Dark magic here, pretty much pass otherwise.

IC: Eriel expanded her consciousness from Keralin's mind, killing all the draconians with the third word of death. As she did so, she noticed a sharp bright flare in her mind, focusing closely, the elf made out the essence of the dark magic around it in the form of black tendrils.
Eriel nudged Keralin's mind sharply and screamed into it to turn.

OOC: I have no idea what just happened, is Bane attacking Eriel or what?

OOC:
No, he's guarding her back from this 'fiend' that 'needs' her.

Keralin turned to Eriel and asked, "What's going on? I need to know exactly what coming or I won't be able to create a proper counter." Keralin reached for Eriel's mind, frantically trying to percieve what was coming.
It's not coming from there! Aelir said to Keralin. Look up!
Keralin didn't know what he meant, it didn't make sense to look up. Unless... The skyship!! Keralin ran to the rope that had dropped and started to climb it as fast as he could. Pathetic. Aelir said, jumping out of the water and flying at Keralin. Keralin jumped off the rope and onto Aelir's back, Aelir then flew upwards carrying Keralin with him. As he flew he saw the being responsible, a shade.

OOC: I would use Nilarek but he has not appeared yet.

Bane yelped in pain as something wounded his left leg. Felecia jumped towards him and yanked Ragell off, letting Zana have control in the process. Zana drew her sword and faced Alcioraell,"Hello there." she said, then shot several fire balls at her.

Ebony roared and swiped at Alcioraell, but missed. Aelir! Try to call Emrhyst! Her Rider needs her NOW! he yelled at Aelir. he lunged at Alcioraell, not intending to injure her, but at least make her regret hurting Eriel.

Felena shrieked as Alcioraell took over the body. She injected herself into her mind, searching for Eriel,"What have you done with Eriel!" she screamed.

OOC:
I got a little confused with your post Eriel, but I think i got it figured out.

Alcioraell laughed. "Harm her? Who said anything about that?" She smirked. "I know you have a child Keralin, and I know who holds it." The elf laughed and with sheer force of will yanked Ragell back into her hands and waved aside the fireballs, causing them to slam into various objects around them. Alcioraell recoiled mentally as a voice broke through her defenses. She laughed mentally. Where is she? She then paused. Foolish girl... She is dead! She took advantage of Felena's shock and pushed her out then lunged to the side as Ebony came crashing down. (OOC: Btw, Alcioraell's not a shade... She's Eriel's darkness.) You're weak... Alcioraell sent a powerful mental message to Ebony then turned back to her host's mate. "I am way more skilled than Eriel was Keralin. But that won't matter, she's mentally and physically dead." Alcioraell laughed and lunged at Keralin, trapping their blades between each other and looked at him in the eyes in an attempt to trap him in an illusion.


Emrhyst roared. Yes yes I know! She's hurting... And my mind is hurting even more. The dragoness shrieked in pain and took off from Northern Du Weldenvarden. Don't let Alcioraell look you in the eye, or you'll get caught in an illu- She stopped as she felt the partner-of-heart-and-soul-of-her-nest mate Keralin get caught in one. Aelir! Get yourself into Keralin's mind now!

Alcioraell smirked. It's over for you... Then drove her blade into her own abdomen. (OOC: Illusions are underlined)

Ebony snarled as Alcioraell called him weak. You want to see power? I'll give you power! he shouted, but before he could let his anger go, she shoved her own sword into her abdomen. He raised what would of been an eyebrow at her. Do you really think a dragon would fall for that? I know that's an illusion, then without warning his scales, eyes, and spikes all turned red. He had lowered his head for the change, now he lifted it, and glowered at Alcioraell with his red eyes. You say I'm weak, do you have access to the Ancient Dragons power like I do?! he lifted a taloned paw and clenched it shut, like he was gripping something. A dozen or so Lethrblaka and Ra'zac rose from the earth. Ebony opened his maw and roared louder than he ever had before in his life, straight at Alcioraell. His red eyes pulsed with hate, and anger, all in all, he looked quite menacing at the moment. Ebony thought he saw a flicker of fear cross her face, but it disappeared so fast, he thought he imagined it.

Felena growled,"No, Eriel is in there somewhere, I felt it." she hissed. She jerked her head up as she felt green-Emrhyst heading for the city. She luanched into the air and sped toward her as fast as her wings would beat. Felena shifted to an even larger dragon and beat her massive wings. She finally found Emrhyst, in pain, trying to fly to her Rider and help her. Calm down Emrhyst, I'll shield you from the pain, she said gently, reaching for her mind and waiting for Emrhyst to allow her entry.

Zana hissed as Alcioraell plunged her own sword into her abdomen,"Don't waste your energy trying that with me, I'm not tricked so easily." she said, knowing that it was an illusion. She slowly approached Alcioraell,"What have you done with Eriel? I know she isn't dead, another friend of mine has a dark side, I actually think you've heard of him, I know how to deal with the likes of you. And you do say that you are powerful, but have you ever battled with a Shade?" she asked, brandishing her sword, Deyja, or Death.

Suddenly a white wolf darted to Zana's side. Hello Ella, Zana said, Ella grinned. Hello Zana, having fun? Zana laughed through their link. Actually, yes I am. By the way, where's Zeke? she asked, glancing up at the sky before returning her gaze to Alcioaell. He's close, closer than you think, Ella said with a chuckle.

Zeke circled over head, calculating when he should dive and attack dark-personality-Alcioraell. He flexed his talons, eager for a fight, but not savagely so. His wings were getting tired, he had to land soon. Finally he decided he couldn't wait any longer, he dived down and landed next to Ebony with a teeth jarring thud. Zeke smiled at his dragon-friend-Ebony, then sensed his anger was loose. That's a good idea, he thought. Zeke shuddered and his icy blue eyes darkened to black, light purple scales slowly changed until they were black as coal, his ivory spikes turned grey, then pitch black. He snarled at Alcioraell, saw her dragons at her side (OOC: The only time that Zeke can actually see with his eyes, is when his anger is out, but he doesn't like to let it loose, so he doesn't get to see very often. Just in case you were wondering why he could suddenly see.) He stretched his wings upward as far as they would go, then lowered them a little. Zeke snarled and slowly advanced on Alcioraell, lowering his wings to his side. If you've hurt Eriel, your going to wish you didn't exist, he said, and snapped his jaws, flames roiling in his mouth and nostrils.

Bane quickly healed the wound and faced Alcioraell, brandishing Durna in his left hand.

Sorry about that Eriel, I assumed Alcioraell was a shade.

Erm... The dragons at her side are really just tattoos on her robe No special significance.
Events in her mind are bolded.

IC: Alcioraell smiled to herself.

Alcioraell slowly walked towards Eriel who was pinned against a wall by four daggers at her shoulders and thighs. She grinned. "Hello darling. Enjoying yourself?" Eriel kept her head down, in too much pain to even speak. Alcioraell smirked and raised her head, forcing her host to look her in the eye.
Alcioraell raised an eyebrow. "You look so pitiful in this state Eriel..." She then laughed and pulled the dagger embedded in her scar higher.
Eriel let out a blood curdling scream of pain and tears started to pool in her eyes. Her now very dark blue eyes.
"Aww... Is the little kitty gonna cry now?" The elf taunted. Behind her, the door of power was shining brightly. "No matter, you are going to die soon..." Alcioraell laughed and pulled the dagger she had moved back down and healed the wound.

Alcioraell came out of her mind and smiled then pushed Keralin away with magic. Then looked at the Lerthblaka and Ra'zac rise from the earth. "Child's play." She muttered under her breath and took a leap so fast she effectively disappeared. After a split second and appeared behind the first Ra'zac and killed him with a stab through his neck. Before the blood could spill onto her sword she withdrew it and lunged to the next, repeating until all were dead.
"What was that?" She laughed. "I've helped Eriel fight countless of these things already. I think I know how to kill them." She grinned. "But now, you will die..." She grinned then dashed at Zana, lightly rapping her on the chest, draining her energy.
Ragell gleamed with an evil light. "You had better not underestimate me... All of you..." Alcioraell cast a glance at Keralin. "Especially you..." She muttered.


Emrhyst roared as earth-shaking bone-bending pain crossed her thigh. She plunged head first into the ocean for a second before summoning the will to fly up again. Water gleamed off her scales as she did so. She felt herself getting closer, then felt Zana touch her mind. She snarled. No. Concentrate on fending off Alcioraell. I need the pain to locate you. She groaned in pain again then flew faster, landing in front of Alcioraell.
Her eyes were black and the blue gem on her head was pulsating wildly. The dragoness pinned the elf on the ground. Aelir, Keralin, invade her mind now. She said through the crystal.

OOC:Erm, is it my turn? If it is I pass.

OOC:
Yeah, I think it is your turn, although Keralin is assualting Alcioraell's mind so that does kinda need to be responded to, but you can pass if you want, I'm just pointing that out.

OOC: Yea, but I had posted previously. I usually pass on my rightful turn if I do that. You can go ahead and invade Eriel's mind as well you know...

Oh..um..okay..err..okay I'm officially embarrassed now.

IC:
Zana, by chance, heard Emrhyst talking through the crystal. She launched her mind at Alcioraell's mind, putting almost all her energy into the mental jab. She rushed forward until she met some strong barriers. Ha, this isn't even a challenge for me, she thought. She crushed the barriers with ease and continued forward.

Ebony reached for Alcioraell's mind, he searched hard for Eriel. He finally found her with Keralin and Alcioraell. You are very quickly losing ground, let Eriel go, he said, taking a battle stance.

Zeke assaulted her mind and found everyone. Alcioraell, save yourself from embarrassment and surrender, he said, his anger faded as he spoke, his body shrank slightly and his scales lighting back up to their light purple.

Ella let Hannah have control and she rushed in, she quickly found Keralin, Eriel and Alcioraell. She drew her blade and crouched,"Let her go Alcioraell."

Felena hissed and threw herself at Alcioraell's mind. She none to gently searched for everyone, she found them eventually. She slowly circled back around to Keralin, who was running toward Alcioraell. She brought her tail up in front of him and stopped him abruptly. Keralin, hear my words and remember them well: Love is stronger than anything, stronger than darkness, and stronger than light. If everything else fails, turn to love. Use love against Alcioraell, I know you love Eriel deeply, and I know she's loves you deeply back, use it to fight back, me and Ebony will help, were mates, Aelir and Emrhyst could help as well, she said. Felena twined her tail with Ebony's and looked into his crimson red eyes. Are you ready my love? she asked, he tried not to smile savagely, but failed miserably. With you by my side I'm ready for anything, anger or no anger, he said, and drifted slowly into his normal state, his eyes now a warm, soft, trusting gold color, his scales darkening to black.

In a hurry, short post, gotta go.

Alcioraell just smiled. "Keralin, you are a fool. And you shall know why the moment you kill me." The elf grinned and drew her rapier, taking out a dagger and holding it in her left hand.
"Now Keralin, you will die... Or I will die trying." She laughed and lunged at Keralin and attempted to thrust her dagger through his chest.
She missed and felt a trickle of blood against her ear.
Looking back at Eriel, she grinned then threw the dagger at her host.

OOC: Short.

Felena roared and jumped in front of Eriel, and the dagger hit her in the middle of the chest with a dull thud. She roared again, but this time in pain. She ripped the dagger out, but didn't shift. She turned to Eriel and gently tried to take the daggers out, but hissed as the burned her paws, she couldn't get a good grip without being burned, finally she gave up. Are you alright Eriel? she asked as she turned back to Alcioraell, the wound on her chest bleeding freely. Felena snarled and glanced at Keralin. You are very unwise to say that love can't do anything, I will prove to you just what love can do. she told him gently. Ebony snarled and glanced at Keralin as well. Love is everything, it's hate, it's anger, it's happiness, it's pain, it's everything. That is one lesson you have yet to learn. he said, then joined Felena. They twined their necks and tails together and stood there for a minute, suddenly a blinding light erupted from them, making it hard to see wthout covering your eyes. When the light faded, there wasn't two dragons, but one whole dragon, their scales were a beautiful mix of blood red and midnight black, making them look like a checker board, the wound on Felena's chest disappeared after this. Ebony/Felena looked over at Keralin. Our love for each other is the only thing that makes this possible. With love, you can do anything. they said, then turned to Alcioraell. Do you really want to fight us? Or will you let Eriel go and end this fight peacefull? I hope it's the latter.

IC:Alcioraell smirked. "I wish I could answer, but it's getting very difficult with Keralin slicing me up." She laughed and stabbed Keralin in the chest, the smile on her face was a mixture of mockery and humor.

Eriel breathed heavily as she saw Keralin get caught in another illusion. Webs of darkness that only she and Alcioraell could see were wrapped around him, and she saw him struggling bitterly against the false pain.

Alcioraell smirked and threw Keralin(the real one) onto the floor, kicking him towards Eriel. She smiled as she saw her host's tears fall beside him, taking joy in every moment of agony Eriel was experiencing.

Alcioraell laughed and pierced Keralin's crotch with a dagger. She grinned. "What's wrong darling? You seem to have lost your manliness." She laughed and pinned him to the cave wall, gouging his eyes out in the process.

The elf just smiled and turned to face Ebony/Felena after throwing Keralin over to Eriel. "Well? What are you going to do about it hm?"

OOC: It's fine, but I must answer this.

Keralin felt the dagger enter his body, it felt... Different. It was pain but unlike anything he had ever experienced before. It hurt, but it didn't hurt. It felt almost like his body was trying to tell him he was alright but his mind was saying that he should be in screaming agony. The kick that came later felt real though, the pain erupting from his mind and body. He struggled to breathe. As the dagger hit his crotch he finally understood what the strange pain was, It's not real... It's just like when she impaled her abdomen. It's an illusion. Even as Alcioraell gouged out his eyes Keralin gained strength of mind. He forced himself to stand up, pain or not. It was still hard to breathe but he at last knew the strength of this strange being called Alcioraell.
"I see your game now Illusionist, the pain is real to those who choose to believe it. But tell me, what can you do about the real thing?" Keralin hoped he could deliver on his bluff but he knew that he had to be extra careful now as distinguishing between reality and illusion, at least in this place, would be nigh impossible. I know how to distinguish real pain for this fake pain but I still have no idea how to separate Eriel's mind from that being's illusion. Keralin knew he had no other choice, he had to banish this demon from Eriel's mind for them all to be free. He knew of only one way to do that though, Dark Magic.
"Use the power of my soul to transform my arm into the blade of shadows! He cast the spell using his soul as energy as anything else would have left him withering. His right hand went numb as the spell took it's toll but he could still remotely feel it there. Almost like a ghost. His arm still retained it's original look but it also had an unusual shimmer to it, a shimmer that could have resembled a blade.
Damn this need to be careful. He thought as he remembered that although his arm could cut through the spiritual and mental attachments that bound everything together it still couldn't defend against a metal sword. He smiled as he thought, This is the real reason I learnt how to use dual blades.
"My name is Keralin and you shall not harm anything else anymore Alcioraell." His eyes narrowed. "Let's see how you fare against me now."

Banish you to the shadow world. said Felena, I'm sure they will love you there. said Ebony. They turned their talons into the blade of shadow that would send her to the shadow world and leaped at Alcioraell. Zana, get Eriel. they said as one to Zana. Felena/Ebony whirled around and whipped Alcioraell with their tail, leaving a nasty gash on her back. Flames roiled in their mouth, eager to please and destroy everything in it's path. They flexed their talons and glared at Alcioraell. Any last requests before I send you to the shadow realm? they asked, their tone making it clear that they weren't in a good mood.

Zana bounded toward Eriel and attempted to remove the daggers, but they burned her skin. She hissed and said,"Cool down the daggers and remove them." after she said this the daggers moved away from Eriel, letting her drop to the ground. Zana rushed to her side and healed the wounds, she thought she saw Eriel wince in pain and she looked at the scar on her thigh,"You can't be near shades." she whispered, and let Felecia have control. Felecia kneeled next to Eriel,"Are you alright?" she asked, worry lightly etched in her voice.

Ella approached Eriel and Felecia, made sure they both were okay, and turned back to Alcioraell,"Your going to wish you hadn't hurt Eriel." she snarled, lightning crackling in her muzzle.

Zeke stepped up next to Keralin. I'm not sure if you've met Daidrea yet, but he has the same problem as Eriel, a dark side. Daidrea has attempted to destroy him, but almost killed himself in the process. His dark side is a part of him now, if his dark side dies, so will Daidrea. That might be the same thing with Eriel, kill Alcioraell, and you will kill Eriel. I'm simply warning you of the possible consequences of your actions. If Alcioraell has been here long enough to become connected to Eriel's life, it is possible. he said, swishing his tail. Zeke shook his head, even though Keralin was an elf, he still didn't think things completely through like a dragon would. He smiled to himself, still, Keralin was an intelligent elf, strong, and protective of the ones he loves. Zeke got sad for a moment, remembering that he didn't have a mate and probably never would, but he shook it off and paid attention to the present, thinking about what he should do.

OOC:I'll skip my next turn so that were even again.

Easy Eriel, remember what everyone told me in..oh darn, If my memory serves me right, it was the thread "Hunting For A Purpose". You and a couple others reminded me of the time zones. *mutters* And I still remember how embarrassed I was.lol *mutters* I'm simply repeating what you said to me, I don't mean offense.

(Off topic) Err, Aeraldi, do you mind of you could invite the good characters into A Dark Gathering yet? ;p I think that could be the thread in which Emrhyst gets killed.

IC: Eriel smiled at Keralin then turned to Alcioraell, opening up the walls of her mind to Emrhyst, who gleefully joined in. "Stay back Emrhyst, this is my fight." Eriel conveyed a mental message to her. The dragoness bared a fangs at Alcioraell then backed up to Keralin.

Alcioraell smiled at Eriel then lunged at the elf, delivering a powerful uppercut to her chin which Eriel blocked with her left vambrace. The two women cartwheeled away and stared each other down for a second.
Eriel moved her sword into her right hand and started circling her opponent, keeping her eyes on her. Alcioraell grinned and started doing the same. Soon, the both of them were circling each other, each one trying to erode the other's mental defenses.

"Enough of this." Alcioraell muttered then lunged at Eriel, trapping their swords between them, she looked deep into her eyes and drew her into an illusion which Eriel quickly broke by stabbing her parasite. Alcioraell shrieked in pain and quickly withdrew.

Eriel breathed deeply and expelled everyone from her mind, eventually coming back into her physical form. "That was too easy..." She muttered and looked up to see the fugitive in the air flying in some kind of balloon about to take off.

Zeke snorted as Eriel pushed him out of mind. He swished his tail and lowered his triangular head to her level. Are you alright? he asked, worried about his friend.

Ella shifted to a human as soon as she was out. A light purple shirt rested on her shoulders, as well as a dark blue pant on her legs. Raven black hair extended down to her waist, she quickly swept it into a tight pony-tail. Her bright silvery white eyes darkened to a sparkling sapphire.

Hannah grumbled to herself.

Ebony/Felena seperated their body's.

Felena panted slightly, the energy drain was usually great for doing something like that with only the love she felt for her mate, but so great was her love for him, it barely touched the massive energy reserves of her dragon body, still, she was tired from the drain. She twined necks in the dragon embrace and hummed happily, making her sides vibrate. Are you alright my love? she asked him mentally.

Ebony returned her embrace and hummed with her. Yes, I'm fine, a little sore, but fine nonetheless. he said.

Felecia sheathed her sword and looked up at her brother in the balloon. Coward... she thought. She took a small clay figure that she had made many years ago and whispered to it,"Tauthr iet brethren. (OOC: Which translates literally: Follow my brother.) " the figure stirred, then blinked it's eyes. It was a small dragon with pure silver scales and sage eyes. It looked around at the group, then lifted it's wings and followed the balloon with speed far beyond it's size. Felecia nodded,"Don't worry, Arget Hjarta (OOC: Which translates literally: Silver Heart.) will follow my brother to wherever he goes." she said. She glanced at Keralin and Eriel,"Onr burthr weohnata waíse ramr, reisa onr burthr un ilian. Eka weohnata skölir du burthr un iet sverd un vanyalí. (OOC: Which translates literally: Your baby will be strong, raise your baby with happiness. I will shield the baby with my sword and magic.) she said.

I'm so sorry I've not been posting. My life has been hectic and plus I was focusing on other topics here on SF.

Hey guys. I sneaked on again. Don't know when I'll next post, but I'll do so now, since it seems that Eriel is gone.....

Felecia shrugged lightly,"I'm not really sure. Bane is an interesting character. You think he'll do one thing then he does something else," her brow furrowed as she frowned,"I personally think he will use the knowledge he's already learned too try and gain more knowledge....." she trailed off slightly, her sapphire eyes flashing with anger, then she took a deep breath,"Now that he knows he's being chased, he'll go to any cost to try and get me, or one of you. Arget Hjarta will follow him for a time, but soon she will get tired and return to me......" she paused yet again, painful memories sweeping through her mind of what her brother did. A single tear slid down her cheek. She irritably wiped it away,"To answer you questions, Keralin, yes he will use his newly found power, and he will use it, most likely anyway, to get more power." she said. Felecia sighed,"If it were just me, I would pursue him. But we have others to think about." she looked meaningfully at Eriel,"Especially you. That battle took a lot of energy out of you." she said. She turned to Keralin, looking between him and Eriel,"If you want, I can pursue him myself with Ebony and Felena. That would give you guys a chance to rest and recover." and maybe even get back at my brother for putting me through hell, she added to herself. Felecia grinned inwardly. Oh, yes. She would give Bane a fight to remember. She fingered her swords hilt lightly with her fingers.

Gotta go. If my parents catch me on a computer, I'll be more than dead, I'll never be allowed to come back until I'm out of the house.

OOC: Thanks, but I think this Thread is over as Eriel won't be coming back for a while yet. So. I'll make an ending post soon. Do you want to make another thread about following the brother?
