The Doctor in Alagaesia
I've decided to make this out of PURE boredom, and because I like Doctor Who AND Eragon. It probably won't be that amazing, nor as good as Doctor Who or the Inheritence Cycle, but I'm hoping it, at the very least, it will be decent. And, it's going to bend a small part in Brisingr... just a tiny part... Tiny..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Prolouge:
Eragon and Arya sat close to the campfire, they had been there for awhile, talking about many different subjects. Eragon had been asking many questions, and Arya had satisfied his curiosity. In the last question, though, she began to write something in the dirt.
Adrift upon the sea of time, the lonely god wanders from shore to distant shore, upholding the laws of the stars above. The trickster, the riddler, the keeper of the balance, he of the many faces who finds life in death and who fears no evil; he who walks through doors.
Eragon peeked over and gazed over the writing. "What does it mean?" He asked, and Arya looked up from her creation. "It is something my mother told me long ago.. A wise old elf from the days beyond her own said this, she claimed to see the future. She spoke of a man who was strangely garbed, and who was armed with magic even greater than that of the Dragon's.." Arya wiped away the symbols in the sand, and lay down to sleep.
Leagues and leagues away, in the middle of Du Weldenvarden, in a small clearing, the wind started to blow to and fro. The branches of the great trees surrounding started to sway in the gusting typhoon. A blue police box appeared in the clearing, and out stepped the strangely garbed man Arya had been talking about. "Uh-oh.."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yes, I know the middle italicized text came from the book, it's an actual Doctor Who reference. I give full credit of the part to Christopher Paolini, because I probably couldn't of made up something as clever as that.
Anyways, that's just the prolouge, tell me what you all think.

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
Sorry for double posting, but this is the official part one. Hopefully I can make this longer than the prolouge, but, eh. By the way, this is Doctor #10, or David Tennant, the latest one.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part One: Pointy Ears?
The strangely garbed man, who was the Doctor, rushed outside of the blue box. He began pacing around it, muttering to himself. At one point, he knelt down and tapped the side of the wooden panneling. Afterwards he took out his sonic screwdriver, a device which glowed neon blue at one side when activated, and began scanning the box and the area around it. He hurried back inside and began to adjust things on the large console in the middle. It should be said here, that despite the outward appearence of the box, it was quite large on the inside. Most are confused by this, and, to qoute the Doctor's travelling companions, 'it's bigger on the inside'. "No, no, no, no.." The Doctor said, and banged a monitor that was producing only static. He tried to adjust the controls, but nothing happened. The Doctor kicked the console, and after a minute of hopping around on one foot while nursing the other, he ran back outside.
Once the Doctor was outside he stopped in his tracks, because he found ten knocked arrows pointing at him. While he was inside, a group of elves had posistioned themselves around the blue box. He raised his arms and looked about. "Err.. hello.. I was stopping by for a cup of tea, you see, an-" "Quiet, human! What are you doing in our sacred forest?" Said what appeared to be the lead elf. "And what is that... thing you have with you?" The Doctor looked behind him. "Oh, that? That's my ship, the TARDIS. Time And Relative Dimensions In Space.." He lowered his arms a bit, pondering. "Seems I've found myself in one of those relative dimensions.. and you're one to call me human... are those pointy ears?" One of the elves let loose his arrow, but the Doctor ducked, and it thudded into the TARDIS. He straightened back up, his hands in the air again. "Oi, I hope you don't treat all your hostages like that!" The lead elf made no mood to stop any other elf who also tried to shoot. Fortunatly for the Doctor, no other tried. "Who are you?" Asked the lead elf, and he lowered the bow, only slightly, and the others followed suit. "I'm the Doctor." THe elf raised a brow. "The what?" The Doctor realised that they probably didn't have a word for that in their language, which the TARDIS was translating. "Doctor... scholar.. healer.. I help people." The elf let out a laugh, and despite the elves naturally melodic voice, it sounded cold. "I'm sure you help many, human." He chucked for a bit longer. "I'm not human.. I'm a Time Lord." This only made the elf laugh harder, and even the other elves joined in. Once they had stopped, the lead elf spoke once more. "Right, Time Lord, I am Alterion, and you are now a prisoner of the elves."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There, Part One is now complete. I hope all of you like it! Also, I need a snazzy name for the post here, does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
Hey, that was pretty good!
One way you can make it easier for your readers is making a new line when someone is talking
example:
Wayra wrote: "Err.. hello.. I was stopping by for a cup of tea, you see, an-" "Quiet, human! What are you doing in our sacred forest?" Said what appeared to be the lead elf. "And what is that... thing you have with you?" The Doctor looked behind him. "Oh, that? That's my ship, the TARDIS. Time And Relative Dimensions In Space.."
It just makes it a little easier to read if its not in one big chunk
But besides that, its really good! Keep it up!
Oh, and if your posts have at least 24 hours between them, the Mods don't consider it a double post! So your all good!

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
I think this is the first time for awhile that I haven't used the quick reply button. Anyways, this is part two.. I came up with a few ideas at school.. And I'll try that style of writing, Keever. Now then..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part Two: Are We There Yet?
The Doctor had his arms tied behind his backs by the elves and was being marched through the forest towards Ellsemera. Obviously by now, the elves didn't take the Doctor as much of a threat, after all, his claims were rather ridiculous to them. Four of the elves in the sixteen elf group had stayed behind to fiddle around with the TARDIS, which the Doctor had locked before leaving. "Are we there yet?" The Doctor asked, as he had been for the entire time they had been walking. "Human, s-" "Time Lord." "Time Lord, say that one more time and you won't have to worry about being imprisioned in Ellsemera.." "Oh, fair enough.." The Doctor muttered, and kept on walking. They walked on for a few more hours, until the Doctor couldn't contain himself any longer. "Are we th-.." He stopped mid-question, as they had come out of the thick trees, and into a grove, where he could see the large and beautiful elven tree city, Ellsemera. "Yes, we're there.. Come with me, you'll be seeing our Queen, as all prisoners do." Alterion cut the binds on the Doctor's hands, and the Doctor rubbed the red marks that had appeared as a result of being tied for too long. "Aren't you afraid I might run off?" "What, here? You wouldn't get the chance, Time Lord or not." Alterion laughed coldly once more, and led the Doctor farther into the city. The Doctor and Alterion passed many wonderous sights, and while the Doctor was in awe and wonder, he didn't let it get the better of him. After all, with all the civilizations and worlds he'd seen, not much got him to gawk in surprise anymore. They came to a grand gate, and after a word with the guard, Alterion lead the Doctor into a large palace. Inside, the building was a much a work of art as everything the elves created. Once they passed some of the many rooms, Alterion stopped at a door the size of the gate outside, and then pushed it open. Once the Doctor stepped inside, he saw the throne at the end of the room, and Queen Islanzadi, along with three of her fellow war advisors discusing at the throne. They all looked up at his and Alterion's entering. They both walked towards the throne and stopped at the base. Alterion twisted his hand infront of his chest as a sign of respect, and spoke. "May good fortune rule over you, Queen." He bowed. "And may the stars watch over you, Alterion." Islanzadi returned the phrase, and then shifted her gaze towards the Doctor, who, after observing Alterion, had hastily twisted his hand infront of his chest, without the bowing, however. "And who is this.. human you've brought with you, another prisoner, I assume?" Although Alterion would never laugh infront of his queen, a sparkle of amusment shone in his eyes as he introduced the Doctor. "My Queen, this is the Doctor.. a Time Lord."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Right, so that's the end of Part two, what do you guys think?

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
I hate my life, why? Because I JUST wrote that whole thing.. and then, it told me to log back in, because I took too long, and then, when I returned to the last page.. It wasn't there, I HADN'T posted, so now I'm writing it again.. Gah..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part Three
The Queen raised a questioning brow. "Doctor? Time Lord? Are you jesting, Alterion? This is not amusing." The small smirk left Alterion's lips. "I assure you, My Queen, this is no minor joke." A smile lit up the Doctor's features. "Hello, Your Majesty, I'm the Doctor.." He looked around in wonder. "Nice place you have here, I've never been. Er, who are you again?" Queen Islanzadi scowled deeply. "Prisoners do not ask questions, Human. Alterion, take this prisoner to his cell, we shall speak of your misbehavior later." She turned back to the advisors. Alterion scowled in the same manner as the queen, and grabbed the Doctor's arm. He didn't budge however. "Your Majesty, if I may, I am not human. I assure you of that. Now, I don't know what you are, but I don't know, and that's rare, let me tell you." He gestured around him with his free arm. "I don't even know what this place, no, this world is. Nor do I know what time it is, and trust me, that's even more surprising. But I've got a few guesses, either way, I know I don't belong here.. Or I might, the TARDIS likes to play tricks on me. There's no reason to keep me, I might as well be on my way and never trouble you again, right?" Despite the fact he wanted to learn about the elves, he figured fixing the TARDIS was a more urgent priority. A small spark of recognition seemed to come to life in the queen's eyes, but she closed them quickly after. "You are right, you do not belong here. Alterion, take the Doctor away. I have more pressing issues." Alterion bowed. "Yes, my queen." He turned and tugged the Doctor behind him. The Doctor sighed and followed along. "I get this strange sense I'm going to be here for awhile.." They both disappeared into the many halls of the elven palace.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, then, that's done. I felt this one was kind of short, but I have a few ideas for the next part in it. No snazzy title this time, either.. Keever, you can stop hugging me now.
What do you guys think?

Alrighty, I drew a picture a little while ago and then I was thinking of this story so I thought I would show it to you, Wayra. Its kinda faint, I didn't use a very dark pencil on it, just a tracing pencil pretty much.

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
Right, so, I promised Keev I'd write today. I have a few ideas, so I hope this one will be a bit more interesting than the other parts.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part Four
The beauty of the elven palace lost it's beauty when they entered the prision corridor. It went from elegant tapastries and stonework to a dank and damp dungeon. The Doctor was roughly tossed into a cell, and he landed on his bottom in a puddle. "Agh, my coat!" The Doctor cried, he stood and from his waist down he was dripping. "Haha! That'll be the least of your worries in here, Doctor." Alterion smirked one last time before he turned on a heel and left the dungeon. Besides a few magical torches, the prison was pitch dark. The Doctor was shaking himself off, that didn't help dry him much, though. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out the sonic screwdriver. He went to the cell door and flicked the screwdriver on, attempting to unlock the door. "Now all I need to do is get out of he-.. what's this?" The cell door had not budged, he banged on the tip of his screwdriver, then tried again. Once more, the bars of the cell refused to move. "Deadlocked? But.. how? I'm practically in the middle ages!" The Doctor kneeled down and inspected the lock on the door. "That's not right, I could get this open with a hairpin if I wanted.." This time when he used the sonic screwdriver on the door he was scanning it. "This can't be right.. this screwdriver knows every substance in the universe.. how can this be.. unkown." The Doctor tilted his head and reached for the lock. "I wonder what this is made o-Gahh!" As soon as he touched the bars, he was shocked and knocked on his back. He stood up and brushed himself off, "Yes.. I'll be here for awhile."
I'm splitting the ideas in two, because I'm somewhat short on time, but I'll write the other bit later. What do you guys think?
Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
Keev, you better unchain me after this. >.<~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Part FiveLight flodded into the dungeon as the main door was swept open. It clanked against the stone wall, making a reverberating thud. The Doctor, who had been napping, opened an eye. "Oh, what's this?" Queen Islanzadi walked into the damp chambers, occumpanied by her personal guard. With her usual air of dignity and grace she stepped over the rocky floor as if it were as smooth as the stone in the palace. SHe stopped infront of the wooden bars of the Doctor's prison. "Arise, Doctor." The Doctor hopped up, "Ah, so I finally get to meet her majesty properly. Excuse me if I don't shake hands, the prison only causes minor burns." The Queen's lip quirked in amusment. "You seem quite well for one who is being held prisoner by elves, Doctor." "I am quite well, thank you. What is your name again, Queen..?" The Doctor raised a brow, he figured that if he should start, he should start off right. "Islanzadi, Queen Islanzadi of the Elven race." She looked as though she had gotten used to saying this over her long life. "Your majesty Islanzadi." The Doctor bowed. "It's good to meet you, I'm the Doctor, last of my race.. Tell me, your majesty, why treat your guests so harshly?" He guestured about with his hand to the surroundings. "Ah, Doctor, I will be asking the questions here.. But I give you this, there is a war going on. Now, then, Doctor, what brings you here, deep into Du Weldenvarden?" The queen placed her hands behind her back, hoping for a short and productive interragation. "Well, you see, it wasn't really me.. More of my ship, er.. transport. It brought me here without my consent, really. To tell you the truth, I don't even know where I am, and it's rare I don't know that. It's rare I don't know things at all, and I don't know a thing about you, your race, or this land." The Doctor's brow furrowed, the mere fact he didn't know worried him deeply. "I think you shall learn in time, Doctor. Now, tell me of this 'ship', your.. TARDIS, as I am told?" The queen seemed deeply interested in this part of her questioning, even leaning in a little just to make sure she didn't miss anything. "Oh, that old thing? The TARDIS gets me around, yes. Only works for me, though, so don't go fiddling with it or anything. It can be dangerous at times." The Doctor had set up defenses to deal with intruders, but nothing lethal, although he hoped his warning might scare the elves. "We will be careful, Time Lord." At this Islanzadi's mouth quirked again. "Untill we meet again, Doctor." She turned on a heel, looking satisfied and marched out. The Doctor rushed to the bars. "Hey, you can't leave me here, war or no!" In his rush, he accidentally grabbed the bars. He was once again bumped to the ground. He stood and brushed himself off, and looked over his shoulder where the door had closed and the bright white light vanished. "You'd think I would get used to being stuck in a cell after all this time.." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~There we go, I did have ideas, told the lot of you. And, Keev, the look over the should I got from your drawing.
Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
Last time on the Doctor in Alagaesia.. *Cough* Anyways, so, update time it be.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part Six
The Doctor didn't sleep much in his small, damp cell. His only companion was a human, in another cell. They brought him a day or so ago. All he'd heard so far was moaning from the other captive, but it had stopped just recently. To the Doctor's surprise, he heard another voice, and it wasn't elven, thankfully. "W-.. where am I?" "The great city of the elves, if I remember right. At least, that's what they look like, so I'll just go ahead and call them that." The Doctor shrugged. "Oh, no.. I've been taken? No, no.. they'll kill me.. damnit." A few thuds followed, presumably the human punching the wall. "I didn't even want part in this thing.. I was going to be a farmer, have a wife, live peacefully.. I don't even know how to handle a sword. Why I'm here, I guess.." The Doctor turned around, leaning against the bars that were closest to the other cell. "What's your name?" It took the human a few seconds, still in distraught. "Brannon.. Brannon Grithsson.." "Listen, Brannon Grithsson.. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, but I need answers. What's this war about? Why did it start?" "What? Aren't you human? Have you been living in the forest for too long? The Empire of Gallbarotrix against The Varden.. I fought for the empire, forced to.. and the elves are with the Varden.. It doesn't matter now, though.. I'm going to be killed.." Brannon broke down into weeping, curling up on the floor of his cell. "I need more than that, Brannon.. please, who is Gallbatorix?" The Doctor leaned closer, close as he could to the bars. "The last dragon rider.. he claimed the empire when he killed the rest. Or, he was.. Then there was the other one, the boy.. Him and Murtagh, the new dragon riders.. Who are you, how come they haven't killed you yet?" The Doctor spoke low and intensly. "Listen, I'm the Doctor, I won't let them kill you, trust me."

There, the first update in a long while. I missed writing the Doctor, no matter how bad I am at it. Hope you enjoied!

This is pretty good! I love Doctor Who, and I like how you have his personality in this. It's kind of a different twist. I hope you write more; I'd read it and compliment!!!

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
You're kidding, Wayra's posting a story update!? LIES! DECEIPT! GENERAL UNTRUTHFULNESS!
This may be what you're thinking, but I'm here to post, yay! Enjoy all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part Seven
Light flooded into the dark dungeon chambers as the door was flung open, crashing against the wall with a bang. Brannon went balistic at this. "No! No! THey're here! Oh, oh Gods help me!" More sputtering and sobbing came as he backed into the dark corner of his cell. The Doctor stood, resisting the urge to grip the bars to get a better view of what came through the door. Two tall elves clad in green leather armor with finely smithed swords at their sides entered the room. They walked down the row of cells, and even though the light was at their back, the Doctor could see their faces were grim. "Oh, no no no!" Came from Brannon once more, as the elves skipped the Doctor's cell, and one of them uttered something and unlocked Brannon's cell. The lead elf spoke, "Human, you are condemmed to execution by decree of the elven council, and the Queen. It is time, have you any last words?" The elf sounded as if he had said it before, too many times, the Doctor guessed. Brannon responded accordingly. "No, no. Please, no! I'm just a farmer, I can't even use a sw-" He was interrupted by the second elf, "Close your mouth, fool! We care not for your excuses. Come." The first elf sighed, and they both roughly grabbed Brannon, dragging him into the open hallway. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, elf.." The Doctor said from his posistion by the bars. He was really starting to get tired of the fact that he couldn't touch them. The second elf snarled at the Doctor. "And what are you going to do about it? I don't know why the queen hasn't killed y-" This time, the first elf interrupted his companion. "Quiet, Falken!" He looked into the Doctor's eyes, his own as grim as before. "As I was going to say, I wouldn't do that, otherwise your queen, Islanzadi, isn't getting.. whatever she wants out of me." The Doctor was almost non-chalant, assured that the elves loyalty would come before their duty as executioners. "The queen wants something from -you-!? Don't make me laugh!" Falken laughed, unable to stop himself. The other elf look to his partner, "Hold this pathetic excuse of a soldier." The elf slipped under Brannon's arms, and faster than fast ran out of the hallway. There was nothing but silence after the swift departure, Falken glaring at the Doctor. Of course, the Doctor responded by just grinning. Moments later the elf came back with a scroll, showing it to his partner. Falken gritted his teeth, and the one with the scroll seemed almost relieved. They both tossed Brannon back in the cell, him sobbing still, though tears of joy. Falken stormed out of the prison chambers, and the elf looked at the Doctor, a hint of a smile across his face. "It takes a lot for a human to anger Falken. Your friend lives another day. My name is Kolar." The Doctor's grin widened. "Doesn't take much for me, name's the Doctor. Now scurry along, make sure your friend doesn't hurt someone. I'm sure your queen will be along soon enough." Kolar chuckled lightly, than ran out of the doorway, closing it shut behind him, and the darkness returns. In the silence the Doctor realised it was just that, silence, Brannon's sobs had stopped. "Brannon? Grithsson?" THe soldier was solemn in the corner, red tear lines streaking from his eyes. "Thank you, Doctor.. thank you." The Doctor smiled, breathing a sigh of relief, "Get some rest, Brannon.." He leaned back into the damp and cold rock, waiting for Queen Islanzadi.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hope you all enjoied that, it was fun to write again. I'm going to keep writing this, but I have another story in mind later that also deals with the Doctor, and is much more sci-fi-ish than this. But that's for later, until then, tell me what you think.

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
It's time to post again!... Two months later, abeit, but.. Er... Look, a story!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part Eight
As was to be expected, the dungeon was still as dark and damp as ever, with only the magical torches lighting the corridor of cells. Once again that was changed by the door being opened, and an elf entered. Brannon whimpered a bit when he saw that, but remained relativly quiet. The elf approached the cell that held the Doctor, who was pretending to be asleep. When the door was opened the guard entered and roughly pulled the Doctor up, who responded with an "Heey!" Unfortunatly, when the stranded Time Lord did glimpse the elf's face he recognized it as Falken, the one with the temper. He sighed a bit as he was pushed out of the cell, and directed toward the door. "Oh, you again, I do-" Before he could say anything clever he was knocked upside the head with the hilt of the blade, and the Doctor stumbled for a moment, dazed. "I suppose not.." He muttered before entering the elven palace once more. The Doctor was glad to be out in the light, even if he could see exactly what damage the dungeon had done to his person. Dirt was smeared along his face, and his clothes were damp from the many puddles. His shoes were looking worse for the wear as well, the normally white lining and laces turned brown. The Doctor was led down a corridor away from the main hall, as far as he could remember. "You know, I can walk by myself.." The Doctor mentioned, before being spit upon by Falken. "Oh, now how's that going to look infront of your queen?" Falken chuckled, though one could hear an almost maniacal tinge to it. "You're going to wash up first." They had both arrived infront of a simple wooden door, to which, after it was opened, the Doctor was roughly shoved into. "Feel lucky, few humans have ever received such an honor." The door was closed to more of the laughter. The Doctor sighed, tired of trying to correct the elves. After a quick glance about he observed he was in a sort of bath house. Steam rose from the hot pools of water, fogging the room. Of course, The Doctor wouldn't be the DOctor if the first thing he didn't do was snoop about. He rached in his coat pocket, pulling out the sonic screwdriver. He went about, tracing the blue light up and down everything, muttering the whole time. "Unknown, unknown, unknown.. Bloody.." Everything, except for base materials, like the marble flooring, and the water, tinged unknown; and even then the base materials had strange readings. The Doctor sighed, placing the screwdriver down next to one of the pools. He knelt down a cupped up a bit of the hot water, pressing it to his face. The grime which covered his cheek disappeared, leaving clean and smooth skin. He rubbed some of the water onto the brown laces of his shoes and they turned back to pure white. "Clever, whatever it is.." The Doctor stepped into the pool, fully clothed, "Suppose I should look my best.."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Woo, there's another part down.. Dunno how long this is going to last, but I think it's going well right now. Tell me what you all think.

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
Time to post again, er.. sorry I'm lazy and what not. I was so absorbed with my break I forgot about, well, a lot of things. XBox can do that to you. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part Nine
The Doctor stood, dripping wet, looking a little annoyed, at himself. "Didn't figure to look about for towels..." As if by some sort of coincidence Falken shouted through the door, "Those leaves in there will cleanse you of the water; I know you humans don't understand it well, magic." He chuckled, feeling rather superior at the moment. The Doctor blinked, "No, wait... what? Hold on, 'magic'? Run that one by me again." "It's like taking care of children.." Falken muttered, "Pay attention, magic, it will dry you, if you touch the leaf, it's enchanted, with magic. Got it?" "No.. but.." The Doctor reached into his coat pocket, then searched around, "Oh, that's.. not good.. No screwdriver.." "Quit muttering in there and get on with it!" Falken yelled, his temper rising. The Doctor sighed, "I hate losing that.." He went to inspect the leaves, they looked rather unassuming themselves. He very carefully touched, then waited. It seemed to him nothing was happening, then he slowly realised whatever happened, he had stopped dripping, and indeed, was dry. "Ohh.. clever.." He almost opened his mouth to speak with Falken, then reconsidered it, quickly. He messed with his hair, and straightened his coat before stepping back out the door, where Falken once more pushed him the right direction. "You should feel special, I wasn't lying when I said few humans meet the Queen." Falken said, bunting the tip of his weapon into his back every now and then. The Doctor remained silent, "Not so talkative now, are you? Show respect to our Queen, or we'll end your pathetic life." Falken spit on him again, and, almost unkowingly, let his arm fall to his side again, leaving the Doctor free. Of course, the Doctor's plan wasn't to run, he could've tried running a few times before, and his odds of actually escaping weren't high. When they arrived infront of the great double door that led to the Queen's council room, Falken stopped. "Wait here, the Queen is having a gathe- Hey, no, wait!" The Doctor strode on forward, never stopping. He pushed open the doors, stepping in. Queen Islanzadi was at the end of a long, open area, at a table with five other elves, next to a few large windows. Despite the expansive space between the Doctor and the small podium the table was on, he could hear one of the elves speak. He did anyways, because at the intrusion they all looked towards the door. The Queen herself didn't have to move either way, her seat was facing the entrence to the hall, and she herself saw the Time Lord stride in, and while the rest weren't looking, she smirked, just a little bit. "Hello, I'm the Doctor, hope I'm not interrupting."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First time updating in awhile.. was good fun, I'll try to update more guys.
Oh, and happy new decade!

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
The Time Lord pwns all in his path.
This is certainly an interesting concept, sending characters into other character's stories. Paolini revealed himself a Dr. Who fan, so I'm assuming this was the inspiration. There isn't enough writing to really have too many complaints. I hate to have nothing more rigorous to say.

Its great to see another update!! Your doing alot better at keeping up than I do (as you can see by the two stories of mine that have one part and then haven't been touched in several months ) the story is progressing good and I'm interested to see what is up with the Queen lol
Keep it up!

Re: The Doctor in Alagaesia
Alright, time for another update.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part Ten
"What is the meaning of this?! Who is this human!? Get him out of here!" One of the elves at the table shouted. As the guards reacted the Queen spoke, "Hold him there until we are finished." She motioned for the others to ignore the outburst, and they continued speaking. The Doctor was on his knees in one of the corners, held by a guard. He could see Falken at the door, still dumbfounded. Then huffed, moving out of the hall, clearly angry. The conference ended soon enough, and the Queen sent along the others. She raised a hand to the guard, motioning for him to bring the Doctor to her. "You and the rest of the guard are dismissed. I will be unharmed." They were hesitant a moment, then bowed, obeying. The Doctor stood, adjusting his tie, "Thank you, he was rather strong for a scrawny fellow, I think he left a bruise... Oh, right, 'left a bruise, Your Highness.'" He bowed a bit, to which the Queen gave a little 'Hah'. "We both know you obey no Queen nor King, Doctor." "We do? Ah, well, I am the Doctor, I can prove it, you know.. I have my papers right he-.." He checked another pocket, "Here.. no.." ANd another. "I lost this too? Not my day.." He began checking more pockets when a familliar voice came from behind a pillar in the hall. "Looking for this?" It was Kolar, and he was holding the Psychic Paper in his hands, grinning. "Falken took them from you, in the dungeon.. I figured you would be smart enough to notice." He shruged, approaching the throne. He bowed a bit, before handing over the paper to Islanzadi. "How does it work?" The Doctor watched this, almost a bit astounded. "That was rather slick.. mind you, I've had things nicked before, but never from my coat.." He checked once more to make sure, then sighed. "Screwdriver.." "Not until you answer me, Doctor, how does some parchment assist you so?" The Doctor could see Kolar behind the Queen, still grinning. He rolled his eyes, taking the paper, and showing it to her. "What does it say?" She read along it, "John Smith." He turned it away and back to her, "And now?" She raised a brow, "Medusa Cascade.. How does it do that?" The Doctor placed it in his pocket, "It reads my mind which prints out what I want you to think of me." The Doctor looked over to Kolar. "Screwdriver." The elf dug in his pocket, pulling out the familliar steel tool. "YOu mean this strange thing? All it seems to do is make a noise.." He tossed it to the Doctor, who caught it and ran down, turning it on and pointing it about. "Yeah, well, nothing in this world works properly.." The Queen looked to Kolar, who handed her a scroll, she opened it and read a verse.
He keeps the paper of deceipt, And the tool of light and sound,
The Doctor banged on the Screwdriver, "Oh, yeah, what's that?" The Queen looked up, solemn and bemused. "You."
Alright, so.. I'm sorry that I can't play the Queen very well. She came off as more in control and commanding in the books then I think I'm playing her here.
Anyways, what'd you guys think?
