 Worries....Is anyone here worried about the slim chance that Eragon or Saphira may die? My reasons for thinking this is the rock of Kuthian thing. Solumbum says that when all is lost and your power is insufficiant, speak youre name to open the vault of souls, does this mean that Saphira dies and Eragon has to bring her back to life, by getting her soul back?

I had never thought about that. She would do whatever it takes to keep Eragon safe. But I hope that it doesn't come to that.

Wouldnt that be quite bad as eragon might die if she dies too??

No, I don't think so. I think it means that the story may come to a point where it seems Galbatorix will be winning the battle, and all may be seem lost to the Varden. I think it may be then that Eragon remembers Solembums words and decides to find out what and where is the Rock of Kuthin. At least that's my thought and my

yes dat is possible. it'll prolly b a last resort, like mayb if he's battling galbatorix and losing or sumthing, so he wud open the vault of souls. but wats in the vault of souls? prolly souls, rite? loll. but y wud he need to summon souls? mayb he cud like call broms soul. or the first eragon or sumthin.

Re: Worries.... There is a speculation on predictions for the next book that Eragon will bring Brom back from the Vault of Souls or Saphira, even Arya. I even heard a theroy that Eragon brings Murtagh back.

Re: Worries.... I don't think Eragon dies, remember from what Angela said about you leave alageasia forever, so I don't think he dies? And I agree with what Annie said, the Varden is about to lose, he doesn't have enough power to destroy Galby so he goes in search of power and finds himself at the Rock of Kuthian.
