ok well like for me my book is about an enchanter and I go through his life and such and its kind of like lord of the rings. I've been trying to fix it up but it's so hard to get away from the LOTR elements lol. I could give you a bit more of a description of my story and that might strike up a bit of an interest....an idea.

I tried to write on this theme (it didn't work)....try to create your own world with own rules. Then do some bad guys and I don't know.....a phropecy and then write....this is more a tip (which wroks at me)

uhhh.... how bout u do a book about a young girl who finds this stone that takes her to a misterius place place were ppl can talk w/ animals

that's actually a really good idea. You should make it seem like the stone was passed down generation to generation in the family but her parents end up dieing in a car crash. When she is getting everything packed up to go to her grandparents, or something like that, have her come across the stone. Just an idea.

you can make up a story about a boy who travels through the spirit realm by accident and lands in a dfferent dimension wher everything is backwards and he/she needs the combined power of the past, future, and present to get back to his own world.

Think about something you really like, dragons, vampires, elves, magic etc. Make up a single character, give them strengths and weakness's. Then think about their family, then their life, how do they live, how old they are of course, do they go to a public school or what? That's how I started.

Want an idea? Put heaps of dramatic scenes in your story like people dying and your char
getting all upset. Thats what I do anyway.

i suggest you start with a map, create the cultures, then make a story plan and characte list

I think that there is a book about a girl who transports somewhere. It called the land of the unicorns and she can talk to animals there. Its a good Idea though. How about a type of metamorphosis book? Im working on one right now.
