Erais and Erador were walking quite close to the Empire, Erais knew this might be her death.
Erador, I am scared and nervous. Should I really do this? Erais asked Erador and Erador could sense the fear in her.
We have to do this, if we don't then we will be haunted. If we die, then let's hope it won't be in vain. We need to get that last egg, or die. Erador sounded brave and confindent, but Erais was still scared out of her wits even with Eradors comforting words.

"I wish I had some other company, then this might be an easier task." Erais said aloud, her voice was a bit shaky.

They walked for a while then stopped close to a forest for concealment. Erais started to pace back and forth.
Erais settle down, we'll be okay, I promise. Erador stopped Erais from pacing.
I am grateful for your comforting words but I am still frightened and shaky. Let's try to sleep. Erais lay down close to Erador.

OOC- you're not going to kill her?

OOC: Maybe, maybe not. Depends on who joins and helps, stops her or lets her die.

Zane was walking through the empire even though he was marked as a rouge and was to be killed on site. Zane was walking he knew he wasn't paying attention, but he wanted a fight and was counting on one. Then he heard a noise he stopped dead and walked as silently as he could towards the noise. Most people would stay away from the noise but not ZAne he was ready to fight even to lose. When he got closer he saw a dragon, but it was too dark for him to see any specific details. he went closer if it was galbatorix he would lose and be killed. He continued forward anyway and then it happened he stepped on a twig *snap*.

Erais shot up, her sword in hand and Erador quickly came to her feet. Erais was tense and stressed, she felt sick and nervous. Erador emitted a warning growl and stepped forward.
Erais you're to tense, relax and think straight you're not thinking. Erador told Erais in a commanding tone.
Erador stop worrying about me and worry about yourself. I am not tense, mind your own buisness. Erais snapped at Erador, Erador felt hurt.

"Who are you? What do you want? Tell now or feel the wrath of my blade." She demanded these questions at Zane.

She had never seen him before and he seemed strange and dangerous to her. Then again she was mixed up in thought and scared to death. She stepped forward keeping her face shadowed.

"Answer me now!" Erais raised her sword so it was level with her shoulder.

"Tell me who are you?" Zane stood unafraid he was accepting to death. "Do you work for the empire because if not you are far from safe". Zane saw the mighty dragon and knew if it came down to a fight he would lose. " I say now who are you?"

"No, I asked you first so answer me first. Besides I wouldn't be able to tell you unless I knew most things about you." Erais answered in a softer tone.

Erador rolled her eyes at them and decided she wouldn't take part if there was going to be a fight. She lay down on the ground and watched the two.
Erais came into the light and her new elf features were visible now. She watched him carefully and tried to penatrate his mind.

"Answer me or you will be far from any possible safety." Erais threatened him.

" You, stay out of my mind! " Zane yelled while putting up barriers. He runs in sword drawn he sees an openining, but when he slashed he heard only a ringging of metal. " My name for yours hows that sound"

Erais had easily blocked the attack and all of her fear and stress left her immediately. She started to attack with swiftness, having fun and forgetting about her mission for the time being.

"Fine, but you first. On my honour as a dragon rider I will tell you mine if you tell me yours." She was laughing and striking at him.

Erador felt relived that she was relaxed and at ease. She didn't like it when Erais was stressed or scared because it made Erais stubborn and hard to deal with.
Erais galnced at Erador and realized that she was happy just watching Erais relaxed.

Pan gazed deeply into the playful fight, flying high in the sky. Her body, that of a peregrine falcon, was balanced on the wind that was now blowing through soft clouds. There was a woman, with a dragon, maybe an average size. And there was also a man trying to push her back, but with no sucess so far.
Not much of a fight, commented Pan.Both are fairly good with a blade, yet the man is losing. No surprise there, she's a rider. Pan corkscrewed downwards, now going a bit too fast. The ground rushed at her quickly, as if it was the one falling on her, but she knew what she was doing. In mid-flight, she bagan to morph back into a humanoid. First came her legs, stretching longer and longer until they met that of an average teenager.
Pan didnt really enjoy called young woman in a village not to far from this area. She was, as a matter of fact, much older than most parts of Alagaesia. But she accepted that, because her appearance was didnt give it away.
The rest of her body was now fully humanoid, her long pointed ears quivering for any sound that might not be heard by that of a human. She hit the ground, but before the shock came, dashed forward with increased momentum. She was quite sure that she was a blur to the two blade dancers, and pushed both of their blades down in mid parry.
While they were still staggered, their swords on the ground, she increased her dash speed untill her arms grew into wings, and her body transformed into that of a peregrine.
She flew into the clouds, still keeping an eye on the two fighters.

OOC: Ok, go in this order: Mutagh, Erais, and I. So we dont mess up.

Raign sat in the castle watching the woods. "I know someone is out there, I can feel it." Raign could feel a tugging on his intuition all day. He listened carefully and heard the clanging of metal. "How are you feeling Roack, ready for a fight?" "Yessss." was the dragons only answer. "If we capture these people then maybe Galbatorix will be willing to teach us more magic so that we can kill the shades. Hmmmm. Let's go" said Raign as he leapt out of the window relying on his magic to keep him from falling too quickly. He krept to the brush and squinted as he saw steel clash. "Okay Roack we will go on three. One...Two...Three.

" What the hell was that, you used magic in a sword fight coward!" ZAne yelled fighting with increased strength he knew he was loisng but withhis anger he began to break even with the rider the only wild card was the dragon but it didnt look to interested. ZAne jumped back seeing no end to the fight he sheathed his sword and said " Zane, thats my name. You wouldv'e won not many can best me in battle. i can see that you are running or afraid if you were with the empire you would have soldiers and no fear come let us talk "

"I did no such thing! I am no coward." Erais scoffed and sheathed her sword. "I am Erais, dragon rider and on a mission."

Erais went over to Erador she placed her hand on her and gently stroked her. She stopped and pulled some food from the saddle bag. She walked back over to Zane, sat on the ground, then offered him some food.

"I am running from the Empire but I am forced to go back and retrieve something within the castle walls. I fear it might be my death, oh and this is Erador." She pointed back to Erador who was now on her feet. "I think I know who made us be knocked backwards." She whispeared softly to Zane.

She could feel something close by and ready to jump at them.

OOC: I'm stuck, Hayden, go, i cant think right now lol.

OOC:Can i join?

OOC: Of course you can, you shouldn't have to ask.

"That man has no dragon I should kill him first then fight the rider, that would be the simplist way." Raign thought as he picked up a large rock. He lifted it with his magic and sent it hurtleing toward the Zane. Zane blocked with his sword but the force of the rock made the flat of his blade strike his head, knocking him out. Raign drew his sword and his staff and walked into the opening with the dragon rider.

OOC: Hayden don't control other charactors.

IC: Erais qiuckly retreated to the shadows and shadowed her face again before coming out. Erador shot into the skies and disappeared. Erais had her sword drawn, ready for an attack. Since the change had taken place she knew that it would be hard for this man to fight her.

"What was that for?" She asked, her voice had risen.

She stepped in front of Zane so he would be blocked from attacks while he was out. Erais then used magic to lift up a large boulder from behind Raign, and she hurrled it at him.

OOC: Making them knock-out is power-playing, dont do that please. But if you make them get hit, thats a different story.

IC: Pan dived out of the sky and heard a clang of stone to blade.
This might be more fun than I thought. Both riders seem fairly strong...yet a bit weak as well, as if somethings bothering them. No matter, I'll do my best to make good win, as always. Pan sent a mental probe with terrifying force at the man. Before any barriers could have been put up, she got the information.
Raign, Roak, Galbatorix, Revenge, and shades intersested Pan more than the others. It was clear this man worked for the empire. So maybe...he needs to learn from Galbatorix. After learning, he'll be able to get revenge...on a shade. Pan wondered why he would want revenge, and hit the ground as a humanoid in between the two young mortals.
"Dont kill him," Pan said as she walked by Erais. "He is about as strong as you, so I will let you two settle this in an equal match. If I.." Pan stopped herself from revealing her abilities, and muttered a quick word.
A blade of pure, star bright celestial magic erupted from her hand, swirling around it deadly. This one was white, the sword of good. She had to use it physically to damage foes.
Erupting on her other hand was a black sword, a shadow blade of the Underworld, and responded only to mental commands. Pan's eyes glazed through the rocks and she saw four men, armed with bows and swords.
She took a quick flick of magic to send them tumbling out of their hiding place, and whispered just load enough for Erais, raign, and the men to hear.
"You four were about to put uneven odds against these mortals," she said, pleasantly smiling as they winced when they heard mortal, finally figuring out who she was.
"And now, I'm putting uneven odds against you. All four of you, against me." She saw the men grow relived, that began to attack her.
The first one died as soon as he came within range., for Pan had utterly destroyed his Giganip. Two others shot arrows, which were easily deflected by the shadow blade.
Pan wasnt having much fun, they were too weak, as well were the weary riders before her. She flicked a scout in the forehead, and he dropped dead, his brain Giganip destroyed.
With a yawn, she stepped forward and killed the two men with bows as they tried to run.
Then, she summoned magic a bit stronger, and placed it in a circle around the two riders.
"If one of you steps out, you will be attacked by creatures of the underworld, which I really hope u wont have to face. Stay inside, and I want a fair fight."
Pan walked over and sat under a rock, but not before quickly whisking the other man from the circle. She carefully sent some magic into his giganips, and pulled him into the world of man once more.

OOC: If you want to be a lot better at RPing, try making your posts as long as this.

OOC: I will try and I know it is Raigns turn but let me post this.

IC: Erais quickly reconized Pan, her memory of her came back fast. She just watched, a bit amused and a bit scared from what Serias had told her what to do. After Pan had gotten rid of the four men and had put a ring around her and Raign, she turned to Raign and began to talk in a soothing and warm tone. Ready to reveal what her purpose was.

"I a dragon rider, I will not give my name, but rather my purpose for it is prescious to you, servant of Galbatorix.
"I have been sent here to steal the remaining egg that Galbatorix has, I am scared to death because I am sure it is my death. I am sure that I would be better off dead, my life has seen many wonders that not even you could even dream of.
"I know this women, her name is Pan. I was warned of her by my gaurdian. She is dangerous, as dangerous as me.
"As for stealing the egg, I have to, so if you don't want to die then you will stop fighting or find yourself close to death, because I have gone under strange things and strange masters and have learned enough to match Galbatorix, even if Pan can tell they we seemed closely matched, it is not so, I am far to strong for you and you must take this warning.
"My dragon has obtained certain abilities as well, so you and any other company would be useless. Step out of my way, or fight." Erais said in the soft soothing tone. She kept calm and was no longer afraid of death, if she was going to die, then she will die.

She raised her sword kept her eye on him, she soon realized who this was, tears began to fall down her face. She let them fall, not braking her stance. She knew he had no chance of reconizing her and she hoped that Pan wouldn't tell him who she really was. She didn't want to harm him, but if that was what it came to then she would hurt him.

"Raign, I am sorry if I am about to hurt you." She whispered it so softly that none but those who would have had to listen really well wouldn't of heard it.

She new her defenses were to strong so he wouldn't be able to reconize her, after all she was dead.

OOC: *Is dumbstruck by how long that is....* i'll try.....

IC:Blake Held his head down. Keriaia was close by, hidden by trees. He was currently thinking about becoming an elf...it was going to happen soon he knew. He felt his Ears and knew it was going to happen very soon. His closet estimate was at least by tomarow. Do you think becoming an Elf will cange who i am on the inside? He asked Keriaia. Who knows..I guess you'll just have to wait till it happens. She replied simply. Heh, I guess so.. he replied. He wandered into a conflict without knowing.

Keriaia, with her eagle-vision. saw Blake wander into a fight goin on for what reason she didn't know. Blake! Wake up! She yelled at him.

Blake looked up and drew his sowrd. "Hey! What's going on!?" He asked.

OOC: sorry bout the power playing.

IC: Riagn laughed at the girls speech. "you think you have gone through alot well you do not know my past." Raign pulled on the bandages covering his face. "He could feel the burnt skin freezing in the cold air. He looked at the girl and said. "Watch this trick." suddenly his eyes went completely white, you could see his muscle expand somewhat, his jaw clentched, and last his hair turned white and all scars and cuts soon dissapeared. "See how you fair against the spirit of the Berserker. I apoligize for unleashing this upon you. But I must gain my vengence upon the Shades at all costs."
Raign lunged at the girl swinging violenty, yet gracefully. His muscles hardened his jaw clentched tighter until blood started pouring out, and his eyes focused upon the oponent trying to judge her next move

"As a matter of fact I do know your past, it is hard and cruel but mine is still worse. Raign, why did you go in league with Galbatorix? He is an evil man, why don't you train with the Varden, they can help you." Erais was shocked and suprised at Raign, he was different.

She watched him carefully as he changed, once he was done she removed her hood and cloak and began to speak.

"Well then I guess you will fail." She told him she had sadness in her eyes.

She held her sword and felt stronger, he began to attack Erais, she blocked them quite easily and began to fight back with great power and speed.
She kept on fighting, she backed up and tripped over a rock breaking her ankle. She cried in pain and tried to stand up. She had fear back in her eyes and felt like she wanted to die again.

IC: Zane came to and saw chaos a girl not even a woman killing men and the girl he was fight locking swords with a man is that a berserker he though to himself. He also noticed the womans dragon was gone. Zane stood up and found his sword everyone was oblivious to him. He was faced with a dilemma help or watch he decided to help the woman if she began to lose she was standing in front of me i believe to prrotect me Zane thought to himself.

As he was watching the woman fell and looked as though she broke her leg or ankle. The man moved in for the kill.

" Stop or die " ZAne said stepping in front of the woman " You have won this fight, but only because of a stone only a coward would kille someone like that. And I dont like cowards! " Zane yelled the last sentence and ran in to fight the two locked swords but Zane knew he would lose.

" By the nine hells where do you get your strength"

Zane would die here without question but he would take this thing down with him.

" WE die here! "Zane yelled as he slashed at his leg.

OOC: LOL it ususally isnt when you try to kil someone now is it.....

IC:Blake was still caught off gaurd by the battle. He quickly regained himself and Saw a women hit the ground. A simple look at her face he could tell who it was. Earis! Whats even going on here? He asked himself. He knew he would die if he decided to get in the fight she he put his sowrd up n front of him ready to block an attack. He started to move slowoly towrd Earis. When he got there He helped her up. "Are you okay?" He asked her. He knew she coulden't go far with her leg in that shape but anyhere was better then right next to a berserker he thought.

OOC: You guys coulda waited for me lol.


IC:Pan watch the other man step in front of Erais, and Raign didnt stop moving forward. Pan gave another yawn of boredom. She got up and removed the magical cricle surrounding them, walking over to Erais. She gave the ankle her true gaze, that of an ancient, one that has seen much, been through much, and heard so much that the true celestial power of Alagaesia burned through her body.
The magics blew harder from her eyes than ever. Erais ankle was quite healed in a blink of an eye.
"Take her to the rocks, Blake," she said reading his name through a mental barriers she passed through gracefully. "She needs a rest. And now." She turned to Zane and Raign.
"We need to sort out a few things." She walked over to Ragin, enspecting his face a bit. She then poked him in the shoulder, and although it seemed like a normal muscle testing poke, she had actually press on his giganip, and passed magic through it.
"Your arms will be disabled for about an hour. I let your legs flee from that fate, so you have two choices: Leave, or die unable to defend yourself. Now tell me, quickly, has Galbatorix made you oath to be....no, thats a stupid question, of course he has. So, I guess you have a third choice now. If you wish to flee yourself from the clutches of Galbatorix, I can, quite easily, break the bonds." Pan nodded at her idea with some excitment.
"One more thing. Your face has been scarred, burnts, and beaten, and you think that you have been through much. Now listen to this." She took a deep breath and said slowly, walking back to Erias.
"Ten thousand years ago, I banished myself from the temple of the ancients, all to save Alagaesia. Now, we had quite a few demons trying to attack us, so I had to take a course of action. In my banishment, the demons went back to the Underworld. But then again...so did I." She gazed at all of them iron hard.
"None of you, will ever be able to feel what happened to me, except maybe in the Afterlife, which I have visited all to many times."

OOC: And firetongue, they better not see our RP on Dragonarts, cuz if they do, this is going to get a large amount of pages in a few days.

Riagn lept back from the blow to his legs. "A coward am I? You'll notice I didn't try and kill the dragon rider with a stone, well that is because I have no time for you. My instructions are to finish off all enemy dragon riders, you are not one of them, but since you had to jump in well I guess you will have to die." Raign raised his hand and said Brisingr!

OOC: Ok, after this, someone else should go. You can go after this Hayden, but someone else will have to go after you i guess.

IC: Pan gave a sigh.
"You had your choice. It is not we who are going to die, its you!" Before Zane could block the flame, she darted over, and simply garabbed it in midair. She twisted it's magics from Ragin to hers, and shot it back at him, in the form of a light blue flaming dragon, which opened its mouth and roared. Pan new such a pathetic spell was easy to block, but that wasn't it's purpose. A decoy was always the best form of offense to her. She got behind Raign, and in two taps of Giganips, disabled both of his legs. The dragon was still going at him, but she waved it away. Even a servant of Galbatorix shouldnt meet his death unable to fight back.
Her celestial swords grew out of her hands in a flash of light. The sword of darkness she swivled under his jaw, pointing upwards. The celestial blade she put just under his cerebellum.
"I also forgot to mention what job I had in the Underworld." She pushed on the blade with little force, just enough to prickle his skin.
"I was an executioner."

OOC: After this is should be: Hayden, Erais, Mutagh, and Saphira, then me again.

OOC: yeah that sounds best as long as it is in some order.

IC: Raign sat their thinking as the blades poked into his skin. "You may have bested me this time but I have another trick up my sleeve." he whispered some words under his breath then said "Goodbye, soon you will be sorry." as he and his dragon dissapeared instantly leaving nothing but a scorch mark in the ground.

The pain that Erais felt was bad, she saw Zane come to stand in front of her, she was scared fro Raign, even though he tried killing her. Erais was grateful when Pan healed her ankle and she could stand, she also felt exauhsted. She was grateful when Blake helped her to a rock, she realized what was going on with Raign.

"Don't harm him, let him go, please, I know him and if he knew me he wouldn't be doing this." She was pleading with everyone else but knew that none were paying attention.
She didn't want her friend to die, he was good but was not acting normal, why was he in league with Galbatorix.

"Pan don't do anything to him, leave him, let him go." She tried to be heard but knew her voice was faint at the moment.

She then watched Raign disappear with Roack.

OOC: wow you posted that like four times, no matter though I know it was an accident.

IC: Raign found himself back in his room. The trip had healed his temporary poralisis but his arms and legs still hurt. "I need to find Galbatorix and tell him they are here." thought Raign. "Yes you do." said Roack. Raign spun around. "Roack you can talk!" This pleased him and although he had failed and would have to pay for his failure he didn't mind. "Roack, we are both getting stronger soon enough we can leave this place and get revenge."
Raign walked into the large courtroom where he found Galbatorix sitting at his throne. "Galbatorix their is a group of rebels who are going to try and steal the last egg." he said "Yes I know, I also know that you lost to them, no matter just drink this potion." he pulled a glass vial out of a chest sitting next to him, and handed it to Raign. "This will make you faster and stronger than an elf, for a short time. And you will gain the knowledge of a master dragonrider. Now go and finish them off."
"Thank you" was Raign's only reply.

"Girl you saved me, but you aren't just a girl are you. He was a berserker was he not? Erais what happened i remember falling then i awoke and fought i dont understand who was he and who aree these poeple? " zane was confused and sat down.

What is goin on he though to himself.

Blake Didin't chase after him, He knew that She didn't want to hurt him for some reason....Myabe she is friedns with him? Well....better stop...that's basicly the whole reason i'm after Galbatorix anyway.. A picture poped inot his head for a second but he pushed it aside. He turned his thoughts to Earis. "Are you sure your okay Earis?" He asked Earis. What are we even doing here? Wrong place at the wrong time maybe? Fate?....Oh well.... He thought quietly to himself.

Pan cringed. A mental chaos just when through her. The potion of Everlight! Someone...Raign... had drank it.
"He's coming back," Pan said. "He's just a bit stronger, stronger than you three probably. Except maybe Erais. Serias had told you of your race?"
"That I have," said Serias, walking out from behind the rock. "Where did Raign go? You told me from your mental link that he was here."
Pan looked at the wide-eyed group. She thought she could guess what they were thinking: Where did he come from?
"I told you that five minutes ago. You're a bit late. Wheres Chronum?" Pan asked, quite happy with this. Even the potion of Everlight couldnt match two guardians. As a matter of fact, it couldnt match them both either. She had known about it for quite a long time, longer than most, that is.
"Ok, heres the situation. Raign had just gone and drank the potion of Everlight." Pan said slowly. "He's coming back."
Serias gave a sigh, and looked over the group, then spotted Erais. He walked over to her, taking a small inspection. She had changed since they had set on different paths. Then again, so had he. He was know about the strength of Pan, and that was something to brag about.
"Knowledge of a master dragonrider?" Serias asked Pan with a grin. "He really doesnt know that you were the first being to be created, does he?"
"Why would I tell them?" Pan asked coldly. "It wont help him much. I doubt he is still aiming for me. I gave him a pretty good humiliation." Pan gazed over at Erais. "He probably thinks we're after the last egg...but I have a feeling, as an Ancient, that it has something to do with Erais. I am an Oracle, after all."

Raign walked over to the armory and grabbed the arkolypsis blade the sharpest and lightest sword in existence. Then he grabbed the best armor he could find, the Jewel armor. It was as strong as diamond, as light as emerald, and had the magical qualities of a ruby. "now I am ready." said Raign as he pulled the small dragon armor over Roack. "We both are." was Roack's reply.
Raign whispered the magic words and then he was gone ready to fight.

Erais was startled when Serias came out from behind a rock, "Serias?"

She was sure everyone was puzzled why she didn't want anyone to hurt Raign alot, except Serias and perhaps Pan. Erais listened to Pan carefully and took note of what she was saying.

"He won't be able to best me if Erador comes, I had her leave because he appeared but now she needs to come back." Erais made sure she was heard and then called Erador back.

Erador landed with a thump on the ground. Erador was glad to see Serias but confused that him and Pan were getting along, the last time she had seen the two together they were fighting and freaking Erador and Erais out. Erador was waiting and listening also, she could see Erais' discomfort.

"Something to do with me?" Erais gave a start when Pan had finished talking. "What does it have to do with me? Yes I know what race I am as Serias told you, so I will be hard to beat, I think. Yes I am going after the last egg."

At that moment Raign was back, Erais wasn't sure but she thought she saw something that made him realize who he was going to attack.

OOC: Ok, next goes Saphira75 then Mutagh

Blake saw Raign appear, He contacted Keriaia. Now would be a good time to get out here. He said to Keriaia. Yeah, might be a good idea. She replied. Keriaia flew into the air and landed, somewhat, gracefully next to him. Blake didn't want a fight even though he was sure it was gonna come down to that. He saw Raign wearing a special make of armor, and Sowrd. He saw that his dragon was wearing a special armor too. Blake kept his hand on his sowrd, In case it did come to a fight.

"Damn he's back again can't we catch a break today." Zane was frustrated but ready to fight even though he knew he wasn't getting one.

"If somethin happens I wanna fight but ill let one of you guys fight i already took a stab at it so any takers" Zane was tryin to lighten the mood and calm himself down.

"By the way im takin bets 5 crowns on erais"

OOC: Sorry about that, I wasnt on yesterday.

IC: Pan gave another yawn.
"So he's back..." She walked over to the rock and sat down once more.
"Serias, come here. This is their fight not ours. I havent slept in quite a long while. Wake me up if it gets out of hand." Laying her head against the rock, she invoked the Underworld spell.
"Dont walk out of the circle.."she reminded them with her eyes closed, and almost instantly fell asleep.

"She has a point," grumbled Serias. "Why should we fight? This should be a good lesson for the three of you: teamwork. Even with the potion of Everlight, a sword, and armor, he can still be beaten with pure teamwork. Dont leave any gaps, and you'll be fine. It all requires practice." He looked at the blue aura of the battlefiled, looking dumbstruck.
"Is Pan up to that again?" He shook his head, then continued.
"Go on, I want to see if any of you had gotten better."

Raign drew the arkolypsis blade, and spun his staff over his head, he was ready. He looked to the ground and muttered "Erais I'm sorry but I must." Then he jerked his head back his muscles expanded, his bandages tore off, and his eyes went white. "Now face your true nightmare." said Raign as he lept thirty feet into the air coming down on Erais' sword.

Erais held her sword up to block it, the blow was strong and her knees buckled, she came to the ground. He was stronger then she had thought me might be, Erador was mad but waited.

"No, everyone stay out of this fight, it is between me, Raign and our dragons. This is our fight, I know I can do this, I hope." She muttered the last part just loud enough for everyone to hear. "Raign why are you so keen to go to Galbatorix? Don't you remember last time Galbatorix had us?"

Erais was upset and confused, he hated him, why was he with him?
Erador growled and came to stand right behind Erais, she watched the other two, waiting for Roack to make a move. Erais with overwhelming speed started to attack Raign in such a fashion that has never ever before been seen.
Only her will was making it possible.

" Erais if you are losing im going to help i wont let you be killed by this brute, and anyways if you start to lose at least you will tire him out for me " ZAne acted calm but was really nervous he wanted to help but it wasn't his fight.

He saw Erais attack in an enraged way she was beating him back by the nine hells she's strong.
She could just win, im glad im not that brute, Zane thought to himself.

OCC: Fix up your grammar a bit please. Oh, and this might be a bit short, i cant really do much till the fight's over.

IC: Pan felt a mental echo, a river flowing through millions of particles. Her's eyes flicked to Zane, and then on the ground in front of her.
"Dont even think about it. If you try to walk into the circle, you will die. There wont be any afterthoughts." she gave a haunted laugh.
"Or, if you're lucky, they'll torture you for the rest of eternity." She was now fully awake. The echo had stopped her Nether-Transfer. She finally noticed Raign's sword. It was light, and almost quick enough to be Serias'.
I wanted a fair fight, she cringed.
and thats what I'm gonna get! Without anyone noticing, she sent a magical blast through the blade of Erais' sword. The Sword grew longer and sharper, and at the same time, lighter. She made it glow a light tinge of blue, which was transfromed into a blue flame. The power of coldfire. It let Erais' sword strike with a freezing blast so cold, it felt as if you were touching magma.
"Thats a bit more fair, wouldnt you say?" she whispered to Raign, and Raign alone.
It isnt even close to being as light as Raign's, but at least every blow would be near fatal... Pan then looked at Raign...and remembered the Potion of Everlight. A century ago, Galbatorix found the first bottle, trapped beneath thousands of stones beneath the catsle dungeon. And the second bottle...Pans hair waved in the wind. Was always with Pan herself. Now she remembered.
She drew it out.
Take this Raign, she said to herself as she teleported the bottles contents into Erais' body.

Raign struck blows with Erais for a long time. Every blow hurt but only for a short time due to his Berserker abilities. It seemed as though Raign was winning until Erais started moving faster and faster. So it seemed as though they were of equal strength. "You may be faster but I can last for a longer time due to my berserker powers, my endurance is eternal." Raign swung but was blocked, stabbed but was evaded, and he did the same to his oponent. "Erais, you dissapeared and left me to die, I needed you and you left me. Beaten, battered, clawed open, I needed you." Raign could feel it now, his berserker ability was speeding up, slowly but he was getting faster. Flashes went through his mind of his wounds he recieved so long ago, how it hurt, how he came a thread away from death. Then he thought once again to how galbatorix offered him a great gift and he turned it down for her. "Galbatorix gave me hope and power, more than you ever gave me."
Tears streamed down his face. His anger was making him faster, angrier, stronger. "I will not die a failure. I have a plaque I need to destroy and you are in my way you always were!"

Erais was terrfied, why was he talking this way. Erais could feel the contents surge through her body, she could sense Raign getting faster and kept in her mind what he was telling her. Soon her will was giving her more strength and she felt no tire.

"I had to leave, if I didn't we could have all died. I had to fake my own death, if you blow my cover then what will I do, will you leave me here to die, will you let Galbatorix kill me. If I hadn't a dragon I would have killed myself." Erais had tears coming down her face now, she could feel her self get quick in the mind, quick enough to think fast in dier times. "You're wrong, I gave you more hope then he ever did, I can help you defeat what you are trying to defeat. Alone we are weak, together we are strong enough to take shades on. Let me help you, I have changed but not enough."

Erais was soon a blur with her speed, she kept getting stronger and faster with her will, she was sure everyone had their mouths open but couldn't be sure. Her tears weren't anger, they were of regret.

"I was never in your way, I helped you. Please help me and don't go in league with my enemy. We can help you, Serias, Pan, Blake, Zane and I. We can help you." Erais went to the opposite side of the ring.

She stopped moving and threw her sword down, she then just stood there, not moving just crying.

"Make your descision, kill me, or help me." It sounded as though there was venom in her voice, but it wasn't it was something different, something she had only felt for one person before. "Pan, Serias, stay out of this, this is his choice. If he wants to take my life, then I give it freely."

" ERAIS NO! " Zane yelled" Why are you doing this, you dont have to. You Pan is you're name right take the circle away we have to help her. Please take the circle away. Why are you letting her do this?"

Zane was angry with Pan and himself. He felt helpless and useless he could only stand by and watch. Why is she doing this.

" Berserker only a fool would ally himself with an enemy because of grief let us help you you dont have to help that madman. Look Erais ls laying down her life for you. Please, we can help you."

IC: Blake saw the circle he knew he coulden't go through whithout something obviously bad happening. This sucks....No one can go in becuase of the circle and Raign will, hopefully not, kill Earis. But then again words of solved alot of prbolems before hopefully it will work now.....but if not... He saw a rock right by his foot and he kicked it at the circle it bounced back and didin't go through. awww man.......This is not happeneing..... He thought. All he could do now was sit and hope becuase he knew Pan wasn't going to take down the shield.

OOC: No one reply, It's night, and I've gotta go. I'll post tomorrow morning.

OOC: Not much to write until the battles over, so finish up lol!

IC: Pan's silver hair blew in the wind, billions of sliky strands flying. She closed her eyes and pulled her hair back.
"If she begins to fail, I'll remove it and stop Raign. I do know that Raign had always hated Serias as well. If Erais dies, so does Serias." Serias nodded sadly.
"It's from an oath I made long ago. I have to protect her and her brother. If anything happens the gods will hold trial and kill me." Serias said in his gruff voice. Pan got up and walked straight into the circle.
Walking up to her, she put a soft heand on her shoulder.
Dont give up, you have much ahead. I'll give you some of my power, just enough to defeat him. From there, you're on your own. The fairytales are over. She trasfered the magic into her body through a shoulder Giganip.
She walked back to the rock and slumped down. For some reason, the very air was draining her strength. Then she remembered.
"I must Nether!" she closed her eyes and passed through the void, and into the Netherworld, where she regenerated. She couldnt live in the mortal world without the Nether.
She came back the split second she left; no time had passed.

Serias looked hard at Raign. The whites were pure, but hatred and pain was clearly seen behind them. Someday, he'll come back...

Raign seethed as Erais speed and strength rose. Pure anger pumped through his viens and scorn was his heart. "You've always been better. I was always the week one." Raign ducked to dogde a deadly blow. "But no more." Raign threw himself at Erais. Her blade into his ribs and stuck out the other side, but it didn't matter. She had no way to attack, her blade was stuck fast. Raign could feel blood in his lungs. Then he lifted up his hands in order to use a spell to put her to sleep. "Galbatorix still wants you, alive!"

OOC: Ummm, Raign...you've just disabled your breathing lol...

OOC: not completely I have about 1.5 lungs left and you only need 1

At first Erais just stood there, she didn't want to fight anymore, Pan came into the circle and had given her her strength. Erais watched Pan leave the circle, she still wouldn't move, if he wanted her then he could have her. Erais was shocked at what she heard from Raigns mouth.

"Better, no I just was quicker then you all you have to do is come back. I don't want to fight anymore, just kill me if that is what you want. Raign you're a good man, I know you are you helped me when I neede the help. Let me return the favor and help you, I won't fight anymore." Erais refused to move, she would let death come if that is what came.

Erais watched him, she knew that he was going to do something stupid. Erais made no move to stop the spell that he sent at her, she let herself fall to the ground, asleep. The last thing she heard was Raigns voice saying that Galbatorix still wanted her alive. She quickly put spells around herself to protect herself from other spells, and she put spells around herself so he was able to take her back to his castle.

Erador fled, Erais was mad why was she acting so defeated. Erador flew away before anyone noticed, she headed for the Beor mountains for safety. Erais will need help, but Erador would have to leave Serias and the others to do it. She wanted nothing to do with Erais' death.

Blake saw Earis fall to the ground asleep. He looked on as Earis was carried away by Raign. "Raign...Can't you see she's trying to help you? Or do you become more blind then you already are in berserker mode?" He asked insultingly. Earis asked not to hurt him.....but she didn't say not to knock some sense into him with words... He thought quietly to himself. "Well, are you going to awnser my question or not?" He asked.

OOC: Mutagh

" Your a fool, a blind fool. How can you do this when all she wanted was to help you? Why dont you answer are you to afraid that we are right. You coward. " Zane was so angry he wanted to help Erais but she chose her fate.

Why would she do this.

" she was willing to die for you, anyman could see that any human. But you've lost your humanity haven't you, you let yourself slip away in grief and take a madmans help. Only a coward. " Zane felt no pity for this man only anger he knew this man was choosing this fate because of grief but zaane didnt care he still only felt anger.

OOC: mental block. And besides not much I can write, so....ummmm, go Hayden.

Raign looked to Zane. "Be quiet, you don't know a thing about it." Then he grabbed Erais. His breathing was heavy and he knew his magic was becomeing to week if he teleported back to the castle it would be his room and he would have to rest right away. Raign grabbed Erais and teleported himself feeling his strength dissolving.
In an instant he was in his room he set Erais on his bed and fell asleep. Before he drifted off he hoped his magic would keep Erais asleep longer than he would be.

Even though Erais was sort of out instead of sleeping, she could still sense that Erador had left her behind to face Galbatorix and Raign alone. In a corner of her mind where she was still awake she started to question why she did such a stupid thing.
Was she just not thinking straight?
Was she just scared and wanted to die?
Or was she doing it because she didn't want to enter into his castle alive?

Erais woke up. She was in a room in the castle, she walked over to a window and looked out, she widened her eyes in terror, she was in.
Erais thought back on what had happened, she could kick herself, what made her act so unawhere of what she had said and done.

Erais looked back across the room, Raign was sleeping and Erais saw a chance to escape. Then a thought came to her and she sat down in a chair to wait for Raign to get up, and hopefully contact the others and Erador before then.

Blake saw Raign his dragon and Earis dissapear in a flash of light. He had no idea where they teleported except that it's probably in Galbatorix's castle. It took a moment for Emotion to reach him becuase of the abrupt escape, But it never reached him instead a contact reached him that he only knew as...Earis!? Your Alive!? He asked he knew he had just asked a dumb question becuase he knew she woulden't be trying to talk to him if she was dead.

"Of course she's alive,"Pan said to him, cutting through his mmental message.
"Else Serias would be on the ground. Galbatorix isnt about to miss the chance to add another rider to his little battalion. There's a small chance, but next time we see her, we may have to fight."
She walked over to the big scorch mark, and rubbed it between her finger, quick calculations. After a period of what seemed to be staring at it, she got up, and announced.
"Galbatorixes castle, room 25, probably Raign's room. I doubt they'll stay there much longer, but it's worth a shot."


Serias looked at her, then in the direction of the castle.
"It's possible, but we'll probably going to have to whipe out whats left of his army. The Varden did quite a bit of damage, so getting through unditected should be a lot easier then normal."
nd no dragons, he messaged to Chronum, who showed him chewing on Serias head, and replied.
I wasnt going to say that, Serias. I was going to say, it would be a bit easier to teleport onto the topmost tower and climd down. For some darn reason he has his dungeons up there. I highly doubt he'll give her a nice room until she pledges loyalty, so that's the place she'll be."


Serias explain what the ancient dragon had said to the rest of his...friends.
"There is a chance...bu..." Pan looked up thoughtfully.
"Those towers are high, it might kill Blake and Zane..."

Raign's dream was great, but it made him angrier still. His parents his sister everyone he loved had returned to him, and he looked normal. It was like the shades had never existed. He had grown to become a great wizard and his family was proud. Then he woke up, and pain crossed his face. He could not deal with it any longer if he didn't get his revenge he would vent, and alagaesia would be in his range. Then he looked over to Erais, she was awake, but made no attempt to escape. "Why, are you still here? Are you trying to mock me, make me feel worse? Then spare me and kill me."

Erais just sat in the chair, she had an idea up her sleeve but ti might cost her her freedom. She looked at Raign a few times but didn't like thinking about it, she just kept trying to get in contact with Erador. Why wasn't she letting Erais get a hold of her?

"Because you would be punished severly if I escaped. I am not trying to mock you and I won't kill you, you are a good man and I can help you." She said softly and stood up. She walked over to the door and opened it. "You might as well report the prize you have gotten for Him."

Erais just stood in the open door, she was sure that once she told everyone that she wouldn't leave, they would think she was crazy. Erais waited patiently and kept her eyes on Raign, he looked worn down and beaten.

"I want to help you, just let me try." She walked over to him, Erais wanted to help him from his agony and pain. He just had to let her.

"Now when you say kill us....." Blake Trailed off. "How exactly are we supposed to be killed?" He finnished. How exactly do you think Zane and me are going to be killed? He asked Keriaia. She showed him a dozen diffrent images of how, but Blake didn't think any of them fight why they were going to be killed. He looked around and thought that something was missing...Besides Earis of course. Hey where'd Erador go? He asked himself quietly.

"When you say kill do you mean in battle or the altitude? I dont think she leave without that berserker, she likes him a lot I can tell she wants to help him. But the top i have no dragon and I could stay at the bottom and climb up as a decoy that could work." Zane pondered over his idea risky but hey lotsa fun.

"THere are things called archers," Pan said coldly. "So climbing up to the room would be like suicide. We have to go from the top of the tower. The only thing is, if you fall off, no magic could stop you. And I'm not going to waste mine on strangers."


Serias looked at her, then back at Zane and Blake.
"What she means is, the veiw from that tower is very...good. You can see Duweldenvarden as it it was right below you. Now imagine how high that is. Of course, Galbatorix's real headquarters are in a house thats sitting on clouds. But that isn't the point. That tower is liquid smooth. falling off is..." he cut himself off, trying to think of something gruesome enough.


Pan just walked up to him, looked a him, and they both nodded.
"Meet us at the bottom of the wall, about twenty meters from the gate going southwest. It's pretty much a dump, so no one is there." Serias touched her on the shoulder, and they dissapeared without a trace.

OOC Sorry, it's short.

"I think I get it falling of bad Pan not very nice. I got it and Blake While we are in the castle should we snatch the egg I would like to become a rider and maybe the dragon will choose me, will you help me get it?" Zane ended the sentence and began walking to the castle.

"You comin?"

ooc:If we happen to get the egg could i get it i was accepted as a rider i want to think of a good way to get my dragon

"Nothing can help the pain. Even if I got vengence, even if I return to normal, It won't help the fact that I am alone and my family is gone forever." a tear slid down his face. "The only thing keeping me going is my vengence, no matter how pointless it is. I hate to think of what will happen when it is done. I just hope I can help others from my fate, a lonely fate." Raign walked to the door and opened it. "I will die wether by your blade, my blade, or a shades, I will die and when that day comes I will be happy." Raign walked out the door then looked back to Erais "I have to fight you, but as a friend don't hold back." Raign drew his sword and stood at the threshold ready for whatever came his way.

Erais sighed again, she wasn't going to fight, she couldn't fight him, not again. She drew her blade anyway but held it to the ground.

"I told you, I won't fight you anymore, if you want to kill me you better do it before Serias gets here. You wouldn't be lonely, time can heal your wounds, I want to help if not then I will kill myself knowing that I could have helped you but I didn't." Still pointing her sword tip down she looked into his eyes, hoping he would come round, if not then she hoped her plan would go wrongm other wise not even Pan or Serias could fix it.

This was her choice and since it was on her own free will they wouldn't be able to undo what she was going to do.
She held his gaze, tears slowly falling down her face and her eyes seemed different.

"Help me and then my part will be done and I will step down and die, then you can do what ever you want, kill yourself if that is your intention. I just don't want to be alive when it happens." Erais gave a start, Galbatorix came up behind Raign.

Erais quickly sheathed her sword and made no trace of crying, she put on a blank face and her eyes turned cold on him. She didn't hate him, just gave pity on him.

Blake followed Zane around to the tower "You know the egg itself is probably on Galbatorix's nightstand...." He trailed off. He looked around Sure looks like the discription... He thought. He tried to contact Searis rather then Pan Becuase of the whole falling discusion. He looked around the tower looked like it would fall on him from the angle he was looking at it. "I'm pretty sure they weren't Joking when they said you could see Du Weldenvarden from up there...." He said quietly.

IC: Come over here you two,Serias said mentally to both of them.
We're in the crypt of the elder gods. It's a cathedral that was abandoned 200 years ago for reasons unknown, and has become the tomb of the past kings. It's down the large hill you're standing on, pretty hard to miss. It's quite large.

"Oooooh, Serias, please tell me,"Pan growled.
"Why do we bother with these mortals. We can just go in, kill Raign, free Erias, then kill Galbatorix! We dont need these two!" Serias looked a bit dumbstruck.


"Good point...but it's a bit too late for that. WE've already told them where to meet and all." Serias looked around. Pure darkness.
"It may tke them a while to realize that we arent exacltly inside the cathedral."Serias whisper and Pan just looked away.

OOC: My posts are getting shorter and shorter...

Seeing the look on Erais' face Raign swung around with his blade trying to slash Galbatorix with one blow, but Galbatorix simply shrugged off his blade, threw him to the ground, and stabbed him in the right chest. "Traitor." said Galbatorix as he yanked his blade from Raign's chest then picked him up threw him into the wall, then struck Raign with a blade across the face. Raign felt faint, and tried to get up but Galbatorix lifted him up by his leg and threw him onto the ground, hitting his head. Blood poured out of his fourhead and he once again grabbed his sword and tried to get up only to be stabbed in the back by galbatorix, then hit in the head with the flat of his blade. Raign tried to get up but blackness started to fold in at the corners of his vision, and he passed out unable to wake. "Well, look who has returned." said Galbatorix as he cleaned his blade on Raign's tunic.

Erais ran over to Raign, quickly muttering some healing words. She unsheathed her sword and stood in front of Raign, glaring at Galbatorix and his stupidity.

"You, why are you so stupid? Why not just give up the hunt?" Erais kept her eyes on Galbatorixs hands. "What could be so important about me that you've kept up the hunt these years?" Trying to bide time so she could get her strength back, she felt tired and defenseless.

Erais didn't notice Galbatorix mutter a few words, time seemed to stop in Erais for a moment, not able to move. When she came out of it, there was a blade running through her stomach, and she fell over, passing on into the next life. She wouldn't give up just yet, she would help Raign now and so she began to fight a failing battle.

"Raign said you wanted me alive." Barely a whispere, she tried to pull the blade from her stomach, what would happen now. To her, Serias, everyone she ever had contact with. Erador!

Erador came into her mind, she didn't care if she would get the pain too, she wasn't about to let Erais die, so she lended her strength.

WHen Zane and Blake got there he looked around the tomb and inside it, but couldn't find Searis and Pan. "Where'd those two go?" He asked Zane. He looked around inside the tomb the pillars rising high above his head he noticed the enteryways to diffrent kings burial places. I wonder if they were as corrupt as Galbatorix? He asked himself. He was still looking around when he decided to contact Searis, Where are you two? We've searched high and low in this place. He asked him.

"Did you contact serias? What he say? What is this place it looks like rats don't even live here? Did you notice that Pan is a little cold. Just out of curiosity." Said Zane

IC: Idiots, thought Pan as she let the dimension power go and they returned to the normal world. Cant even figure it out.
Serias just blinked at her, then tuned to the two people.
"Galbatorix visits this place daily for reasons unknown,"he started and was cut off with the sound of flapping heavy wings.
"Must be him now. Quickly, come inside." He looked at Pan like a signal, and with slumped shoulders, as well as grumbles, pulled on the fabrics of the universe. Like a piece of paper, if u will.
"Alright, lets go," said Serias. Then, holding their upper arms, he dragged them in. Pan came last, and closed the rip, flooding her view in darkness.


OOC: caterpillar, that turned out so short!...well, actually, its 6am sooooo lol

OOC: It's not my turn, but I am curious Shade, you said that Erais and you have this bond type thing, if she dies you die, if you die she dies. Wouldn't Serais be feeling the stab Erais is suffereing at the moment?

Roack came into Raign's view first he had been licking Raign trying to wake him up. Then as Roack moved he saw a blade stuck in Erais' stomach. Raign struggled over to her, his insides still bruised, and pulled the blade out. Confusion came over Raign as he healed Erais's wounds. "I was fighting her, I hated her, I wanted her dead, but now I have to help her. My actions will go punished later but now I must save her." Thought Raign as he rose blade in hand ready to fight. "I will die saving her, and my sins will be redeemed." Said Raign as he charged at Galbatorix. "What made me act that way?" was Raign's thought as he swung at Galbatorix being quickly evaded. Then Glabatorix retaliated with a quick swing to his stomach. Then he drew another blade. "I guess you learned what the berserker spirit will do to you." said Galbatorix "It allows you imense power, but it will eventually turn you into what you hate, in your case a shade, one that is under my control." Grinned galbatorix as he swung his blade mearly toying with Raign.
Raign backed away. "I cannot fight or I will become a shade, but if I don't I and Erais will die."

With Eradors help and Raign Erais was able to stand up again, this time she was having some struggle. She picked up her sword and stood for a moment watching Raign and Galbatorix. Galbatorix's words stung Erais, she had to keep herself awake so she could help out Raign, she wasn't going to let him be forced a Shade on her account.

"Something you must have forgotten about me Galbatorix, I have a powerful will." Erais could feel Erador give her strength, Erais jumped into the battle not thinking.

It seemed to her that at first Galbatorix was loosing, but soon he regained his ground and was fighting back with strength she didn't know he had. Even though she was sustaining many mild and sever cuts she kept going at it.

"I have to wonder why you are so determaned ~sp~ to get rid of all good, what did it ever do to you?" Erais was thrown against that south wall.

ooc: i was going to put that in later, kinda like you cant feel pain the in void. Then he walks out, and stuff happens. (dont wanna ruin what i have in mind.)

OOC: I was just making sure you remembered.

Blake stepped into the void in the wall. "What now becuase I can't get up there on Keriaia without getting more then a few holes in me and her..." He said to them. That reminds me... He thoguht to himself. Keriaia? Where are you? He asked her. I could ask you the same thing...but i'm still hiding in a few bushes by a old tomb or something like that... She said. I'm kind of in that tomb and kind of not....Don't ask... he said Too late, you lose! She replied. fine I'm in this void in a wall inside the tomb....happy? he said. fine... She said.
