Skills:
Sword: Just like his father, Hain is superb with the sword. While young, he was taught how to forge metal by the elves. After several unsuccessful tries and burned hands later, he created a sword that was almost a pefect replica of his father's. Instead of spouting pure red flames, however, erupting from its tip is a beautiful twist of red and black that twines around each other.
Dagger: On each of his hips there is one dagger. One with an irridescent jet black blade (right hip), and one with an irridescent ruby red blade (left hip), which is stationed beside his sword. On the ruby red one, the sheath has the eye of a dragon stamped into the leather. On the jet black one, the sheath has a rearing dragon head that emits sparkling silver fire stamped onto it. Apart from his incredible swordsmanship, he has great prowess in handling these daggers. When he chooses to be, he can be stealthy and draw them from his hips silently to deliver a quick, deadly blow, but even in an open fight he can defeat opponents with a sword using only these two daggers. On rare occassions, and only if it is very necessary, he can throw the daggers with deadly accuracy as well.

One brown from his father and one sapphire from his mother. The brown eye has a thin ring of ruby red around the pupil. The sapphire eye a darker shade of blue.

Home Village:
Near the outer edge of Du Weldenvarden is where he was born, inside a small hut.

Parents:
Felecia (mother (elf-shade) Rider to black Ebony), Mesaraih (father (human-half/elf) Rider to red Fenirexes (Mesaraih has the strengths and speeds of an elf, but is not an elf by blood), all alive and thriving.

Siblings:
Technically, Serenity is Hain's half-sister, even though they have completely different parents. She is one year older than her half-brother.

Character Personality:
Hain got much of his personality from his father. He is protective of his friends and family, and emmaidetly dislikes anything or anyone that threatens them. He enjoys sparring with his father; it keeps them both fit. He occasionally crosses swords with Zana, who is the shade that shares his mothers body. At the times that these explosive fights break, it is the regular sight of seeing him walk away with several new bruises to nurse. He enjoys these sparrings all around. They keep him on his toes.

So like his father, he is ambitious about everything. Ambitious, but not to the point of foolishness. He enjoys a good battle, but does not go in search of a fight. In Ellesméra, he is teased purfusevly for being a half-breed. Being of a somewhat tolerant nature, he ignored them. Most of them stopped because it wasn't fun anymore, but there was a few that didn't quit, and finally Hain had had enough.

The dam over his temper breaking, he had drawn his sword and challenged his tormentors. Thinking this was going to be an easy win, they accepted. At the end of a very long battle, every one of them was laying on the ground cowering, most covered with burns. After that day, they treated him with respect. But they also became his closest and most trust worthy friends.

Then again, he has a whole other side of his personality from his mother that, honestly, is quite ugly. His explosive temper came from Zana. He has some control over it, but if pushed to hard, he will sail over the edge and, quite literally, fly off the handle. In the middle of one of his tirades, it is possible for someone to get hurt. He abhors losing his temper. He almost lost his mother from a nearly fatal wound that he had delt on her neck. She had healed, but a almost invisible white scar remained. Another part of his personality is from his mother herself. He is kind and caring to those that are close to him.

When he is alone, he often sings softly to himself. A deep, rich baritone that seems to reverbrate through your ears. His mother taught him a song she had learned when she was young. He sings it to himself whenever he can. If he happens to be sitting outside when he is left alone, creatures from the forest will come to listen to his singing. The first time this happened, Hain was startled to say the least. After doing this several more times, he became accustomed to his animalistic audience.

He also has some traits from Ebony and Fenirexes, but they are much less noticable.

Character History:
Hain was born in a small hut at the outer edge of Du Weldenvarden. At a young age, he learned how to play the pipes. At his insistance, his mother sang a song while he played pipes. Then one day she switched parts on him. She played pipes while he sang. His father, Ebony, Felena, Serenity, his mothers sister, Ella, and Ella's dragon , Zeke, were in the room as he sang the song his mother had taught him. As the last dying note fell away, silence. They had been speechless with awe. Now at their insistance, he will sing for them from time to time.

Hain, at a very young age even for an elf-human child, was taught how to forge metal. After many tries, he succeeded in creating an almost exact duplicate of his father's sword. The blade is a swirling mixture of red and black, glittering and shimmering in the light. He wears it at all times at his left hip, except for when he sleeps. Even then, it's not far away from his hand. After Hain had made this sword, both Felecia, Zana, and Mesaraih taught him everything they knew of swordmanship. After they had finished instructing him, he was a warrior to reckon with. So far he is not very well known to many people in Alagaesia. Mostly, he has stuck around with his family and their closest friends, training under their care so that he can live in the world of peace that he has been dreaming of ever since being a very small child.

Still, his parents have led him through much terrain in Alagaesia, and he is familiar with every aspect of the land that they are. He has trained under their watchful eye in places ranging from the Beor Mountains, to the Spine, and even the Hadarac Desert. In Du Weldenvarden he did not feel comfortable at first, because he was always ridiculed by many for being a half-breed, but soon enough he gained their respect by showing them that he could be a valuable member of the forces working against Galbatorix, and a number of elves that at first were the main ones that had taunted him soon became the closest friends he had outside the circle of friends that he knew on behalf of his parents.

Weapons:
Sword:
Súndavar Blödh-as his blade is named, which means Shadow Blood-the hilt is made with a gem of ruby, which is held in place with four ribs of silver that curve across the surface and attach to the opposite side. The hilt is just long enough for him to grasp it with both hands if he happens to be attacked and a shield is not handy for him to grab. The blade is longer than Murtagh's hand-and-a-half sword by the width of Hain's thumb. The thickness of the blade is half the width of his little finger. The width of the blade is Hain's thumbs pressed beside each other. At the top of the scabbard is a shimmering silver dragon muzzle with its jaws open to cup the sword hilt when sheathed. Etched on the scabbard is this; I have the blood of shadows on my blade. Fear me.
Dagger:
Hain has two daggers on his belt. A ruby red blade is sheathed beside his sword; its name is known as Raudhr, meaning red. The black one is Súndavar, named for its coal black blade. Made out of brightsteel and obsidian, both Raudhr and Súndavar are very near indestructable.

Likes:
His family. The magestic dragons that his parents and sister ride. Nature. Most of everything, really.

Dislikes:
The Empire and anyone working with them. Someone or something threatening his family and/or friends.

Weakness/Fear:
Magic-wise, Hain seems to always have trouble when it comes to protective spellcasting. Most of his magic use is rather aggressive and offensive, and when he tries to use defensive magic he tends to get impatient with it quickly and leaves loopholes in wards and other such spells.

Animal Companions:
A young fox that refuses to leave his side, even when he sleeps. Hain has named the devilish creature Junæ, in honor of his mischiefous nature.

Character Physical Description:
Hain Mesaraihsson is well muscled through his forearms, lower back, and abdomen. Those are the first things to get toned when training with the sword. He has one brown eye and one sapphire eye from his parents, along with his dark black hair with blue highlights. His face is kind, like his mothers. Hain is approximately 6' 5", so he towers over his mother. He got his height from his father. His skin is the same tan color of his father's. His features are very close to those of an elf, but upon close inspection one can see that they're all slightly diluted by the human features of his father, whom his face and even body greatly resembles.

Dreams for the Future:
1: Defeat Galbatorix.
2: Protect his family.
3: His mother has begun to urge him to begin a search for a mate, though he doesn't show much interest.

Reason for Dreams:
1: So that he and his parents can live free lives without fear of being captured or killed.
2: So that he will not have to endure the heartache of losing a loved one.
3: His mother tells him that falling in love is the best thing that could ever happen to someone, but inheriting the slightly wary side from his father, he is hesitant to bear his heart and emotions to someone that could rip them to shreds in an instant.

Unknown, possibly dead.

Dragon History: Cinera's egg had been hidden for a very long time inside an ancient dragon's lair in the Hadarac Desert. Few people had stumbled upon this place and therefore the egg had not been touched by very many people, yet eventually someone took a very curious interest in the egg and removed it from its hiding place, where it had been in since the day the dragons roamed wild and free. Whoever found the egg, however, mysteriously disappeared soon before Felecia and Mesaraih happened upon it when they took Hain along to train in the arid conditions, and upon Hain's touch the egg soon showed signs of hatching.

Dragon Personality: Cinera has a very caring and benevolent nature. Apart from this, she is very intelligent and wise, even among dragons. Unfortunately, these ideas are not heard too often because she is also rather shy and at times a bit afraid to share her thoughts. She worries a lot about the bond with her Rider, because even though it is stable she wants to be sure that it will always remain that way. Whenever her friends are endangered though, a lot of her character comes up and she is capable of becoming a leader among the group she's with. It is a work in progress, but she is attempting to boost her own confidence.

Colour: Forest Green

Appearance: Cinera, after growing all she will, is a bit smaller than the average dragon, but with very large wings respective to her size, and at the tip of each wing there protrudes a sharp spike reminiscent to the ones along her back. Her features and shape of her body are lean and angular, giving her a graceful appearance.

Armour: (For when she's older. She does not wear this armour as of now.)
Plates of polished silver that are connected by chain mail. She is covered from the base of her head to her wings, where it breaks to allow her wings to manouver, and to let the saddle sit, and continues to the end of her tail, where a deadly spike is attached. A helmet covers the top of her skull, but leaves her lower jaw free to bite and snap, as well as to release her flame.

Dreams for the Future:
Cinera only wishes to eradicate Glabatorix and to become as closely bonded with her Rider as she can.

Reason for Dreams:
So that she, her family, and her Riders family can be safe. Cause she has no desire to be alone.

Weakness/Fear: While her small build gives Cinera a lot of speed, it also makes her strength in comparison to other dragons much less, and in confined space she would have difficulty gaining the upper hand.
