Green Day is kind of like a starting band. When you first get more interested in music, you go to Green Day for a while, then move onto newer things. For me it was metal, for Kaerasman it was obviously kind of emo rock lol.

what's emo mean anyway? i'm the kinda guy who grew up on country music, and i realize i should have gotten into rock earlier now, but i cant change it. and other favorite bands of mine are nickelback, all american rejects, and acdc, so i'm an all around rock person, i guess. i've heard a ton about emo stuff but never heard a definition for it.

of course that doesn't mean all emos look like that. They're just generally viewed as depressed kinda who wear all black and slit their wrists. Obviously, hardly an people who are emos, or like emo music are actually like that. i look nothing like that. though it's long, my hair is blonde. i have glasses and i dont wear makeup. i just like the music cuz i think its awesome.

I love all those bands too. I also like Three Days Grace. YUP Ya can tell I'm a white girl. lol I almost never listen to Ludacris or Fergie or anything like that. To me Green Day isn't a transitional band. Before I was listening to all the different genres trying to find what I liked. I was mostly leaning towards the punk pop revival stuff. Then I heard Green Day and I thought it was awesome. I try to do ballet to their music.  Ballet and heavy metal just didn't work out._________________ Now everybody say all at once, "DOOOOOMMMM....."
